We came to Edge one year ago after researching/evaluating gyms for six months, including going to meets to see how the coaches perform and interact with the girls. We chose Edge because of their positive coaching/discipline and haven't regretted our decision! Our daughter was in a recreational program through a well-known franchise but was showing potential and had taken hold of the sport. After seeing the Edge coaches and girls at a couple of meets, we asked for an evaluation. Our daughter was placed in a developmental class and also participates in a conditioning program and private lessons. We could not be happier with the program at Edge. They promote a healthy lifestyle - you will see gymnasts of all sizes but certainly none who are undernourished. Coaches take a genuine interest in the well-being of your child. The use top-notch instructors at all levels, as well as use experienced older teens in the program to serve as role models/instructors for the younger kids. Our daughter has advanced at a rate appropriate for her skill level, as we have observed with all the levels/programs at Edge. Although everyone would love to see their child move up and/or compete, doing so before he/she is ready is unsafe and can take away the love of the sport. You have to trust your coaches as professionals to know when your child is ready. Our daughter loves her coaches. She is at the gym 3 days a week and wouldn't miss it for the world. She has the dream of being in the Olympics one day - with the her determination and the coaches at Edge, she is well on her way! Thank you, Edge!!! read more

My daughter loves to attend her weekly classes here. However we are strongly considering to remove her due to their policies around make up. My daughter was unable to attend for two sessions and the only makeups are weekdays during school hours. This isn't very supportive for kids who go to school. They do have a Saturday open gym time which is great but only once a month. So I'm really conflicted of what to do since open gym in general is not an actual class. read more

Poor management and operations. We have supported this place by placing my 2 girls through various programs for 3 years while gingerly maneuvering their poor management and attitudes. My final take away is they just want your money and don't care about the kids. Shame. read more

Our daughter has been taking classes at Edge for years. She loves Edge Gymnastics. Facility is top notch and the teachers are wonderful.

This facility doesn't even deserve one star! Don't bring your kids here b/c they will rip you off and if your kid has had prior training the 'trainer' Lindsey will place your kid right in BEGINNERS anyway claiming that the cartwheels and handstands need to be 'straight' but when the kids are placed in this HIGH EXPECTATION class all you see them do is basically nothing! NO CARTWHEELS NO HANDSTANDS Even though I complained, I was supposed to get a call back from Lindsey to discuss this matter, but no call (wasn't surprised). So if you want to waste your $$$$ (and it's NOT cheap) especially for what they promise you... I suggest you find a better facility and not waste your time or $$$ read more

We came for open gym (Fridays 11-12) & were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly & really into the kids. The place was huge for my toddler & he ran himself exhausted (bonus for Mom). There is a big foam pit, a rope swing that kids can jump into the pit from, trampolines kids can run & jump on, ropes for jumping rope, frogs for counting & cuddleing, stars w/ numbers to practice counting & rings. In addition there is all the regular gymnastic stuff you expect to see. I am tempted to sign up for classes! read more

Great little Gym for your toddlers. Started with the 2 yr old class which needs adult supervision and my son loved it! Joined the 3 yr old class which does not require an adult. Great props that make the kids engaged and patient instructors to guide them! Equipment in the gym are well maintained and safe! read more

Some friends referred us here and we love it. There are real professionals here but the kiddos still have fun. Some families and instructors take it a little too seriously but I am glad that people who want their kid to really compete have a place to do so. They seem concerned about safety and give a lot of competitive insight and real coaching for those looking for that kind of thing. The foam pit is awesome as well! read more

Awesome place for toddlers and kids. The facility is amazing, the teachers are both caring and good. My daughter has dramatically improved balance, coordination, strength and agility. She also loves going to class. The open gyms they host are a great way to burn some energy and get a feel for the place. We love edge!!! read more

Very disappointed. We attended a trial so our daughters can be placed in the correct level & age groups. But this place lacks organization and structure. Not many experienced instructors. At the end of class, we were not given any feedback regards level and were told teacher assigned needed to pay more attention to our kids at next trail...Also there were many young teenage instructor which all seem not confident teaching. There were few other folks that had same experience in same class. Nice facility though. read more

