When I had to put my girl down, I was given a room with a light switch when I was done saying my goodbye. When I was done I flipped the switch and waited for so long, finally I opened the door and everyone was laughing and joking in the hallway ignoring me. Never will I ever forget that inconsiderate behavior from this office. When I went to pick up her ashes, the girl behind the counter had a full mouth of food while I was trying to say my name though tears. That's the worst thing for someone to go through and you all dropped the ball. The vet called me after I commented on a Facebook page at 10pm at night then emailed me that my dogs can't be seen there again because I hadn't called him back yet. When my regular vet was two weeks out for an appointment I called EVC. They are a first come first see practice. I knew the wait time was going to be longer but needed to see a vet that day as my cat was very ill and I couldn't wait the week(s) when my previous vet and others could get me in. It was about 1.5-2 hours waiting - I was one of the first of the am, I would imagine as you get into the afternoon the wait times will be longer, but my pet was seen THAT day. This is perfect place if your pet has an acute problem. Dr. Tarrido and the assistant were extremely kind and patient with my very sick cat. Follow up visits were the same wait time but the staff is empathetic and knowledgeable. I was just there again today for another pet- I would recommend them if you can't wait many days or weeks for your pet's needs. read more

Uncaring Vet and staff. They all about the money and are very rude to walk-ins no matter how sick your pet is.

I had been going to this clinic for years. At first, they seemed pretty good, however, as time passed the staff changes were horrible. They were completely rude and uncaring. I took my dog there when he started to act different. They checked us in and I told the lady at the desk my dog wasn't doing really well. She started to complain to me that I should have gone to the vet's hospital in Orchard Park. I am a senior citizen with health issues, and my dog was a husky. We waited for over 2 hours to see the vet. When the young man and his little girl was called in, he politely gave us his spot. We weren't even put in an examining room; I believe it was a consolation room. Again, we waited another hour. My poor dog took his last breath waiting for these cold hearted "vets??" I ran into the waiting room telling staff that my dog had died. It didn't take long until the female vet came in. We really got into in right there, I swear it was at the point where fists were going to fly! I will never, ever go to the cold-hearted, money-grubbing place again!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I like the vet here ... however I only have 1 problem. That is : waiting for HOURS to get in front of someone. They take walk ins only - no appointments. I've been here 3 times in the last 3 months, and literally wait forever. One of the times, I walked out after waiting over 2 1/2 hours. Try sitting that long with a super stressed out dog. I told the receptionist on my way out I cannot wait anymore. She said , "ok see ya!" ... we never got seen and I had to re-start the distemper booster shots which ended up costing me more $$$ My last visit took about 3 hours total- on my day off. Update : went back to my old vet - I waited for 5 minutes to get in. And within 16 minutes entire visit was over. It's a tad more expensive , but I'm ok with that.... my time is worth money too. read more

Staff very polite I thought they would keep him to do tests,X-rays etc but got proper medication to see if it helps my cat wait time was long as it is a walk in clinic, pricey for future possible teeth cleaning,,,,,,, but aren't they all? I was given an itemized quote on castration for my small chihuahua. The cost was 350$ plus any extras. The day I brought him in, when I picked him up the cost was somehow 581$. I looked at the paperwork from the estimate and that's day and everything was higher priced. Everything. I was told nothing of this price change before the procedure. It was already done. The refunded me 128$ I didn't get paperwork to show what I was refunded for, but the paperwork I got says I saved 28$ not 128, so what is going on here? I ended up owning 582.71$ and this is after the nurse came into the room and handed me 128 cash and no paperwork. Do not trust the billing here. Someone is stealing and it's all the employees, I think including dr.s because another time I was told follow up visits for vaccinations are free and was charged and also refunded in credit that time. I won't go here again. Watch out if you do. It was just an all around odd experience. Plus they took my paperwork of the first estimate and I am now realizing all the price listing is gone. I've been here for two different animals- a stray cat that was in rough shape and needed immediate attention, and my two year old dog who was sick. I had great experiences both times. They don't take appointments so if you come when they are busy it can be a bit of a wait, but you can wait in your car and have them call you when it's your turn. Both times I found the technicians and doctors to be friendly and compassionate, and I appreciated the fact that they didn't seem to be concerned with making as much money off of me as they could; they were very upfront about pricing for each thing as they went along and weren't put off if I declined a service or asked for a different option. read more

I cannot say enough incredible things about this place! The Vets and the techs are amazing and so welcoming, they all really try to be personable and understanding and are more than happy to answer any questions you have. I've taken both of my dogs here for years and will continue to do so! The only slight downfall is that they do not schedule appointments, it's a walk-in clinic so if you're 10th On the waitlist you might be waiting a while. Overall, my favorite vet center! read more

