    Oysters and clams. Brilliant!!!!

This is a magical place with an amazing wine list and truly happy staff. We loved the burgers and especially the oysters!!!!

This place is unbelievable! We made a reservation for 11 on a Saturday night. Due to the group size, we could only order from a group dining menu, which had plenty of options for us to choose from. The food is incredible, and the portions are humungous. Cocktails are unique but I especially loved the espresso martini shots we got to finish the night. Our waitress was very kind, and the food came out relatively quickly. The inside is small. Not a ton of searing, so would definitely recommend making a reservation. Very classy but modern ambiance inside. Would recommend to anyone dining on the island!

The port hunter is always a must for us when on island. The oysters to start were shucked perfectly, we loved the vinaigrette served with. We got the burrata app, when I say this is THE BEST burrata I've ever had I'm not joking. I am obsessed with burrata and eat it regularly, this was perfection. I got the tuna carpaccio as my meal, the serving was plentiful and delish! My boyfriend got the hangar steak which was cooked to his liking and the croquettes were Overall a must on MV! Get the burrata!

I loved the vibe in this restaurant. It was a dark atmosphere, brick walls, and beautiful artwork. There was a bar area as well as normal seating. I came here with my family and they loved the Buffalo Brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese and the fish tacos. We also got the octopus appetizer which was really good but a very small portion. Prices are extremely steep but that's normal for any restaurant on the island. Service was great.

Whoever priced these at $38 should be charged with culinary fraud. They taste like the result of a bet to see how bad food can be before someone complains.

This place is clearly very popular because there was a queue outside the restaurant before it opened for 5:30 p.m. dinner service on a very rainy Saturday night. Once open, the restaurant quickly filled up with diners. Tables tend to be closer together because of how busy it gets, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, meaning things can get a little loud. Service was the right level of attentive: staff were very friendly and they were good about clearing plates and utensils when it's clear diners are done eating. The daily fish specials are posted on a chalkboard inside. Overall, the food was very good. The buffalo brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese were very good but for $18? Feels steep. My husband enjoyed his tuna, which was served like an elevated poke bowl and had Asian influences. I got the seared cut cod special, and enjoyed the sweet corn and mushroom risotto that came on the side: it was appropriately warm and cozy feeling for the rainy day, and brightened by the bursts of sweet freshness from the corn.

Food: menu is ordinary, nothing really stood out for me. It feels like a combination of American food mixed in some seafood because why not, they are after all in MV, but have to add on something exotic like an elote. I did end up getting an elote because, like I said, the most exotic thing on the menu. Glad I ordered them because the flavors were phenomenal. For my main menu, I just got a tuna tartare on top of crispy rice with ponzu sauce. Kind of disappointing...the crispy rice was not crispy at all. It was more like seared rice. I like the crunch factor and it missed miserably. Overall, the tuna tartare was ok. This was an appetizer that I turned into a main course because nothing on the menu really screamed out to me "try me!!!" Oh I forgot, we ordered the focaccia bread...it looked like crostini bread. I was expecting something else. It was blah, nothing exciting about it. My fiancé ordered the burger and it looked decent. It sure filled him up. Would we come back here...we tried it once and I think once is enough. The ambiance was great though. If they have happy hour, then sure maybe this would be a good place to meet up with friends or coworkers for drinks and appz. Service: our server was friendly and there were multiple servers that helped out with moving the dishes. There was a consistent attention to every table, which I appreciate. It shows team work.

    Cucumber Cleanse and Phil Collins!

Excellent service, food and cocktails!!! Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We ate outdoors. It was a lovely evening. Our wonderful server was Natalie. We started out with Cocktails- a Cucumber Cleanse and a Phil Collins. Both drinks were wonderful! Entrées consisted of a yellow fin tuna with bok choy and a burger. The yellow fin tuna was one of the best entrées I ever had ! The flavorings beautifully complemented each other. My friend loved his burger! Taking a half a star off-Restroom could've been cleaner. Parking is available on the street and in some area lots. Otherwise, I truly love this restaurant! 4.5 STARS!

