Well, on a whim and fed up with feeling invisible at the other place, I decided to try them again and I am so glad I did. I def do not recommend this place. It seems like everyone just wants to hurry up and get paid and move onto the next customer. The woman who did my nails did an awful job and I was charged $27 for a full set. I constantly asked her to make them all even and she couldn't even do that. Some nails are longer than others and wide. Then for liquid gel is $45. This is the second time I've been here and two different women who I feel don't know anything about acrylic nails. read more

8/27/21 Several months ago I stopped by here to see if waxing for men is done. I believe inquired about the whole body for men. I was informed that they did. Today I called just to make sure so I did. I did not want waste fuel for my car if this policy has changed. Guess calling was well worth it, because whoever answered the phone, told me they only do the men's back. Guess the rest of the body is off limits. Actually, I think they will do half leg, arms and maybe face, but that is about it. Another striking blow for the men and waxing department. At least she was honest about it. read more

My nail became infected because I am sure her equipment was not sanitized. Tried to call the manager and since she is the only tech there, she would not take the message and finally left a message with another person later and she said she will give him the message but, as of now, no response. They really don't care so I would advise to use the other places in the area because I have never had this horrible service and lack of responsibility to address the issue with me. read more

**2.5 Stars** I am not too picky about my nail salons but maybe I should be. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp because of its close proximity to home. Honestly they weren't extremely terrible, however the lady that worked on my nails was rushing and made me bleed in two fingers. They stung for about 4 days before healing completely. I chose a natural baby pink color and overall it looked clean and polished, although you could still see my nail lines faintly beneath. To my surprise it was $37 (before tip) for shellac in a solid color. (This is supposedly with the 10% off on all services that they advertise in shop.) Normally, this would not be such a big expense, but for the quality of service I received, I believe the price was way too much. She literally said two sentences to me, there was no extra care or attention to detail. I will make sure to choose my nail salons more carefully next time. read more

My girls! My mom and I have been frequenting Eden for about 10 years, if not more - and for good reason. Yesterday evening we had an unusual experience. Another customer was in for a pedicure and began ranting about how nail techs speaking in their native language was like gossiping, then doubled down on her argument when the nail techs explained that they're just discussing their job. When I pushed back against the customer, she became aggressive, accusatory & completely disrespectful. To be fair, I don't have a high tolerance for racist and abhorrent behavior so I'm sure I wasn't my most personable self. It became a whole scene, and everybody else in the salon was determined to get her out of there. Eventually she left after multiple threats to call the police, a termination of services & literally 8 other women telling her to leave. The nail techs & the owner held their own, thanked the rest of us for standing up for them, but no thanks were necessary. One nail tech even helped the troublemaker gather her things. They are hard working, wonderful, lovely people who have never disappointed me in over a decade. Who I believe to be the owner disclosed to me that incidents like this happen sometimes. Attacks against AAPI are on the rise, and Nova is not immune, even though this is an extremely diverse area home to many different cultures. Be respectful, or 8 other women will tell you to get out. For what it's worth, I drive at least half an hour to get there - they got me and I got them. read more

