Cool shop that's pretty big. Friendly staff and a good selection of Pokemon tcg. The buy/trade rates are pretty fair.

Peep the Morty's Conviction - I like buying singles in person and I'm so happy I found this specific card here.

Had a great experience buying Pokemon TCG singles. Owner is super friendly and patient, and he had a few older singles that I had been looking for! Highly recommend, also has an extensive D&D and board game selection. Cards were fairly priced, can't complain.

He's patient, honest, and always happy to share his knowledge - exactly the traits you'd want in a card shop owner. He's upfront and transparent about his prices when he's buying/selling cards, and makes sure people leave knowing how to check fair market values for themselves. His prices are super fair in today's crazy market, and he goes out of his way to hook people up with promos and deals whenever he can. My kids would live at this shop if I'd let them!

I used to collect sports cards growing up and had a Pokémon collection as a kid too, which I sadly sold at a garage sale before I knew any better. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife. Even with the holiday weekend keeping them busy they were super welcoming and took time to walk us through the store, explain how they price things, and answer our questions. First time shoppers also get a cool Pokémon pin which my son loved, and he picked one out for his sister too. Make sure to signup for their newsletter as they have a nice little $5 promotion too! Great selection if you're into Pokémon--from packs to slabs to singles. They also had a solid variety of video games and consoles from vintage to newer stuff. I had fun digging through the sports card boxes too, just wish there were a few more to look through. Best part was my son had such a fun experience. We opened packs together and put his cards into a binder we bought there. Definitely felt like a core memory for both of us. Would definitely recommend if you want to support a local shop. We'll definitely be back.

We didn't come up with a close by card store, but there was this comic book store we decided to stop and try. The owner was very very nice. Easy to talk to. I've visited this store about four times now, and unfortunately, each visit left me with the same…read moreimpression. First, the customer service is not great. I don't expect owners or employees to act like best friends with every customer, but basic friendliness goes a long way. A simple greeting, a smile, or even a respectful tone would make a difference. Every time I came in, I tried to say hello with a smile, but I was usually met with cold shoulders, blank looks, or no response at all. I've seen mixed reviews from other people, so maybe experiences vary, but from what I personally noticed, customers seem to be treated differently for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. Second, the language used by the staff/owners was uncomfortable. I brought my nephews with me, and there were also other families with kids in the store. The workers or owners didn't seem shy about throwing around curse words, including f-bombs, in front of everyone. I understand this is not a children's store, but if kids and families are present, it really should not be that hard for grown adults to keep it professional for a few minutes. At one point, I exchanged looks with another parent, and we both clearly felt the same way. Lastly, the pricing is disappointing. They do have some rare figures, but many of them are overpriced even when you factor in shipping from online sellers. The loose figures were also poorly packed and still expensive, which makes them hard to justify. Overall, the prices felt pretty close to eBay, sometimes without the convenience or buyer protection that online shopping offers. Maybe this place is worth checking out if you live in the Bay Area and want to avoid shipping, but based on my visits, I don't see a strong reason to come back. Experiences like this are exactly why online stores continue to thrive.

My wife came years ago with my kids to make me a…read more"#1 dad" display and I wanted to do the same for her especially when I remembered she was gone at the store for more than an hour. The best part for us was the "build it yourself section" where they have a loose pile of bulk lego as well as a wall with more organized sorting. You can build anything here and every part you use is 25 cents at the register. My kids favorite part was looking for all the figure parts to make a recreation of our family. All those minifigure parts are up front near the "Lego Movie" Wildstyle statue. Near the register is also all the minifigures, I loved looking through these and seeing all the cool old lego figures I grew up with. The middle of the store has a huge city display you can tell was put together passionately. They also have used and brand new sets for sale. I let my kids each pick something around $15 for helping build a present for their mother and it was hard for them to choose with so many options! The store was totally packed the entire time we were there but staff and owners were super kind and helpful in finding random bits for us and other customers. Super kind people, thank you for being amazing!
