Sam is amazing in every way! My Samsung laptop got all dinged up and the screen was coming out of its bevel. The corners of the lid were bent way out of shape and I wasn't sure anyone could fix it. This screen in particular is a touchscreen so it's hard enough to find people who can work on those without messing them up and even harder to find people who charge a decent price. I found Sam through a fun game of telephone tag to get ahold of the only guy in town trusted with touchscreen laptops and I am so happy I found him! His quote was extremely fair and the final price was exactly what he quoted me. He kept me up to date with everything going on with my laptop through every phase of the fix and gave me full, detailed explanations. He even went above and beyond and cleaned my fans and ports from years of dust buildups AND he fixed my buggy touchpad! My laptop looks brand new, especially compared to how it looked beforehand. Go here for data recovery! I was quoted close to $2,000 at datatech when my hard drive randomly crashed and I didn't have a recent backup. This was in Denver. My wife is from Fort Collins and a friend told us how honest Edge Computer was. I called them, and even though they couldn't provide me an exact quote, they gave me a range of pricing which was significantly cheaper. Turns out I was only charged $475-a massive saving over their competitor! They also explained the shenanigans that certain data recovery shops engage in-so I was more informed of what was happening. Needless to say when I found out my only back up external hard drive was no longer working (with years of pictures, work presentation etc.) I was deeply concerned and had a very sick feeling in my gut! Hoping I could find a timely and fairly inexpensive solution I researched tons of options online. I discovered most of the solutions I found had a minimum of a $600 price tag (up to $1500 or more) attached to it to recover my data. In addition, many of those companies had very mixed reviews and a long turn around time with it having to be shipped to a central location. When I found Edge in Fort Collins (local to me) I gave Sam a call and immediately was encouraged as I felt he really knew what he was doing, cared about my issue, and gave me a calm assurance that he could provide an excellent outcome to my data dilemma. I wasn't disappointed. The turn around time was only a few days (and though he couldn't promise it up front) ended up only being $375. These guys are incredibly quick with their work. I had stripped a couple screws in a few different laptops... aka VERY small screws. I took my laptop here after the hard drive crashed. But first, I took it to Best Buy. Best Buy told me that a new hard drive could not be installed in the computer and that I would need to purchase a new computer. The cloud back up that I was using did not back up all of the information that I needed.