Place is as good as its coaches. If you get a good coach it will work great if not good luck as it will be a waste of time and money. Wait it's not over yet.. they can change your coaches anytime with minimum notice. There won't be any credit back or refunds, so if your time options are limited, think again as you might end up with not so great coaches. read more

We love that Edge has classes for all ages. We have been happy with our child's progress and her gymnastics ability. We have been lucky to have Miss Cyndy, Mr. AJ, and Miss Beth whom are all great gymnastics teachers for the little ones! I would recommend Edge gymnastics to you:) read more

I've been bringing my daughter here since she was one and have done many classes over the years. We've just had the WORST experience ever in a sports and/or teaching environment here, and we are active in many local sports and go to a private school in the area. My daughter turned 5 this year and was moved on from the 4 year old class, which is a huge jump physically, emotionally and more challenging. I asked her new teacher Beth to help her since she was getting more and more frustrated each class time that she couldn't do the exercises. If she was not ready for the jump in class, it's the teachers job to notify the parent and put her back into the 4 year old class. Instead of helping her, she ignored her and now my daughter HATES gymnastics and never wants to go back there again. It's so heartbreaking as a parent that a place she practically went to every week for years is now a place of dread, failure, fear and negativity. Beth is not a good role model or coach for young preschoolers, that was obvious everyday. She never showed enthusiasm or love for the kids. A good teacher embraces and knows that all kids with different personalities learn differently and some need more guidance than others and has the right skills necessary to teach. She bullied my daughter and ostracized her into feeling like she can't do anything now and never wants to do gymnastics again. Beth may be good with older kids but she was horrific with my kid and I just hope my daughter will forget about this horrible teacher and experience to move on elsewhere. While my kid is not perfect, I watched one class closely and Beth was having the 5 year olds do backwards somersaults on a mat while she was helping kids do hand stands. Not one kid could do the backwards somersaults and I listened to my daughter cry out in frustration that she couldn't do it and Beth IGNORED her. After witnessing that, she is not a person I want around my child ever again and it's borderline neglect and thankfully she did not get injured attempting it. My only regret was not pulling her out sooner to avoid all the heartache and pain she's caused my daughter. It didn't feel like Edge management understood how much of an impact that their instructors have on little children and how they can easily be affected either positively or negatively. In our case, it was negative and it is so sad. Hopefully they can get positive instructors who enjoy the younger kids like Ms. Cindy, who is a great example of how it should be. Yes I did talk to many members of staff, all talks that I initiated and/or called them myself because of my concerns. Never did they come talk to me. read more

NO make-up policy... Really frustrated by the fact that there is pretty much no make-up policy. First, you can only do make-ups once a month, with only one time option. But more importantly, it is just open gym, not the class you paid $20 for. Kids get sick, you go on trips etc... SO you end up paying much more that you think for the classes. Just from the occasional open gym hour attendant perspective, it's pretty nice! Large facility, attentive/friendly staff, and fun equipment. I schedule playgroup meetups with my IHMC subgroup during their Friday open gym hour. Kids 5 & under run amuck and use all the equipment for $8 per kid. It's a great way to tire them out before lunch, especially during the summer. They also have an open gym time for older kids...info on their website. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My son is two years old and has a crazy amount of energy, so we come here for open gym time. This place is amazing and so are the employees. They are there to monitor and make sure everyone stays safe, but also allow the children to have fun and PLAY! It's not crazy structured, which we appreciate. Common sense is used appropriately and the kiddos are free to play as they please as long as they take turns when necessary ...They are allowed to use almost all of the equipment which makes open gym that much more fun. Lots of trampolines, a huge foam pit, tons of bars to hang from to build that upper body strength, and the "baby" section is huge and perfect for lots for crawlers and early walkers to have fun as well. We are here on a weekly basis and are so grateful for such a fun place to play, rain or shine :) read more

Edge is an excellent gym and the one my daughter used to go to, wasnt as good. She is now in level 5, skipped 4 and now training level 6! I would reccommend this gym to everyone who loves gymnastics!! read more