First of all the play sure has changed a lot since Dr. Hall retired it's turning out seem like they're kind people doing a good job of taking care of your pet. Unfortunately now I must admit my dog needs three teeth pulled in the bottom of his mouth so my first initial appointment I got a price quote of $500 and they told me that that includes the first three teeth to be polled and it could go as much as $2000.I thought that sounded pretty reasonable so I agreed I made my appointment and on the day of surgery,I brought my dog up and they gave me a new estimate.All of a sudden the new estimate was from $950-$3300 much different from the first initial estimate they gave me.Well doctor to Todoro or however you spell it. I used to not mind this vet, close to home and wait was a max of 30 minutes (they don't take appointments and are a walk in clinic). Since Covid, the wait has increased to sometimes as long as 4 hours. I haven't waited less than 2.5 hours. While this is understandable due to the pandemic, they should've adjusted their policies to appointments due to the higher demand and less rooms to work in. The staff are rude about people that say anything about the wait, which I'm sure is due to people saying things constantly. But if that's the case... shouldn't the practice have a better system in place by now? They also claim to update you when your pets need to be seen but I only get some updates sometimes. So my pets end up overdue for shots and check ups. read more

Brought my new dog there for an exam. Before even examining him, they tried to get me to sign a form saying that I agree to pay for, and give permission for them to administer any diagnostic testing or procedures they recommend. Ridiculous !!! When I told the vet I'd be willing to sign it AFTER they told me what testing or procedures the dog may need, he told me he would not examine my dog if I didn't sign it FIRST. When I mentioned that I would be contacting the proper authorities about this unethical practice, he said "now you are threatening me" and asked me to leave the premises or he would call the police. Now to make matters worse, I took my dog with the medical issues to another vet and found out the vet at Eden Vet was overdosing my dog with one of the medications! She prescribed her 1000mg of a drug that she should only have been taking 250mg of! She is only a 14 pound dog! I asked the doctor back when this was occurring if this dosage was incorrect because it seemed too high and she assured me it was correct. Clearly not and this is extremely negligent! Best vet ever! Compassionate, considerate and best doctors and staff! My cat had to be put down this year and when she was sick they called out of the blue to just check in and see how she was. I felt a lump on my un-spayed dogs chest. I could not get into my regular veterinarian right away, so on a whim I tried Eden Veterinarian Clinic. What a mistake. The veterinarian spent more time on giving me a estimate to spay my dog then she did with the dog. Told me it was a tumor, and scared me for no reason, gave me a quote to spay and remove the "tumor" and wanted to send it for a biopsy. My regular veterinarian called me and was able to see my dog the next day, and as it turned out she had a clogged mammary gland. He was able to give her relief that day, 45.00 later and no more worries as he is spaying her for 500.00 not the 2000.00 Eden Veterinary quoted me. Complete waste of my time, money, and most importantly the stress on my dog. When I called them to let them know they misdiagnosed my dog they said okay, did not take my name or my dogs, I am sure the young man answering the phone never even relayed my issue to the person in charge. Very friendly staff.... I've seen all Dr.'s at this clinic and I like them all. I love that an appt is not required! I have an English mastiff that is not friendly with people he doesn't know and he saw seven different staff members and we had no issues- I was totally blown away! I guess you could say we found our forever vet home.......we live in Cheektowaga NY and believe me it's worth the drive to know my dogs like the Staff rather than going somewhere just because it's closer to the house and where he has to be muzzled!! read more

