This is actually for the Charlotte location. I didn't see the Charlotte on the list of locations for yelp. But... This location has some very nice and informative people. The water, drying and vacuum pressure is really good and no charge for use of towels and cleaning products. I will be signing up for their wash club. Highly recommend. Ps I'm from Chicago where touchless/brushless car washes are available and they have an option where I can request the brushes to be turned off. Love it! read more

We were one of their original clients at the Concord location near Concord Mills but it looks like they SOLD OUT to a greedy chain. Instead of $8 for a basic car wash it is now $18!!! And that doesn't even get the tire shine. It's now $12 for basic water running over your vehicle but if you ACTUALLY want soap it's $18/wash. The text on the screen is SO SMALL that you THINK you are getting tire shine but what it ACTUALLY says is "tire SOAK" whatever the F that may be different than the soaking they normally get when they simply roll through I could not tell you nor could anyone on sight. In short, they are WAY over priced! Go to AutoBell or other more reputable car wash locations. I did say something to the attendant on duty but he pointed out that it was SOAK instead of shine. TRUCK DAMAGED!~ I have the monthly membership, been washing car there for the pas 4 + years, new owners do not maintain equipment or place anymore, about 10 days ago took my beautiful well maintained truck and while it was inside I hear multiple loud noises and bangs! Went home, then next morning saw multiple dents on the hood, roof, roof caved in, roof is so dented that at the edge of the moonroof I can see out and water comes in, long story short = $4500 in damages! Went to car wash they would not look up video tape, luckily I have a dash cam in my truck where the damage can clearly be heard when I filed a report with them, their company that handles their claims accepted liability after they saw their top secret video of the event! Terrible!!! My car was damaged due to Take 5 Car Wash equipment malfunction. While it is understandable that mishaps happen, the failure to rinse soap from my vehicle for over 45 minutes and a lack of urgency to repair the damage my vehicle sustained is beyond my comprehension. I'm highly disappointed in the treatment I have received. Especially since I was a loyal customer of this car wash for years, even during the multiple name changes. I understand the equipment breaking but the employees are not supplying clean wipe down towels and winder which is simple items. I am a monthly payer of their fees. Never been here before - paid $20 for a basic car wash. It was awful. Pulled out of the wash and there were soap suds all over my car and the roof, which was the reason I wanted it washed, was still filthy as if it hadn't been touched. Complete waste of time and money. Customer service not up to par! This afternoon I attempted to stop through to run my car through the car wash. I knew that my new credit card needed to be uploaded. However, for the first time ever, I was instructed to go park my car and come in. I've never been asked to do that. I told him I'd come back later because I didn't have time to get out and do that. Furthermore, I explained to him, usually the gentlemen in the past would run it down to their register to upload the information and bring it back. He said "Ok" and returned to surfing on his phone, which was a distraction in the first place when I initially pulled up for service. Let me explain why him assisting was imperative. I had my autistic son in the backseat of my car, and I really can't be too far from him. Edge carwash has change ownership to take5carwash owned by International Carwash Group. Better business bureau rates this company an "F" with numerous complaints claiming the same issue. I noticed quality had significantly decreased, however, I couldn't cancel over the phone as their number was changed and not posted. When I went in person after multiple attempts to contact them, they told me they were take5carwash now and had to request the cancellation online. Submitted the cancellation and after a lot of back and forth they said it was cancelled. However, as suspected alas it was not, and I was charged again. When I disputed it, they said I had to cancel 7 day prior to the charge. I explained how difficult it was to even learn the ownership had changed as all the signage still says Edge and the phone number had changed. Received and immediate response saying my refund was denied. They took almost 2 weeks to reply to the initial cancellation request so the card had be charged in the meantime. This business practice seems shady and pretty desperate for $30. Buyer beware. DO NOT TRUST, do not use. Since the take over this car wash has been trash. Every time I've come in to inquire about different things I noticed it's not included in my car wash any longer. I get different answers the machine isn't working the car washhes been broken and just got fixed. But today the manager told me my plan had been switched why I don't know because I did not switch it I can't switch it unless I go to the car wash. But when I asked for the service that I noticed that was not included, The manager pointed to a basket on the desk and told me to go put it on myself. The corporate office is no better when I call to complain they had no concern about what was going on at that site on Derita rd. I'm headed to Sam's Mart. DO NOT GO HERE! The location by the Walmart on Independence is a total scammer. They probably all are. I saw the same complaint about another location on Facebook. They will tell you they need to go inside to print your receipt and then sign you up for the monthly service without your knowledge or consent. Billing system is a nightmare. I was double-billed and when speaking with both store and district managers, it still was an error and (for a second time) was asked if I wanted to re-sign up. Damage to my 2019 Toyota, the pictures speak for themselves. Perfectly smooth on both sides of car, in same spot. I'm 99.9% sure the brushes in this car wash created damage. The staff actually accused me of hitting a curb perfectly on both sides!!!...What a joke!!!...I would not take a nice vehicle through this facility!!! read more

We paid $8 for the basic ride through and the car looks great. They had a self serve vacuum station after that was included.

Super friendly staff, but, most importantly, AMAZING tunnel wash with "lava foam" that kept the kids entertained during the ride through. My personal favorite is the self vacuum. My biggest complaint with other washes is the lack of detail when it comes to vacuuming. Being able to do it on my own and to my standards is a game changer. I definitely felt as if I was getting more than my money's worth, especially with the free hand towels to use as well. I plan on ONLY using Edge Express for my future car wash needs. Car wash avoids any repairs. I have been going for a few months here and always give benefit of the doubt when things are broken but still haven't attempted to fix anything. Half of the vacuums have no suction due to them all having holes. Car mat washing machine has never been functional. Wash isn't bad but don't go there for anything other than getting the outside washed. read more

Edge Express is the best tunnel car wash. It is very user friendly to get started (no contact during Covid is an added benefit!) I love that you don't have to get out of the car and the wash is fun entertainment for the kids! My car and tires shine for a week after I get a wash there. As a mother of 2 young children and a dog, I really like doing the vacuuming myself. I know exactly where the crumbs are hiding and where the finger prints and dog nose smudges are on the windows. read more
