6/27/26 Today we stopped by for two different needs. My wife went in for some waxing treatments and a pedicure. I went for a manicure and pedicure. The manager (I have forgotten her name) did my wife's waxing while I waited for the next nail technician to be ready. I was asked twice if I would be getting a massage today by the cosmetologist who specialized in massage, waxing and facials. I thought the cosmetologist would be doing the waxing for my wife, but the manager wanted to do it today. The cosmetologist looked bored and apparently hadn't had clientele for sometime today...at least that is what crossed my mind. The cosmetologist ended up going home, because she had no clients. I will be sure to have some work for her the next time I come in. I just might do a facial the next time I am here. The manager ended up finished with my wife and escorted both of us to the spa tubs. Mike (a nail technician who I rarely see working in the store) was assigned to my wife for her pedicure. The manager ended up working on my feet. I needed my toe nails cut short and round. I also wanted to have the hang nails removed as well. This is my primary goal for today. The rest of the experience with the manager was pleasant, but I can't say the same thing with Mike...well get to that. The manager didn't speak much, but I did noticed she looked tired...actually, they all looked tired. I learned later on that the owner of the business has the staff working 7 days a week. This would account for the staff being tired, among other issues. A reason that now becomes clearer from the work my wife and I recieved from Mike. Mike's English is very limited, but it is more than that, I am not satisfied with the results of my nails being unevenly cut. Nevertheless, I will be sure to either cut them myself, or have someone else more qualified to cut them. The work Mike did for the most part was sloppy. I found Mike was more intrested in the World Cup Game or his phone than working on my nails. Now on a personal perspective, I noticed Mike didn't cut all his nails short. Some of his nails were very long and it left a bad impression on me. Having his long thumb nail scratch my skin wasn't pleasant. Nor the grime of unseen bacteria under the long nails. I believe this is one one reason a lady I saw did not want Mike to work on her. She wanted The Manager to work on her feet. *Mike, please cut all of your nails. It will leave a better impression with your clientele. Long nails can collect more unwanted bacteria and grime. Smiling from time to time might also make you look less serious and more approachable. Just a thought.* The good news about Mike: It wasn't all bad though. I am pleased with the hang nails being cut and removed. I love how the cutting of my cuticles turn out. 100% on those two aspects. I appreciate that very much. Overall, Ms. Manager did an amazing job for both of us. The ambience in the shop is peaceful. However, both my wife and I were not impressed with Mike. My wife found him to be rude. I don't see us having him be our nail technician again. read more

I went there recently to get just a foot and neck massage but ended up opting for the full body massage, and I'm glad I did. The therapist was very skilled and used exactly the right amount of pressure (neither too hard nor too soft). It's inside a nail salon, but don't be fooled: they offer a solid therapeutic massage here, and I plan to go back soon. read more

Don't ever go to the man who sits in the front, his name is My Ho. He did the powder method on my nails and it was horrible. I had polish on my skin all around my nails and when I asked him to fix it, he had an attitude. He was rough and didn't even do my cuticles. Two weeks later my polish is lifting and looks horrible. When done at another salon, this usually last three weeks without lifting. I've gone to this nail salon when I take my dog across the street for grooming. Never again. The ladies there do a great job but they are usually booked. While in the salon someone actually said that they didn't want the "man" to do their nails. I see now why. It's a hidden gem. This is my go to nail salon for getting dip powder nail extensions. They last forever! I always either wait for them to naturally grow out or remove them. Never have they fallen off on their own. Nails turned out beautiful this time too. Love the minimal look with the cute design. My nail technician was super meticulous and made sure I got what I was looking for. Very reasonable prices for the quality of work. I paid $60 for a gel acrylic set and it was not what I wanted at all. My nails were not shaped correctly, my gel polish was too thick, and I had gel spilling onto my cuticles that were not cleaned. I was really disappointed in the service and will not be going back to this salon again. Also, two of my nails were put onto my hands to the side and not straight. I did not notice how awful the shaping and polish was until I got to my car and at that point I was really shy and embarrassed to go back into the salon and say something. read more

So I love this place. It's not as fancy as others in the area but the service is really good. The first time I went one of my nails messed up so I had to go back a couple days later. I was not charged to get it fixed and....and get this....Mike actually apologized that it messed up (whaaatt) and he even repainted all of my nails instead of just the one nail. He promised me the next time I came, they would have the chrome powder and I thought he was just talking....well ladies, the chrome powder has arrived! The worst salon I have been to in the area. My pedicure messed up the second I walked out - they were kind enough to fix it that night, but somehow by the next afternoon it had smudged again! All of this right before my beach vacation. The nail art design wasn't great either. I wanted to try the mirror nails/chrome nails look. The guy that did my manicure was rough to begin with, but when he wiped my nails, the look was so messy. You could see the black polish under on the sides. When I asked him to fix it, he added a FOURTH layer of GEL polish, and applied the powder again. I left with my nails looking fine - I think because he didn't wipe them off with alcohol. My thoughts were proven true when I woke up the next morning, and my nails were spotty again. I went back and they took it off and changed my mani to an ordinary gel mani. However, even this was just not as clean as you'd expect. Disappointed. read more

