They were able to fit me in last minute and I had the best experience with Annie! She gave me exactly what I asked for when it came to my cut and layers and she gave the best hair wash (best massage ever, almost fell asleep). I really appreciated that she listened when I said I wanted to keep my length while still giving me the look I wanted with my layers and bangs. I walked out with my exact Pinterest inspo! Not too happy the color I chose was poo-poo'ed by the manicurist. She pressured me into using some other shade that is a childish pink color. I went for it since I am open to trying new things, but boy I should have stood my ground this time. She even had to add acetone in the polish so you know it was pretty old already. It started chipping the next day. During the entire process she was trying to upsell me to getting a gel manicure. All she did was make me feel pretty horrible about my nails. I don't get it why this place uses pressure tactics to make more money. Guess when I let her know I was interested in a brow and lip wax she backed off. Doubt I will ever go back here. Annie did such a good job with my hair being super thorough while highlighting it. She fixed my self cut bangs which is a miracle!!! She was super nice and is a miracle worker taking my boxed dyed hair to this. The place is clean and relaxing. My only nitpick is she didn't go fully to my roots making the highlights looks a tad grown out, but next time I will just ask that she goes to my roots fully. I used to frequent this place regularly until they got new management in 2023. And quality went down. It's 2025 and again new management, I thought I would give them another chance. I literally just got my nails done three days ago and my GEL pedicure just chipped. I paid over $150 for both my SNS manicure and gel pedicure and both look horrible. During my appointment I was unhappy with my manicure and vocalized my concerns to the Tech, to which she dismissed. It had been three days and my manicure is starting to chip as well. With so many salons in the area, it feels like I'm on a world tour to find the best and this one is definitely at the top! Walked in for a polish changed and was booked for 40 minutes later. Downhill since new owners. Completely ripped my mom off. She brought in my brother who is disabled. She asked for him to just receive a toenail cut; that's IT. She was charged 45$ and the lady INSISTED that she gave my brother an entire pedicure when in reality he received just a toenail cut. This place will never be the same without Krissy and the old crew. I hope Lisa (nail tech) finds a new spot ASAP. She deserves better. I scheduled an appointment for Thao. Went in and found out she doesn't work there anymore. Asked for Kristy, and was told she doesn't work there anymore. Receptionist couldn't tell me where they went, which is understandable since salon wants to keep their customers. Haircut was ok. Not going back, though, as I prefer to have my hair done by either Kristy or Thao. I returned to Wish for another SNS manicure and I'm disappointed to report that the quality and service wasn't as great as my first time. I had the same nail technician as before so I was excited because she did such a stellar job during my first visit. Maybe it was an off day, but she seemed rushed and she wasn't as detailed oriented. With SNS nails, there's a fast drying top coat and you sit there for a few minutes for your nails to completely dry. My technician checked on my nails and left a mark on one of them (since it wasn't 100% dry) and then about a minute later, she told me that my nails were done. I went to pay and as I took my car out, some of my nails smudged. Upon taking a closer inspection when I got home, I saw that there was polish on a few of my cuticles. Bring cash for tip. 11/11/19 Yesterday, I was introduced to Mimi upon my entering this establishment. I wasn't planning on stopping by, but my eyes saw the name of this business and I found myself wanting to get rid of the hair on the lower part of my legs. Yes, I am a guy, yes, one could call having hairy legs manly, but I like having smooth legs and hairless when I can. Wish Salon&Nails is a Asian based store. From what I saw all employees  are of Asian or Asian American  ethnicities.  Their clelinte are of all types of ethnic groups.  I just happen to be the only black male there at the time.   Wearing my Baltimore Ravens merchandise  I got spotted as a Ravens fan and the ladies there just happen to be watching the Baltimore Ravens taking it to the Cincinnati Bengals (The number one team I despise).  Mimi was called to do the hair removal and she lead me to the waxing room. She seemed happy the Ravens were winning. I learned her husband is a New Orleans Saints fan.  I was lead to believe that she is not a Saints fan. After a little small talk Mimi got down to business removing hair.  Her method wasn't different from what I experienced from other estheticians.  She did not speed rush it as I have experienced in Reston Virginia.   When it was all said and done, she thanked me and left. I liked that She was throughly made sure to remove all the wax on my lower legs. I can not tell how important that is.   I learned afterwards upon checking out, this business no longer excepts tips on the payments.   This is a small bummer, but easy to work around.  Their prices on waxing seem fair.  I might try out the full arms and legs at another time.   I like how clean the place looks. The waxing room looked good too. The personal decorations to give this business it's own style are nice.  The doll set near the bathroom would do better up front, but that's just me. New owners has made a once wonderful salon into a giant mess. So sad to see all of Krissy's hard work go down the drain when she sold to these new owners. only reason I continue to go is because of Lisa. I've had several 9am weekday appointments and Lis is the only person there. receptionist doesn't come in until 930/10. Phone ringing off the hook. Owners are nowhere to be found. New staff has been rude to customers. they are so busy promoting their Med Spa services they are losing customers that have always been the bulk of the business. I was suggested to go to this salon by my mother to have my hair Balayaged. I paid $175 for just the color no cut or blow dry. I usually have no problem paying that price if my hair actually turned out nice looking. Instead, I was left with dry damaged ends and random yellow streaks in my hair. Luckily, I was able to fix my damaged ends with a hair mask. However, I'm so embarrassed by my hair that I no longer wear my hair down anymore. read more

Thank you to Megan P for introducing me to Wish Salon! I would have never thought twice about stopping in this little strip mall joint but I was really happy with my entire experience. My nail technician Yvonne was as nice as can be who paid a great attention of detail to my nails. I felt like I was really taken care of and she was able to provide suggestions to me and explain the procedures well. As I was getting pampered I could see the sanitation machines working full blast in the background as well. Win! Win! Win! Krissy has done my hair for a little over two years and I LOVE her work. I do cuts and highlights regularly. I made the mistake of trying to get my hair trimmed when I was out of town. It was a disaster! I immediately made an appointment with Krissy to see if she could try fix this mess. My hair was uneven, choppy, and way too short for my likings. Krissy kept as much length as possible, added texture, and highlights. I've been meaning to write this review for over a year. I would like prospective customers to be wary when booking here. I can only speak on the two appointments I had. The first was a simple manicure and pedicure. When I returned home I found she'd missed the second coat on 4 toes. That was a disappointment. However, the more concerning issue was the Brazilian Blowout I had in October 2021. All the correct products were used but the technique was not only wrong, but it damaged my hair so severely that I had to cut 5 inches off the next month. I'm very familiar with the hair treatment as I have been receiving the blow out for almost 15 years. It was done so poorly that I paid in full and left the salon between the 2nd and 3rd step. I could not sit there any longer while I watched this woman tear my hair apart and burning it in the process. It was far and wide the worst salon experience I've had. My advice to future clients is to take your business elsewhere. read more