Wonderful date night while we were on MV with family. Delicious, Efficient, ease of parking (near a public lot) and nice ambiance. My husband loved the tuna steak. I loved the scallop special. Key Lime desert looked simple but tasted special- perfect ending. Service was en pointe.

two types of oysters - both I'm told were good

First off, we were just so glad to find some place that was open on a weeknight in the offseason. So thank you right off the bat for being open! The beer menu was kinda small and just a couple pale ales so I skipped drinks but my wife had a cocktail that was fairly decent. Some of the apps looked good but we were hungry so went right for entrees. I had the chicken sandwich. This seemed simple but was actually incredible. I'm so glad it was grilled and not fried. The harissa was there but i would've actually wanted even more of it. I was so appreciative of how little fat was actually on the bacon, it was a great cut and full of flavor. The aioli was also an interesting - feel like everyone does pesto or a spicy aioli but the chive aioli was really cool. I would 100% get this again. My wife got the fish tacos which were good too but not as distinctive as other options. Main downside for me was the priciness of it all, the chicken sandwich was great but not all that reasonably priced in my opinion.

I finally got a chance to dine there with a friend during my most recent visit in late May and I was really delighted. The service was friendly and our waitress gave helpful recommendations on the menu but the food delivery was on the slower side. For dinner we shared the sweet potato rolls, smokes cauliflower, bolognese and the halibut. Favorite dish was far and away the smoked cauliflower. It was absolutely outstanding. The flavors and textures were perfection. The halibut and the pasta were also both great. Cannot wait to come back and try their other veggie dishes, mushroom ragu and pork chop which also looked very tempting.

We told them this and they said they would hold the table. We arrived about 10 minutes later and were seated immediately, outside at the last table along the wall. It was a perfect, quiet, spot for the 5 of us! Our server, Summer was amazing. So friendly, so accommodating and a great representative for the restaurant. She made the experience even better. We shared some apps and the halibut special which was amazing and HUGE. The five of us shared this incredible special. The fish was perfectly cooked and the accompanying potatoes, salad and aioli were perfect! This was our first time there, we have been to the Port Hunter before. We will definitely come back!!

We started with the lobster and caviar Hawaiian roll, which was flavorful and delicious. The grilled octopus served over pork and white beans was another standout--the flavor profile here was top tier. Honestly, the appetizers had me expecting the rest of the meal to be on the same level. Unfortunately, the entrées were a different story. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly temperature-wise, but the lack of seasoning was unbelievable. The execution was there, but it desperately needed flavor. We also ordered the halibut, which was extremely dry--to the point that I couldn't finish it. The sides brought things back around. The jalapeño corn and Brussels sprouts were both and packed with flavor. And then there was the Filthy Dirty Rich Martini with caviar-stuffed olives --AMAZING. Easily one of the highlights of the night and something I would absolutely order again. Overall, 19 Raw nails the ambiance, cocktails, appetizers, and service. The appetizers in particular showed just how good the kitchen can be, which made the disappointing entrées even more surprising. I'd come back, but next time I might stick to cocktails, appetizers, and small plates.

The restaurant is a beautiful, elegant but cozy spot. The outdoor seating is absolutely beautiful for a nice evening. We were there right at opening and were seated outside fairly quickly! Our waiter was welcoming and pleasant. Wished me a happy birthday (multiple times) but nice. There was a cute birthday card at the table but nothing more (most high end establishments usually offer a glass of champs, but I digress ) The menu is moderate not overwhelming with too many options. How do you NOT start your meal with Oysters Rockefeller when they are on the menu? Great choice, they were creamy and delicious. I am typically not a pasta girl but something was calling me about the Mushroom Bolognese! So....I ordered it. Along with a glass of Filipa Pato, which was fabulous! The pasta was phenomenal and I don't use that word lightly, it was amazing. My friend ordered the Bobo's Two Pound Wok Fired Island Lobster and she loved it. She paired her meal with a Smokey old fashioned. No notes! So after a great meal we a bought the check and offer up two cards for our separate checks. Somehow our waiter ends up charging both checks to my credit card. I didn't realize it until the next day. How does that happen. An almost perfect review, but attention to detail matters. Would I return, absolutely! Go enjoy!