I usually go to MC nails (very affordable) but I figured it was time for a change especially because I was not impressed with how my nails turned out the last time I went. Uneek is not a high-end nail salon, but the service you received is very much worth it. Hellen was the one who did my pedicure and she killed it! She spent so much time cutting my cuticles and making sure it got the TLC it deserved. I have NEVER had anyone give so much attention and care into my pedicure before, and trust me, I've tried extremely high-end nail salons. She would make sure every bit of my toe nails were painted and she was very detailed. There were customers coming in and it didn't phase her at all. Highly recommend giving it a try! read more

Glows: This is the best nail salon I have found in the area for pedicures. My paint job is always on point. The pedicure techs are pretty thorough. I don't feel like they rush. The techs have always been very friendly. They take cards ( but not tips on card). I always feel very comfortable coming here. Very reasonable prices! Grows: In general, I NEVER feel like nail salons give good manicures. I want someone to go over my nail beds over and over with the orange stick. I feel like my cuticles are always awful. They do a decent job, but sometimes I think my nail beds could look a little bit more pristine. More of a nail polish selection, especially summer colors. Shellac/gel only lasted a week. I feel like the light sheer pink colors always peel fast...I don't know what the issue is. Summary 4 stars: I always leave satisfied, but my gel nails were just ok one time. I was hesitant to get them again, but they would probably look better with a different color. Great prices and nice techs that take their time! read more

I had an awful experience here. I decided to try it out because the prices seemed great and the reviews were amazing, but I definitely regret it and will never return. The tech that did my full set was rushing and very rude. Firstly, they clipped a girl's acrylics while she was sitting next to me on the pedicure chairs - her nails flew at me and in to my tub (which didn't have any protective liners). They switched techs when it came to nails so I had the male tech and he was very obviously rushing (it was close to closing time), but I would have rather them tell me they didn't have time for both services then to have rushed through it. He caught an attitude with me because I wanted regular polish and not gel and then painted my nails so quickly there were soooo many air bubbles (you can see in the picture). I've never had an experience like this at the nail salon! The bubbles popped and held on to any dirt or debris and looked gross. Definitely not worse the price tag for the attitudes and the quality of service! read more

Update: Nini, the owner, offered me to try the facial and massage again on the house because she has good products that wasn't used on me. I'll be going to try it and will update this. I do think they have good customer service so hopefully the facial/massage #2 will be better than my first. Nails service is consistently good. But leave the facial and massage services to the experts. It's a two star for both. I did their day spa deal. Facial was just rubbing my face with cheap products and barely cleaning. This is my second time to this salon, came back because The service the first time was decent. Walked in around 6:50, I was told it would be a 30min wait for a full set.. The way she said it was like you sure you want to wait.. But I didn't mind waiting because I had just took my nails off the night before so it wasn't a problem to wait. They have a huge color selection which I like, spent most of the 30min deciding from one color to the next, then to the next. 30 mins pass, still waiting, then finally the nail tech is starting on my nails. Despite them closing at 8, she still took her time and my nails came out amazing. I will deff be back and will recommend. read more

My girl told my about Uneek Nails and how if I went there I HAD to have NiNi do my nails. NiNi and the entire staff were so professional, welcoming and had me feeling that I made the right decision going there. I even had my brows waxed while having a pedi at the same time! Talk about great service Quiet atmosphere, polite staff that are actually interested and willing to hold a conversation with you and unlike 80% of the nails salons around NOVA the place was immaculate. 0 stars if I could. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! I decided to try this place due to the great reviews and pictures I saw, plus It was on my way home from work. The male tech with glasses did a horrible job to my full set acrylics with gel nail polish. They were supposed to be almond shaped and they are definitely not. Some oval, square, round...Maybe if he would've stayed off his phone (he was texting the whole time) and wouldn't have rushed he would've done a good job. Oh and he was also rude. Pushed my fingers away with the nail filer when he was done with one hand and Over filed the side of my nail and made me bleed and he didn't even apologize... did not say a word and only put alcohol on it. I found this place when i was looking for someone to do my nails. They were in really bad shape so I saw that this place was close to where I was and they were open on the holiday. We went and were seated right away. The service was good. The only thing is that the nail hardener they used wasn't adequate as my nail polish was chipped within 2 days so they may need to take that into consideration. I've never had that happen before at other nail salons. 3 stars. read more