This is a great vet clinic! Both vets are very compassionate. I had to have three cherished older pets euthanized this year due to complications from different kinds of cancers. It was a tough year and reflecting back over the years, they were very helpful when I was losing hope, they would always have another idea for me to try. When my cat was having seizures and I had a job interview the next day, Dr. Boothe took my cat home with him and kept an eye on her so I could get some sleep...and he could make sure she got urgent care if needed. I started bringing my rescue cat here a year ago, May 2021. He has a few medical problems, but nothing life threatening, however we have taken quite frequent trips to the vet. In August of 2021, he had to receive surgery to get most of his teeth(all but about 3 or 4) extracted to do stomatitis. After surgery and looking at the bill, they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary procedures, one being "Tooth Polishing" after removing and throwing away his teeth! From then on I had noticed a pattern of them seeming to want money more than care for my animal. I continued to take him here, as it was close to home and he had frequent ear infections, respiratory infections, and small issues that could be handled by a trip to the vet and some medication. This past Monday, 5 days ago, we went for a routine check up and rabies vaccination. It is a first come first serve policy there, so they do not make or accept appointments. i arrived at 3pm and was not seen until 5:30pm. At this appointment, I also told the vet that my cats ears seemed to be infected again. They gave him his vaccine, swabbed his ears, sniffed it, and told me that my strictly indoor cat just has dirty ears. He flooded my cats ears with cleaner, and told me I had to buy my own and do this and sent me on my way. The total cost for that appointment was over $100. That night I noticed my cat was not feeling good, not eating, falling over every time he would try to get up, and eventually started shaking and vomiting. I took him to an emergency appointment in Orchard Park, where they actually seemed to care about my cat! He was having a horrible reaction to the vaccine, which I wasn't even aware could happen. They asked me about his ears, and told me that they were SEVERELY infected and put him on medication for it right away. They had to keep him overnight, costing me another $1,000. I then left a 1 star review on google for the Eden clinic, because I was frustrated, and incredibly angry that they ignored my concerns about my cat's ears and gave me no warning that he could get so sick from this vaccine. Tuesday at 2pm he was all set to come home. He wouldn't eat for me at all. This morning (Friday) I decided it was time for him to be seen again as he had not eaten since Monday before this whole ordeal. I went back to Eden as soon as they opened, signed in, and waited in my car for them to call me with an OK to come inside. It took an HOUR of me waiting for them to call me and tell me I was no longer welcome and they refuse to see my cat at this clinic. After asking why they wouldn't tell me, and I was told in the most disgusting and condescending tone that if i was so concerned about him not eating he can go to the ER again and would not be welcomed here. I have never been so disgusted and disrespected in my life. after a year of putting up with their problems and giving them the benefit of the doubt, they would rather let my cat die than treat him because I left them a bad review on the internet. Another $400 had to be spent today for an emergency visit to see why my cat won't eat. All of my family and friends that go to this vet also have had to transfer to new ones because of their absolute lack of care, unprofessionalism, attitudes, and costs. They will try to make as much money off of you as possible. If you care about your pet, do NOT take them here. read more

Went there yesterday to get nails clipped and $300 later we walked out. The Dr has no bed side manner at all and the charge for everything. The pulled a tooth and asked me if I wanted it, of course I said no so he tossed it in garbage and when I looked at my bill they changed me $3.50 to dispose of the tooth. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic. Both owners of this clinic are completely unprofessional. Hearing them argue with each other in front of clients and employees was just cringe worthy. Then to have him come in the room and complain about his business partner made it a worse experience. I am there for my pet. Not to hear you complain. It seems there's always an excuse why the bill is hundreds of dollars more than what I was told. This place cares about money more than your pet. read more

I have been taking my pets here since our oldest dog was a puppy. The staff is excellent and I feel like I have a good rapport with all of them. One of our dogs has had many health issues during his life and Dr Tarrido has been very thorough in diagnosing and treating him. I like the fact that it is a walk in clinic so that I don't have to work my schedule around an appointment time. Sometimes the wait has been long, but if you know the best times to go, it's usually quick. Monday, Friday and Saturday seem to be the busiest, with the mid week, mid day times the best. read more

I love this vet. They do not take appointments, first come, first served. The vets are very knowledgeable, and practical if you need them to be. Or they will go to the ends of the earth for you. I love that you can have a conversation with them at a very real level, its not all sugar coated. They will help find a solution that works for you, and your wallet. I am not saying they are cheap, however they are very reasonable, but they wont send you chasing rainbows if it is not necessary. I also love that they have a recheck appointment where they waive the office visit to make sure all is well. Great vets, and staff! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this clinic. My family and I have been coming to this vet for over 10 years with various pets we have had. We have had always had a great experience except for today. I brought my two dogs in one for shots and the other for medical concerns. When I checked in my dogs are under my sister's name because she brought them their first for their initial visit which has never been an issue in the past. They told me they could not see my dogs until they hear from my sister that the dogs are with me. I am like are you serious this has never been a problem before considering I have brought in my mom's dogs and sister's cats for visits before and no one has ever said this to me. Not to mention I brought her in earlier this year because of tick and they had no problem seeing her. Also, when my sister tried to change the dogs to my name they told it was not necessary, it would not make a difference whose name the dogs are under. When my sister called the vet to clarify with them, the person she talked to one the phone said she doesn't know why they would have said that to me. Sounds like to me that the vet tech I talked to didn't want to take care of my dogs. Like I told the vet tech I will be finding a new vet and will be encouraging my family to do the same. Very nice place. Did not rush us, answered questions, took us in the same day we called, no wait once there, super friendly, and understoond that not everyone can afford a small fortune for vet care. They even gave my cat a bag of treats to take home. They were very gentle with him and everyone there was professional and welcoming. Highly recommend them. read more
