He's patient, honest, and always happy to share his knowledge - exactly the traits you'd want in a card shop owner. He's upfront and transparent about his prices when he's buying/selling cards, and makes sure people leave knowing how to check fair market values for themselves. His prices are super fair in today's crazy market, and he goes out of his way to hook people up with promos and deals whenever he can. My kids would live at this shop if I'd let them!

I used to collect sports cards growing up and had a Pokémon collection as a kid too, which I sadly sold at a garage sale before I knew any better. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife. Even with the holiday weekend keeping them busy they were super welcoming and took time to walk us through the store, explain how they price things, and answer our questions. First time shoppers also get a cool Pokémon pin which my son loved, and he picked one out for his sister too. Make sure to signup for their newsletter as they have a nice little $5 promotion too! Great selection if you're into Pokémon--from packs to slabs to singles. They also had a solid variety of video games and consoles from vintage to newer stuff. I had fun digging through the sports card boxes too, just wish there were a few more to look through. Best part was my son had such a fun experience. We opened packs together and put his cards into a binder we bought there. Definitely felt like a core memory for both of us. Would definitely recommend if you want to support a local shop. We'll definitely be back.

We didn't come up with a close by card store, but there was this comic book store we decided to stop and try. The owner was very very nice. Easy to talk to. They're really helpful. They have a few long boxes set up in the front with 1 dollar comics and 5 dollar graphic novels in the front of the store. Singles are kept in the 1$ long boxes which include a lot Marvel, Image, Valiant, Ultraverse comics from the 90s, you'll also find some DC and vertigo titles as well. Sifting through these boxes gave me flashbacks of when I was a comic collector in the 90s. Towards the back left and back wall of the store, you'll find shelves of graphic novels, omnibus, and other collected editions. Back issues are set up on a large table in the back. You can find a mixed selection of different titles from Silver age to modern. I found surprising inventory of certain title runs. I have a bit more exploring to do in this store. Crush carries good comic storage stuff - boxes, bags and boards (BCW brand) on the right side of the store.

I've visited this store about four times now, and unfortunately, each visit left me with the same…read moreimpression. First, the customer service is not great. I don't expect owners or employees to act like best friends with every customer, but basic friendliness goes a long way. A simple greeting, a smile, or even a respectful tone would make a difference. Every time I came in, I tried to say hello with a smile, but I was usually met with cold shoulders, blank looks, or no response at all. I've seen mixed reviews from other people, so maybe experiences vary, but from what I personally noticed, customers seem to be treated differently for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. Second, the language used by the staff/owners was uncomfortable. I brought my nephews with me, and there were also other families with kids in the store. The workers or owners didn't seem shy about throwing around curse words, including f-bombs, in front of everyone. I understand this is not a children's store, but if kids and families are present, it really should not be that hard for grown adults to keep it professional for a few minutes. At one point, I exchanged looks with another parent, and we both clearly felt the same way. Lastly, the pricing is disappointing. They do have some rare figures, but many of them are overpriced even when you factor in shipping from online sellers. The loose figures were also poorly packed and still expensive, which makes them hard to justify. Overall, the prices felt pretty close to eBay, sometimes without the convenience or buyer protection that online shopping offers. Maybe this place is worth checking out if you live in the Bay Area and want to avoid shipping, but based on my visits, I don't see a strong reason to come back. Experiences like this are exactly why online stores continue to thrive.

The store is packed with Legos from 2015-26 and it's convenient when u need a Minifig or set and not to mention the old vintage sets as well. The prices on sum of the figures may be a little high but it's understandable when you figure out what the figure goes for and I'd say it's not as bad as other resellers. I told him so he squeezed us up front ( I can not see the board too far back) so this morning I texted at 7am to reserve the same exact table that we have been sitting at for the last 6 months every single Thursday, I get a text back that , that table has been reserved? Last time it was her friends who she sat there , and we got bumped out?! So I guess she had more friends coming and wanted to sit them there ? This is really rude! And makes you feel so unwelcome! I really enjoyed coming to this Bingo but this is wrong to just exclude someone? It was fun while it lasted, and now she is free to sit her friends their every single Thursday we can spend our money somewhere else.