My 7 year old daughter has been taking classes at Edge since March 2019 and we have been very happy with our experience there! She has loved both instructors she has had, Nora for beginning gymnastics and AJ for advanced beginning. I have been really impressed with AJ, he makes sure the kids learn the skills correctly and yet is fun and playful with them. My 9 year old has been taking classes here for a few years and loving every minute of it. We have been happy with the staff, the pace of training, and the times classes are offered. And it's a pretty fun place for a birthday party if you have an active child. We are very casual gymnasts - not looking for a competitive path - just a place for our very flexible kid to learn some technique and safety tips as she bends, flips, jumps, climbs, and swings her way thru life. Occassionally I bring my daughter here for the open gym. She loves to jump and play around, so that is not the issue. My problem is that the facility is always dirty. Ever since we first came here (at least one and a half year) the back part of the gym seems more like a construction work place. Not even covered to protect children from hurting themselves. The whole place is always dusty and they don't vacuum regularly. Is it little effort to vacuum the floor frequently, especially when kids are rolling, running and jumping over the floor. I would give it more stars of the facility would be clean. read more

We love Edge! The gym is so open and clean, and the instructors are enthusiastic and experienced. This is our second year participating at this gym on a competitive level and we love it. We started at another gym when we moved out here last year and left after one month. Edge was much more the level of quality that we were used to at our previous gym that we competed with on the east coast. read more

We are pleased with this gym. We tried out a few of the other local gyms and this place seems to be the most competitive in the area. The coaches are knowledgeable and good w our girls. Like any good gym, we expect the coaches to be firm with the kids to help them grow. These coaches are definitely serious about their jobs and about getting the kids in shape to move them to the next levels. I can only talk from a Team parent perspective. Edge went way over my expectations of a Gym. The Coaches are very knowledgeable, caring, and take the girls where they need to be. The Gym is amazing. Equipment is top notch, everything is super clean, huge site, easy parking. Some girls from the optional team come from as far as over an hour drive just to be trained by this Coaches. This is a truly great place to have your kids do gymnastics and go as far as they want to with the sport. read more

Our 6 year old started three weeks ago and she likes it. I find that her class is too big not enough time for each student to do the activities that they are working on. Also, it's a tad too dirty for me, I mean, my daughter is running around in her bare feet, and I would at least like to have a clean floor for her to run around on. But her instructor is really sweet with the kids, keeps them structured, and it gives our daughter the gymnastics experience she and we wanted. read more

Edge Gymnastics is AMAZING! My kids have participated in many group classes and Edge is by far the most professional, nurturing, and fun environment. My kids have had amazing coaches and have improved greatly during their time here. Edge has a huge focus on safety and truly care for the development of the children. My 6 year old has been taking at Edge for two sessions. We like the big gym atmosphere and helpful receptionists. We really do not like that with such high prices the only make up option is the open gym. Also, it seems like a pretty slow moving class most of the time; our daughter does more standing around than gymnastics. We also wish they would start a Mondays or Tuesdays 2:30 class since Dublin Schools are out at 2:06 those days. read more

I have been taking my kids to Edge for about 1.5 years or so. The teachers were always great and my kids loved the classes. For this session I had to switch my son to Boys beginner because he turned 6, and my daughter wanted to try Tumbling. It was disappointing to experience the following: - For my sons class: the teacher was unable to control the class of 8 boys. It appeared that she was crowd controlling for most of the hour. She also failed to show the kids how to do the moves. Example: The kids were not shown how to do a hand stand. She told them what to do but did not show them. My son kept trying to get her attention to get help and she ignored him. - For tumbling: the Teacher seemed annoyed to be there. She did not smile to the kids or have any interest to be there. It took her more then 20 minutes to get the kids going with an activity. For the first 20 minutes she was staring at her clip board trying to figure out what to do and how to set up the obstacles for them. I told the front right away that these teachers are overwhelmed and not properly teaching the children. The manager, Cindy, said she could give a refund but would charge for the first class as well as a $25 cancellation fee. In my opinion the cancellation fee makes sense if it was my choice to leave the class. But in this case I feel it is not warranted to pay $65 ( $20/class/kid and for the $25 fee) since it is not my fault that the teachers are not good. I would no longer recommend this training center. I would warn parents to get a trial class or make 100% sure that the teachers are qualified. Just because a teacher is a gymnast herself does not mean they are qualified to teach children. Also, yes, everyone has different teaching styles, but, no, it's not ok to be a beginner with no physical examples or just sitting around staring at a clip board. read more

