Horrible. Zero stars. I try to avoid stores like this one with overpriced low quality items however because I was running low on time and live up the street I chose to settle with this store for convenience. I bought a few things that I thought would compliment my outfit because I didn't have time to try it on. I spent a total of 171 dollars on 04/27/24. When I realized the belt, bracelet and necklace didn't fit I went back on 4/28/24 to exchange these items for something I did like. The store manager didn't even look at the items before rudely saying no exchanges. I had the receipt and explained how I would never use the items and they would be a waste. Still she made no exceptions. I took the items and left. I'll never return the fashion district has the exact same clothes for a cheaper price. Although far I'll make the trip. DO NOT COME HERE!!! The Asian lady who works here is rude af and RACIST. My father gave me $1000 to shop for birthday. My black girlfriend and I came to shop here. As we walk in she give my Friend a dirty look and followed her all around (as if she was gonna steal). The Eden Sky store at The Source mall, in Buena Park was really great. It sold classy and classic modern Korean-style and European-style clothes. The service was great, and I bought a number of dresses, jackets and coats there at excellent prices. . Unfortunately, it closed down, probably because the mall is new and took a while to get steady traffic. When I went online to look for its LA branch, I was shocked by the completely different kind of clothes shown on its website, and not in a good way. There is ZERO similarity to the fashionable yet classy Seoul-style clothing sold in the Buena Park store!! I can't even believe it's the same company!!! I don't know to what kind of clientele the Melrose store tries to appeal, but I'm for sure NOT going to shop there! SO DISAPPOINTED. My wife shops here a lot and I like to come with her because shopping together is always fun for us. 10 times out of 10 the owner of this store is here and she ruins the shopping experience for us. Very rude and unhelpful attitude, more worried about her 5 dollar clothes getting stolen by customers who clearly drop money here all the time. I give it 2 stars rather than 1 because my wife really loves the clothes here because they fit her petite frame but honestly it's not worth coming here and putting our fun mood off. Stay away from this store! I have been here couple times, and have had the worst shopping experience in my life. The lady working here is awful. Me and my friend went to the store at Melrose ave. The lady working there had the worst attitude, and we wanted to leave. She was not helpful at all, she took all of our clothes away from the fitting room before we got to try them on, and we had to find all of it again she was not interested in helping. When we asked her questions she did not reply, or she replied with an attitude. Though she acted like this, we still got some new stuff from the store. Out of all the stores on Melrose, Eden Sky is a total favorite of mine. The store representatives here are so sweet and accommodating, especially Melissa! She always asks how I'm doing and even offers to watch my little chihuahua when I'm in the dressing room. We always look forward to our shopping sprees here! The owner has great suggestions, too. She introduced me to a beautiful fitted dress that I wear all the time now. In short, I'm a regular customer here and every time I come in, I always leave with something lovely! The clothes at Eden Sky vary from beachy chic to bohemian to ghetto fab to pretty much anything suitable for a true and through L.A. girl. Let's just say, high-waisted distressed jean shorts, lace bralettes and platform heels are always in stock here. The jewelry selection is pretty eclectic and the whole store itself is reasonably priced. For instance, today I bought a chiffon jumpsuit for $30 and cat-eye shades for less than $10... What a steal! :) So, when my little sister came into town to visit me this month, I knew I had to take her shopping at Eden Sky. We happened to walk-in on a day where they were shooting Lifetime's "Girlfriend Intervention" and it was such a unique experience for her to see television production in action. This store is a complete rip off. Many of the things they sell can be purchased at Santee Alley for less than half the price. Eden Sky's products may be cute but they are of the poorest quality. I don't know why I thought this backpack would be any different. I was in a rush to buy something last minute for Coachella but as soon as I used the back pack it ripped. The clerk told me they're not responsible for damages outside the store. That may be true, but they are responsible for good customer service and she refused to give me store credit. Aside from the unfriendly owner this place has decent prices. It was a little misleading to walk in and be told everything is 20% off and then after finding something from the "additional" 20% off rack.. I get to the register and I am told that the item is 20% off only NOT additional to the everything in the store 20% rule. After inquiring about the additional 20% off on the sign the owner rudely says "so are you asking for 40% off???" I said no... I am asking if the item is 20% off after the 20% off everything discount (which is less than 40% total)... Anyway I thought that was odd. I came here a while back and I wish I could say she was having a bad day but her personality struck my memory as the same as my last visit here. However , There was a younger beautiful Asian representative maybe mid or early 20's (forgot her name) that was so so kind in helping me. They do have very trendy/edgy/daring pieces though similar to what you'd find at Nasty Gal that you may get and only wear once to a party. Again, the quality is not quite there so definitely try everything on before you buy, but it's definitely cheaper than Nasty Gal, so you decide what's more important to you - quality or your wallet? I bought something there that was on the sales rack marked 30% off, but when I checked my receipt they gave me 28% off. So this place is fast fashion. Basically you are getting what you paid for. You could probably find the trendy clothing online for less, but sometimes you need a dress for the night out and don't care about quality or how long it will last cause you prob won't wear it again (especially if it's blasted all over Instagram) this is def the place. The customer service here is appalling. First, I politely asked an associate if she could get a pair of ah glasses down for me and she told me to go to the back and get them. Then I had 2 associates, one of which I believe is the manager, try and take the clothes out of my hands. When I asked why they were taking them they responded "don't you want to try those on?". All three times I told them "no" and they told me they would hold my clothes at the front. Aside from the fact I only had a small clutch, they made it seem like I was going to steal. She put all of our clothes away before we had even tried them on without helping us to find them again. Today I learned (from a former Eden Sky employee) that the owner of this place is racist and doesn't hire black or Hispanic people. This upset me because I applied and never received a call back even though I was more than qualified for the position. When I took my resume in, the owner told me to put it on the register and that she would get it... even though she wasn't doing anything at the moment to not take it herself. Also, the owner will have a bad attitude with people of color and will have her employees watch anyone who comes in that is a person of color, harassing them and making sure they're okay or need a fitting room. So be mindful if it's happening to you it's probably because the manager doesn't trust you based on the color of your skin. Lastly, for those complaining about smalls fitting like mediums, I learned that this is because she changes the sizes on the mediums to smalls to have mode smalls on the racks. This place is a huge racist piece of shit. Will never shop here again. read more
