This is one of the best nail spas. It is clean, the technicians are friendly and do their best to ensure everyone is helped immediately upon entering. You are greeted upon entry. You do need to sign a book; however, they will continually monitor to get you to a chair and serviced. They speak to you during your service if you are interested in conversation; however, if you would rather look at your phone they will kindly let you. The music is Christian music which I thoroughly enjoyed as it was a nice change to the typically music being played at other places. It wasn't loud so if you didn't pay attention you may not notice. Prices are what you can expect and now there is an additional charge for using cards rather than cash, which has become customary. :( The owner is present and working with everyone. This is my preferred nail salon. Brooke is fabulous; however, she is quite busy but I have had nothing but great service at this location. read more

Went in to get a lip and brow wax. Looked great but I was charged 24 dollars!!! Way to expensive! When I mentioned why is the price so high the lady says oh we went up the last 6 months.. unbeknownst to her I came in before about 2 months ago. Called them to set up an appointment and then they acted like I never called at all. even though the woman said i could have an appointment and gave me a time. Also tried to gaslight me and say that i called a different location but i told him I got the number off of their Facebook page and he went mute. Won't be going back. i also had an experience from one of their younger nail techs where they improperly paced my acrylics and the older tech said this could lead to nail fungus and asked me to point out who gave me my nail set. read more

Nail job was great. It was just a really really long wait. Everyone was working but on a Saturday you should have more folks working. I was there for 3 hours in total. Pedi was really good bit on the pricey side. Spend $56 but wasn't given the option of either of the two lower priced ones. She actually shook her head no and pointed to the third one. I don't need the fluff of the hot rocks. I want my callouses rubbed smooth and my toes pretty. Probably won't go back because of the price and the ling wait. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Came here because I saw how high the reviews were. BIG MISTAKE. During my spa pedicure the woman filling the water walked away and the water overflowed everywhere. Pedicure ended up being fine. She takes me to a young boy to do my manicure. For the entire time he made fun of how short my nails were and my appearance. Constant remarks the entire time. Laughing at me. As he's cutting my cuticles I realize he has no idea what he is doing so I ask to finish and leave. They charge me 17 dollars for uncut cuticles and no polish. The boy was initially going to charge me just 5 then the manager said 17 and wouldn't budge even after looking at my nails (see photos) They embarrassed me in front of the entire store. Service depends on who you get. 2 women who have given pedicures and manicures on me multiple times have been great. An older man who has given pedicures often forgets the foot massage and basically rubs lotion on the legs then wipes it off. I either have to stop going to this place or try to schedule appointments with the women but that seems hard to do when schedules do not line up. I get it, old people have arthritis and sometimes can't do what they used to. They may need other jobs than half way performing a service. It's so annoying because if you mention... Hey you forgot the foot massage... He gets offended, puts off a negative vibe and goes silent then hurries up and gets you out of the way. read more

Went in last night around 6 and didn't leave until after 8... but it was worth the wait. Jessica did a great job on my nails. Huge color selection. Good customer service, great location/ venue is upscale compared to the nail salons in the area ( and I've tried tooooons). They were a little short staffed because someone was sick and someone else called in, but the 4 people that were there did a good job with time management and moving people in and out. Prices were decent I spent $62 on a toe polish change, soak off and full set (coffin shape, med length). They take appt Monday-Wedneday, and you'll need it as this salon is doing good numbers of peopple for just a tueday I will be back in a few weeks! read more

I was hesitant to go back here. The reason I did was because the owner and I have children at the same schools and it was close. Megan gave me a full set of acrylics and half of the tips did not fully glue down so there is a gap. She didn't trim the nails to be even before slapping on the tips. I may have noticed if the shop wasn't so dimly lit. Great for relaxing but not when detail work needs to be done. Way too expensive to have gaps, uneven filing so acrylic is thicker on one side of the nail than the other. This was just a special perk for me that I haven't gotten done in years. I'll wind up soaking them off and giving up the nails again. Too bad I can't even enjoy them for the two to three weeks without worrying about fungus. Pedicure was good though. Hesitant about the older guy but he did a nice job. read more

