Perfect local, service seems friendly - food was okay would have been better had they put the grits on at 6 am instead of when they are ordered. Should have guessed there might be an issue if there is an up charge for substituting grits for homesfries. Idk seems like a win - a box of grits cost $3 and the longer they sit the better they taste. Overall, the cheese wasn't super melty and stretchy as I anticipated. The batter was pretty tasty and made up for the stiffer cheese. The sauce was pretty standard. I was still satisfied, but it tasted like something I'd pull out of a freezer. Philly cheese: (4.5/5) This sub had such a good "homemade" taste. Meat was ever so slightly dry in certain areas, but was fine in others. Solid choice if you're feeling a good sandwich. Service: (5/5) The server seemed super genuine and she was one of the kindest people that has ever served us. She was very memorable. The breakfast burrito was super tasty (potatoes cooked perfectly) but was smaller than traditionally. This 50s style Diner on Main Street Edgartown is one of the better places I have had food at on the Vineyard. When we got there we were seated immediately and offered a drink before we place our orders. My waitress was pleasant and seems to be on top of things even though it was busy. I had the Southern Benny and my friend had an omelette. The Southern Benny was top notch in my book. We were checked on occasionally throughout our meal, which was good. While we were there for breakfast I realized that they had Jerk chicken on the dinner menu thus we return for dinner. Their Jerk chicken is definitely Authentic, one that brings your taste buds to the Caribbean. This should be one of your stops for good food while you are on Martha's Vineyard read more

Visiting Martha's Vineyard for a short vacation and with it being off season the dining choices are limited, but despite that we managed to find this place. Basic diner theme inside, great service and most of all the food was prepared perfectly. In addition to toast they offer corn bread, went with it and would highly recommend if you are a corn bread fan, it was delicious. My wife got eggs with spinach, brussel sprouts, asparagus and of course plenty of bacon, again delicious. We will be back next time, looking forward to it. read more
