I took my laptop into Rod (or Ron I'm not sure) yesterday as a walk in. He was so great to work with. He walked me through the process and told me there were no guarantees but there was a very reasonable fee to run some diagnostic steps on my laptop. Within 15 min minutes he had it up and running (it wouldn't initially turn on) and cleaned out the fan. He really was a life saver as I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new laptop yesterday. I really appreciate his step by step approach and explanations as he stepped through them with me. I would highly recommend there company! read more

My parents (older and computer illiterate) visited PC & Parts for MacBook repair. A few screws had fallen out. PC & Parts told my parents that the battery was swelling and said "You're lucky the battery didn't blow up in your face!". Needing a battery replacement is one thing. OK. But eliciting fear in old people is a disgusting sales tactic. They were charged around $150. For a battery that costs $50 online and a "service" of replacing the battery that can be done in 10 minutes. It's quite pompous to think your "technicians" are worth $600 an hour. This store will fleece your loved ones, use scare tactics to extract as much money as they can, and generally overcharge for services. I left a message with the store to talk to the owner or manager, but they've decided not to call me back. So here I am leaving a review. Fear tactics, overpriced, uncommunicative. read more

My old laptop was a wreck, so i bought one of their used machines and it worked really well for nine months. I ran into a series of cascading problems that my efforts created a dead screen. My backup didn't work. They fixed the computer, reinstalled all my data and upped system from 10 to 11. Fixed in four hours at a reasonable cost. read more

Absolutely hands down the most professional and friendly computer shop in town. I've used PCs & Parts on several occasions and the quality of service overall is fantastic. It's great to actually talk with one person (which is the same person) that will repair my computer instead of leaving with a representative at a counter and hoping for the best. On my most recent visit to the shop the owner actually looked at my issue and corrected the problem while I watched and waited! Fantastic and unbelievable service! This is a nice little store with fairly knowledgeable employees that are super willing to help you. Customer service is great. If they don't have a part in the store, they can get it for you in a couple of days. We are happy with the store for those reasons. However, The owner has chosen not to ask his customers to wear masks when inside the store. There are also no social distancing or other safety measures set up for employees or customers. Employees are wearing masks, but the owner/manager (older guy who works there) frequently removes his mask to talk to people. (Uh, that defeats the purpose.) I feel badly for their younger employees who are clearly nervous around all the older people who don't think they need to wear masks because it's their "constitutional right". I came in today because my computer was doing weird things and I thought I had a virus. PC and Parts realized quickly that it was just a problem with an update. They updated the computer and it was back to working correctly in minutes. They didn't charge me for the fix. They are honest and good to their customers. I will use them for all future needs. They are straight forward and let you know up front the cost of the work being done. They are also extremely reasonable with their pricing. I took my $1200 gaming laptop in because it was making a loud vibrating noise that was just getting worse. I thought it was quite possibly the death of the computer, but an employee diagnosed my problem as a dying fan within a minute of seeing my laptop and hearing my story. They were able to order a replacement fan and install it for around $65 and the whole ordeal only took from the Friday I dropped off the laptop to the following Tuesday. They were very straightforward and got the go ahead from me for every additional cost fixing my laptop would require. No surprises. This is a responsible, trustworthy place to get your computer fixed. I am so grateful that they saved me from dropping $1500 for a replacement laptop all over an easily-replaced, dead fan. I hate to rate them so low because they really are the nicest guys. Very warm and accommodating. Was having PC dead locks and freezes affecting me and my business. Took it in and they couldn't pin point the issue, fixed a few "corruptions" they found and ran some stress tests. I hoped it would do the trick since I paid them for their time. Came home, did stress tests of my own, and after only 2 hours the PC locked up and froze again. So money wasted when they did literally nothing. :-/ read more

I took a lap top in for repair. I was quoted $80-$100. Great. After almost a week with no communication I got a voicemail that my machine was ready. When I went to pick up they rang me up for $211!! more than double what I was quoted! The tech (I believe hes the owner) ran through what they had done and explained the charges. But I was never contacted to approve any extra work or cost. Now I am stuck. The work is done, and I had to empty my checking account to pay for it.. I called All in One and spoke to a fellow about my laptop. My plug in my laptop was not charging anymore, but it's my business laptop and I HAD to get it done immediately. The guy I spoke to told me to come on down, but when I did, he told me that he had to take it for the weekend, and might not get a chance to look at it for Days!! I was pissed he called me down there, just to walk out the door with my problem. Then, I went to PCs & Parts, where James proceeded to take my laptop apart right in front of me, and fixed it (temporary fix) so I could still use it. He then ordered the part I need to fix it, and told me once they get it, it would only take a few minutes to install it. So, needless to say, I will be doing All of my business here from now on!! James was very skilled and knew exactly what he was doing. It was a lot cheaper to fix than I thought, and he worked hard to make sure I could keep charging my laptop until the part came in! they are incompetent! use at your own risk! i took in a brand new pc to have a ssd installed and windows installed. they scuffed up my brand new pc and windows doesnt work. the owner has vision problems and could not even see the scuff marks. now i have a brand new very expensive hp i7 that is scuffed and not working. i am going to take it to best buy, my first thought. i am sure they have well trained techs that use caution not to ruin someones new computer case and they test the machine before sending it home. UPDATE: THEY DID NOT DOWNLOAD ANY DRIVERS OR SOFTWARE. THEY CLAIMED THAT THE THUMBDRIVE I BROUGHT THEM ONLY HAD WINDOWS HOME EDITION. I JUST SPENT 4 HOURS RELOADING WINDOWS PRO EDITION FROM THE THUMBDRIVE AND UPDATING SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS. INCOMPETENT! read more

I am a "baby boomer", retired and while I am comfortable with computers, I know I need some help when it comes to anything more than just using them. The best way to learn about a company is when things don't go quite right. I took my laptop in to get a bigger hard drive. When I got it home, there were problems with the new drive - not the actual drive - but the system was unstable and culminated in a blue screen of death. Yikes! ..... Long story short, I took it back in hoping that I wouldn't have an argument on my hands about whether I needed to pay more than the initial agreed upon amount to get a drive...especially when I learned of the many, many hours and troubleshooting that it took for them to fix it. (The cause was a very quirky reason too long to explain.) One of the owners even came in on Labor Day to check on the progress of ghosting my machine and I'm sure ended up spending at least another hour working on it instead of spending the day with his family. ..... When I went to pick it up, I was so pleased that they stood by their initial charges, I could have cried from relief. Best of all, my computer is working great. I highly recommend these guys. ..... By the way, they were much less than their local competitors in their initial quote. I was shocked what some of their competitors were charging for the same service. There was such a difference, I wouldn't have been able to afford to get my computer fixed. ----- So check them out. They really do stand by their work. read more

The screws inside my laptop had broken, and one of the hinges had become completely unhinged from my computer. I had taken it to another place, All-In-One Computer Services, but they kept it for a week, kept me in the dark, and wanted me to pay an arm and a leg to fix it. Then I went to PCs and Parts. They had it done in less than a day, and the hinge works perfectly! Not to mention the value-- these people know what they are doing and they do it for a fair price. I highly, highly recommend PCs and Parts. Don't make the same mistake that I did and let another shop mess around with your computer. PCs and Parts is an amazing value with a knowledgeable staff, not to mention that they are very kind and inviting.