So so pleased!! The first time I went was for a gel manicure, I was a little let down because it only lasted a week. But I wanted to give them another chance and I got a full set of acrylic with gel polish with Martin! He was beyond nice and did EXACTLY what I asked for: the shape, the length, everything was perfect. I don't think I've ever been this happy with how my nails have turned out. I also will add that both times I did not have to wait at all, and was sat down immediately! The atmosphere and staff are equally welcoming and inviting. 10/10 would recommend and will most definitely be returning! read more

Well, I guess I'll just have to settle for the 5...because, y'all----this was hands-down (no pun intended) the *best* service I have EVER received at any nail salon. I don't mean just in the Birmingham area. I'm talking about the best service I've received at a nail salon ever. If you don't continue on to reading my review, please just give this place a chance. You will not regret it!! I was instantly greeted when I entered, and promptly seated. All of the staff were busy with other clients when I arrived, so I sat in the pedicure chair for a while until I was served. The guy who greeted me was walking around asking everyone if they wanted refreshments, and swiftly acknowledged everyone's requests. The person working on the customer next to me has a cheerful look on her face the entire time, and acknowledged all of the lady's requests kindly and promptly. All of the other staff members seemed rather cheerful as well, and all had great attitudes. When it was finally my turn, I was greeted with a sincere "I'm sorry for the wait!" Come on--where has that ever happened at a busy nail salon?! She then made friendly conversation with me while performing my pedicure, and continued to be cheerful and kind. I got the Deluxe (I think, whichever one is $45) and it was the best freaking pedicure I've ever gotten. There were at least 3 rounds of sugar/salt scrubs, a lotion, and lots of massaging. It was finished off with hot towels and a hot rock massage. I certainly was not expecting that for the price! Then, when some of the other clients had been finished, someone came over and began working on my nails. She was equally cheerful and kind. Just all around great attitudes and good vibes at this place. At the end of my visit, the person who did my nails then asked if I'd come back. That really took me by surprise, because I'm so used to nail salons being in a big rush and seeming to only care about finishing the job then moving on to the next paying customer. But these people were nice to everyone in the shop and seemed to genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is very resort-like with pillars and vaulted ceiling lighting. That's just the icing on the cake to the service I received. The place was extremely visually appealing and comfortable! Newness radiates from their facility. TL;DR: great service, great atmosphere, great prices **Bible-Belt Bonus Points** They played Christian background music, and had a few Christian decorations. While this makes no difference to me, maybe it'll persuade someone with a strong religious background to go give them a try. This is Alabama, after all! ;) read more

I've been here a couple of times and it was fine on most occasions but today I loved the manicurist who did my service. She was so sweet and polite. They are generally busy, but they do try their best and get you seated. I will add that my nail shape was performed by someone else so I can't credit her with that, but she wasn't rough at all. Found this place by chance after reading the reviews on here. First time visit was wonderful! The staff was super polite and conversational, not to mention quick at their craft. The prices are a bargain for everything you get and everyone on staff was extremely skilled and well versed in their procedures. The place is family owned, making for a warm and inviting atmosphere. I asked my tech if he could do a specific service which is a full set ombré French tip. I showed a pic of how I wanted my nails. When he finished, the ombré was horrible. He tried to convince me that thats how it's suppose to look. I wish I had taken a pic of my nails! I would have opted for a regular French tip had he let me know he could not do it. I had never patronized the salon before, but the location was convenient, and my schedule was tight this week. (I went in a few days ago for a gel polish change.) The very NEXT DAY, the polish cracked and my nail chipped. I have been wearing gel polish only on my nails for months. Every week or two, I have the color changed. At my regular salon, it lasts for at least two weeks before chipping, even at the worst place I've previously gone to, it lasted at least a week. But the next day?!? Gel Polish! Also, the polish was very see through. I expressed concern about it, but the tech said it would darken with more layers. It did not...with more than 2 coats. There are noticeable "chunks" on some nails because the polish is so heavy, but there are also areas on the side that are completely bare. When I entered the salon, there were no prices posted, so I asked how much a gel polish change would be. I was told $25, which is $5 more than my usual salon, but I didn't think much of it at that moment. But as I left, and definitely the day after when my polish/nail chipped, I could've kicked myself for spending more for an obviously inferior job. Definitely won't be back. read more
