We ended up getting a new toilet, it was installed & ready to use the same day. And this all happened on the same day of appointment of our appointment!! Dylan & Kade were both friendly, professional, very thorough besides being neat & tidy!! Definitely recommend Summers Plumbing & will have them do our plumbing when needed in the future!

They failed to provide any confirmation or follow-up with me and even took the liberty of changing their appointment times without consulting me, claiming it was not their responsibility to inform. I called this company on May 22nd at 2 p.m. to confirm my appointment, as American Home Service was showing me a different time window for the scheduled service. However, obviously, 2 p.m. must be considered "night time" to these guys. I strongly advise against recommending this company to anyone. In my opinion, they are quite possibly the worst plumbing company I have ever encountered. The guy with whom I spoke on the phone was extremely rude, verbally aggressive, and inappropriate. Once I told him that I would like to do my business with them, he said, "Yeah, you would not have been satisfied by us anyway." He never offered to reschedule, and there was no apology. He's just insanely rude. Also, they falsely accused us of not being at home, which was not the case. They had my phone number, and they definitely should have called me. However, no phone call was made to me about this scheduled appointment. You guys did NOT ring the doorbell for 20 minutes. What a joke. You left the house 5 minutes after your arrival, and it was recorded by my security camera. You need to stop making a false statement and be honest for God's sake. Instead of making excuses over and over again, it would have been more appropriate for this guy to offer me a sincere apology. If this job does not work out for you, you may want to consider closing down your business or finding something else. You should be ashamed of yourself and need to work on your attitude. What a trash company.

Ineffective Service, Exorbitant Charge for Nothing, and Management Ignores Customers…read more I regret calling Raptor Rooter & Plumbing LLC for a serious plumbing issue in mid-November 2025. Water was backing up from a basement floor drain in my South Hill Spokane home, creating a messy and urgent situation. Technician Brandon arrived and, after I described the recurring problem in detail, tested the drain by running water. He then briefly ran a cable snake only about 2 feet into the drain and stopped. He provided no diagnosis, no explanation for the backup, and admitted he didn't have a camera scope on hand--which likely would have revealed the root cause. After roughly 45 minutes, he left without resolving anything. I was shocked to be billed $462 for this unproductive visit. Hoping for some accountability, I left a message two days later for General Manager Chris, asking him to call me about Brandon's service. It's now January 7, 2026--nearly two months later--and Chris has never bothered to return my call, showing a complete lack of integrity or concern for customer satisfaction. Fortunately, I found a reputable plumbing company in the area. Their general manager and team were responsive, thorough, and fixed the problem permanently. Raptor Rooter's work was inadequate, their follow-through appalling, and their overall integrity horrendous. Save yourself the frustration and money--I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE for work beyond attaching a garden hose.

On top of ruining my yard, took boulders without permission when asked to leave them in the morning, but Chris will try to make you think he did you a favor. Wish I listened to the one star review. Kalin Excavating is beyond incredible and I would give them 100 gold stars if I could!…read more I plan to add a 400 SF raised concrete patio to the back of the house. I spoke with the Spokane Building Department engineers (in City Hall) and they recommended either replacing (with cast iron) or re-routing my PVC sewer line because of the shallow depth. They didn't think the sewer pipe could handle the load from the concrete. Time to call excavators! I had the pleasure of meeting with Chris Kalin. He is extremely knowledgeable, articulate, and incredibly polished for a man in his 30s. He has had many years of experience in his family's excavation business and now manages operations. Chris quickly determined that my existing sewer pipe was likely to tolerate the load, but said that if it did crack or even collapse (the latter is unlikely), he could replace it with a thick-walled HDPE pipe using a trenchless technique. I was concerned about limited future access to my sewer pipe due to hardscape features, but he said they would simply hand-dig down to my sewer line to avoid damage. If it would give me peace of mind, he was more than willing to do the work now. The ballpark estimate was $7-8K. But he emphasized that he didn't think that 'preventative' pipe replacement was necessary. Chris Kalin chose to prioritize MY best interest over scheduling a $7-8K job. (I was operating with the believe that replacing my sewer pipe was necessary and I would not have been any wiser without the education that he provided.) THIS demonstrates his honesty and integrity. But this wasn't the end of our meeting! Our conversation continued for another 45-minutes. He educated me about the drainage system for my abandoned septic tank, the history of sewer lines (in the 1800s they were made of wood and he had a sample!), and the details of the trenchless technique. He showed me a sample of the thick-walled HDPE pipe that he could install in the future, if necessary. He also has concrete experience, so we discussed the challenges that my raised concrete patio poses and the specifics of how to mitigate these challenges. And, he gave me a couple of recommendations. Of all the folks that I have spoken with regarding my project (including the city engineers), he was, by far, the most knowledgeable AND the most willing to provide me with in-depth education. Chris lived up to the Kalin promise . . . I received an expert who was deeply passionate about his work and delivered top-tier service even when he had nothing to gain in this moment. I asked for his business card, but he needed to restock his truck. He promised to drive over the following day and deliver one and he kept his word. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Honestly, he is the kind of person I would welcome as a friend. He is just that awesome. If I have ANY future sewer needs, I am not bothering with other companies. I want someone whom I can trust. I am only calling Kalin.