Once again I'm NEVER dissapointed! Call ahead to make sure there's availability. Easy parking and always offered a beverage (non- alcoholic). My go nail tech is Young(?) But the other nail tech is just as skilled. I almost always will ask for a nail design for a Special occasion. If I can give this a less than 1 I would. We have been going to this nail salon for several years and have loved it until yesterday. We have been a client of Crystals for so long that she gave me her cell number to call her for appointments. Every time I want a pedi, I cal ahead and make sure she's there and set a time for it. I ALWAYS show up. Well yesterday I walk in after calling crystal to make sure she's available-and instantly get the cold shoulder. At one point of my mani I asked her what was wrong. She went off on me and says she doesn't have to talk to me if she doesn't want to. Ok...I figured maybe bad day and let it be. Then she went off and stated that I always call and never show up and it ruins her day ( I have never not shown up) I try calmly to explain that she must be mistaken me for someone else bc I don't do that. She wasn't listening . It got to a point that I had to ask for a manager and she said she refuses and to google it. I was so upset. I asked to pay to Get out of there. I've never seen Crystal in that state. But at this point in ever want to go there ever again. I've been coming here for years, and have had pretty good experiences! I usually go to Lynn or Tina, and they have done great pedicures for me. If there is a problem, or something I'm not happy with, they have always fixed it for me with no issues. The price for the basic pedicure is about $25 plus tip. Eden Nails is now under new management. I was told the price before getting my nails done which is nice (they also have a menu with prices if you prefer to look at the options). I got a regular pedi and gel mani with Leelee. She took her time on both my feet and hands providing long, relaxing massages. The polish on both my feet and hands are done well, go to the edges of my nails and the shape is exactly what I asked for. Like almost all nail salons I've visited around here, there is a small language barrier but both ladies I spoke with were kind and didn't get annoyed when I asked them to repeat themselves. I've been getting ny nails done professionally for about 10 years. I recently had a pedicure and a "dip" nail service done at Eden Nails in Annandale on Columbia Pike. After about 5 days a complete nail peeled off. Three days later two more peeled off. I now have FIVE nails that have peeled off! Normally after three weeks when I go for a new set, my nails have to be soaked and wrapped in foil to get the product off. I've never gone in with a prior dip and nails peel off, without any wrapping or soaking. Since this was my first visit to Eden Nails I stopped by the salon to show them what happened. I had three of the five peeled nails with me. I was shocked to hear that this is "completely normal and what customers can expect after two werks." What?! I paid $45.00 for nails that begin peeling off a few days later and after two weeks five of ten nails will peel off? No, this is not normal!! The salon didn't offer to rectify the situation, just shrugged and said it was to be expected. Wow wow wow. Used to always come in to see Lynn come to find out she had left the salon. Come to get a refill acrylics and one of my pinky nails and ame off. They fixed it and did the gel color...all coming to a whopping $45 without being told price beforehand. That's more than getting a brand new full set? FOR A REFILL?! I've been getting acrylics done for years and came to this place plenty of times. Not to mention when you go get your nails done....you go to relax and pamper yourself. Not to have two of the employees yelling and speaking so loudly the entire time not having one break or one second of peace and quiet. Let's hope my nails last. Was very surprised when I had this experience... I've been getting my toes done here for awhile but never my nails. I got my nails done and was very disappointed. Not only is my polish not fully done but she missed most of the sides of my nails. I don't think I will be returning for my nails again, but they always do a great job on my toes. read more

