I have paid a small fortune for slipshod body work, cheap clear coats that peeled off, horrific paint jobs, and costs that were outrageous. I took my car to Freddie's after my check engine light was constantly going on. Milo, the owner, immediately checked my gas tank cap, realigned it and said that was the problem. He told me if it continued to go on for me to bring it back.I was very impressed with his honestly. Afterwards, I had a rather large dent in passenger side. I took it back to Freddie's and Milo examined it and gave me a very reasonable estimate. It turned out beautifully, done in a couple days, and it was impossible to detect where the dent had been. In the past, I had taken it to a much larger, well known, car shops and they always wanted me to leave it with them. I was familiar with this scenario, leave it and then be told there were multiple things that needed to be done, at prices I could not afford. Anyways, after locking in to my detective skills to ID the culprit, his insurance handled my claim. Now as with many insurance agencies they have their preferred shops that they guarantee the body work for life, or someone can choose their own with no such guarantees. Yall know how I feel about my car - or at least you should by now - so I was only going to go somewhere that does great work on MINIs, preferred shop or not. A guy in one of my MINI enthusiast groups recommended Di Eva so I went for it (This is also how I discovered there was a Raisin Canes in south Jersey. Btdubs, I went again yesterday and it was fire as uze). I just got my car back yesterday and the bumper, panels, and paint match are next level. My biggest concern is that it would look like a Frankenvehicle with mismatched parts, dull paint, odd fittings. But it looks like a new car from the back. I'm over the moon! And as an added surprise, they were able to get my sunroof to close! I may or may not have been riding around with a tarp that I have to put on in case it rains smh. I think that says a lot about this shop - real craftsfolk won't be satisfied calling a job complete if something else is not quite right. I really appreciate them for taking this extra step. There was a 2 week wait to get started on the car - and then I pushed that date back by another 10 days or so due to work. Once they had it though it took 3 1/2 weeks to complete - some of which was spent ordering parts. I had a rental paid for by The Other Guy so hey - take your time. The break from buying premium gas was awesome. All in all, I'm really happy with the work - 1000% worth the drive. Disclaimer: I've had the car back for 24 hours and reserve the right to update this review. But for now, the car looks awesome!

I had to get an estimate for my car. The insurance company set me up with an appointment at CollisionMax. Afterwards, the body shop called me to confirm and make sure I knew where I was going, etc. I arrived a few minutes late but they didn't seem to mind - although it seemed very busy at the time. It didn't take long for them to get started on my car and the person who did my estimate was very nice. After about 20-25 minutes I was done with an estimate in my hand. They invited me to have my work done there, but said there was absolutely no pressure to do so. Very Nice! Definitely felt appreciated!