Service is fine, but non-members BEWARE! My kids and I attended a child's birthday party at The Edge. At this party, Alyssa was one of the party assistants. My daughter had so much fun, she wanted to have her birthday at The Edge as well. When I told my friend this, she said Alyssa is one of the best assistants because of her great interaction with kids. So, I did book my daughter's birthday there (booked it 2 months before her birthday). At the time of booking, I requested Alyssa work the party, and, because of our experience with her before, I saw for myself how engaging she is with young children - really caring and involved. I was told Alyssa was available, and that I should expect someone from The Edge to call me the week of the party to confirm all the details. When that call came, I was then told that Alyssa was no longer available to work my child's birthday and that she was in fact "not available at all that weekend". At my daughter's party on Saturday, the two women who assisted (Britney & Lauren) were fine. No big complaints. By sheer coincidence, my kids and I were at The Edge the very next day, for another child's party, and who should be assisting that party but Alyssa! Yes, the same Alyssa I was told was "not available at all that weekend"! I have to admit I felt disillusioned, saddened and angry that I was in essence lied to. I would have been much more understanding if I had been told Alyssa would not be working my child's party, but to be told she was "not available at all that weekend" and then see her the very next day angered me enough to make me write a review. My child is not a member of The Edge, but the child who had a party the next day after ours is a member. Thus, I have to conclude that this facility treats non-members as second class citizens. The Edge should look into better training/coaching of their staff in how to interact with clients. I think that would have avoided the situation I experienced. ETA: The Edge called to get feedback regarding our experience with them as party facilitators and I complimented our assistants but but frank about my disillusionment over the Alyssa situation. I was told The Edge was short staffed on Sunday and Alyssa was pulled in to work the Sunday party even though she wasn't supposed to. That doesn't completely mollify me, but The Edge did profusely apologize. read more

My 10 year old daughter has been attending Edge for 1.5 years. Our favorite teachers are Christine, Brandon and Chey. Apart from the uncomfortable seating and the sometimes apathetic service from the people in reception, this is a GREAT place for your child to get some true gymnastic skills. We came over from SRVDA and it was like night and day (they have since retired their gym program and focus on dance only, which I would recommend them highly for). Great place. The only negative is they do not have A/C. They do have wi fi so it makes my wait more pleasurable. Class times are fairly good and my daughter loves most of the teachers. I don't know much about gymnastics but my daughter is having fun and wants to keep taking classes. read more

My 7 yo daughter has been attending Edge for a year now. Miss Kara and Mr AJ are wonderful teachers. The ladies at the desk are very pleasant and informative. There's plenty of seating and parking is ok. I'm not a big fan of the bathroom but I rarely use it. Overall, we've had a good experiece! read more

Pros! - Great teachers and very friendly atmosphere - Well established girls artistic and acrobatic teams - Most likely the best facility all around, huge inside with lot's of seating areas for parents and most importantly you can observe your kids training at any time - Easy access from 580 & 680 - Summer / spring camps to keep your kids busy during school breaks - My kids love open gym sessions on Friday (often offered as a makeup class) Cons? - Looks like it's girls only teams at this moment, not many classes for boys and no equipment for advanced level boys? read more

My 6 year old has been coming here for about 4 months and so far I'm happy. In the beginning her first teacher would just play with her hair and chat, but I haven't seen her again. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. A/C would have given this 5 stars. Happy, and will continue to come =) read more

Had a great experience with Edge Gymnastics. We celebrated our 6 year old daughter's birthday with 25 of her friends and cousins and it was a huge hit! The staff was fantastic, very understanding and so much fun! Highly recommend. read more