I walked in as they first opened. The salon was quite and clean ! I got greeted immediately and asked what type of service i would like. I picked a color and needed a pedicure. One of the ladies seated me and got started. The massage was my favorite. It was longer then usual and was great. She was also gentle with trimming and cleaning my toes. However, at the end i noticed that they did not use the nail color i picked. They went with a different shade of white and tried telling me it's the same color. It wasn't. I put the two nail polishes next to each other and showed them that it wasn't the same thing. Then one proceeds to tell me the color on my toes still looks good and that next time i come in I can get the color I chose. I was running short of time so i just paid, tipped and left. I absolutely love my nails every time I get them done. My nail tech is Young and she always does an amazing job. She's been doing my nails for about 4 years now. I usually get powder ombré nails or acrylic nails and a pedicure. I followed her from her old shop to this new place Eden Nails. I like this shop better because it's clean, friendly, and spacious. There's plastic covering the chairs, pleksi glass covering everywhere, and she puts hand sanitizer on my hands before doing my nails. Let me start off by saying this place is a complete rip off. On top of that we had a terrible experience. I can't stand when you ask for the service you want done, but they keep bothering you to do more. It's annoying. My mom and I came here Monday afternoon and we can say it was a big mistake. The ladies we saw were Lynn and Vicky. First our nails aren't even, nail polish is uneven, cuticles not cut correctly, and some of my nail wasn't painted. It's by far the worse nail salon I've been to. Second we're getting ready to pay. We step out and notice we've been overcharged. We go back and ask them to explain our charges. They say it's because the way the computer is. Which I found odd because I assume they put those charges in the computer. Anyways, we were charged for a regular mani, 2 gel manis, and a mani pedi combo. Remember, it was only me and my mom. My mom and I got a gel mani each and my mom got a pedicure. They kept insisting that it's cheaper to charged that way. But how? For both of us it should've been 70 (because they were having 10% off). They charged us $95. We were going back and forth for a few minutes. Apparently the manager wasn't there so we left because we weren't getting anywhere with them. The pros of this place is that it's spacious, nail polish station is neat, and plenty of parking. Bottom line. This nail salon is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have been coming here for awhile but I had a horrible experience today and won't be coming back. I asked to have my sns nails removed because I got them done at another place and they were very thick and looked bad. Well I sat there while they were grinding them off. She told me that they were done and they looked like ragged horrible nails. I asked them to at least buff them. I leave the salon and my nails are hurting! they basically grounded down my nails so far that I have nothing left. I am miserable. A friend of mine recommended this place to me. She told me to go see Crystal. I saw her once and she did a good job. Then everytime i would call it never seemed like anyone understood what i was saying when i would ask for a certain time and/and date for appts. Long story short, i went in today and asked crystal if she could do my nails. She said she has an appt and ssid let someone else take care of me. I point blank asked her if this person was good and crystal said yes. I said are they as good as you? She said yes she is good. Maybe I should have been more specific, but when i ask if someone is good and am told yes, I except them to do a damn good job. This girl had to redo my nails three times. She couldnt get my french even and then my nail designs were no good. Finally I told her to stop. I had to pay and only gave a small tip, because it would have been better if she just said she couldnt do it. I spoke to Crystal afterwards and told her what was going on. I told her i wanted her to fix my nails and asked when she would be available. Crystal said that she cant help me and i need to see tammy since she messed up my nails. I told her that she (crystal) is the one who told me to go see tammy and that she knew what she was doing. Crystal just kept repeating herself that i had to see tammy. And i kept telling crystal that i want her (crystal) to re do my nails and would ask her why she thought i would want to get my nails redone by the person who couldn't get it right after several tries. Crystal said im busy i cant help you. Really?! I asked to speak to the manager and or owner. Crystal said she was the owner. I said you told me you werent when i asked you the first time i came to get my nails done. So who is the owner or person above you. She just said we are busy i cant help you. I have been going here since it first had its grand opening. Came back after a year hiatus, went in for SNS nails and the first set lasted two weeks before one nail chipped off. I chalked that experience off to rigorous cleaning on my end. Went back for my new set, was told to come back in two weeks instead of three unlike the first set. Less than a week after (I went in Thursday, the week before thanksgiving), two of my nails had chipped completely off. I now have six chipped nails, one of them, half of the natural nail completely showing. I paid $100 (including tip) within a month only to have two mediocre and hideous sets of nails, using money I work hard for to enjoy the one luxury I provide myself. Rest assured I will not return and I highly recommend someone think twice before going in to a place where "quality" is claimed, but there is failure to launch. read more

I went here with my sister and we had a nice relaxing time. They have a nice atmosphere in the salon, it is peaceful and quiet. Their massage chairs are awesome; you can control it yourself and lean back to be more comfortable. They don't rush with their manis and pedis, which I really appreciate because it makes us feel cared as a customer. I like how spacious their salon is; everything looks classy and upscaled. The manicure pedicures are fine here but their prices are just ridiculous. They quoted me $58.00 for a GEL manicure/pedicure. Upon arrival forty minutes later the price jumped to EIGHTY dollars. They said it was an error in communication... Mind you, the owner repeated the initial quote when I was standing there. It took one of his employees to speak to him on Vietnamese before he changed his mind on price. Do yourself a favor, go to Crystal Beauty in Crystal City on 23rd. They do an awesome job and their prices are fantastic... A mani-pedi is 28.00 on Saturday ... And they are sweet and good at what they do.... Promise, I'm a client.... I tend to have Kim or this other person (need to find out her name) and they always do a fantastic job, especially the pedicure, really detailed and take their times. I am giving this a 4 star today because I had this person who was fairly new to the salon and wasn't very efficient when she was cutting my toenails.
