Graham from Milligan's helped me out of a jam. He was all the way in Round Rock and came to South Austin to tow me out of a muddy parking lot. He knew details about my car and how to pull it out without damaging anything. He even called me after he had towed me out and had driven away to make a couple suggestions to prevent damage to my car that certainly would have occurred. And the ones that did end up sending a quote were estimating the repair to cost at least $2000 just from a visual inspection and would have required an appointment and for my car to remain with them for several days. Smiles Autobody was quick to respond, willing to look at the car and give me a quote same day within an hour of reaching out to them. When I arrived, they were friendly to talk to, understanding of the situation, and were willing and able to complete the work that day. They worked quickly and efficiently and walked me through what was going on and they made sure to update me with anything that came up while they were working. I valued their communication since sometimes it feels like companies want to hide what they're doing behind closed doors, especially when it comes to female patrons. The repair ended up being far cheaper than any of the quotes I received from other companies and was completed before the other shops had finished writing up their quotes. The owner Bobby denied that he or his team didn't leave my truck like that, knowing dam well they did. On 6/19/26 I came in to get a refund/bolts and he denied the refund saying he didn't leave my vehicle incomplete and basically said the job was done properly. After he denied my refund he only handed me 4 bolts when I told him im missing 6 of them. I have pictures and videos of the missing bolts. Now taking it to a professional mechanic Im missing more than just bell housing bolts and come to find out again they used the wrong bolts for the transmission which caused 2 bolts to break and needs to be extracted. They said they'll replace all the bolts im missing but wont extract anything. Now they're ignoring me for asking why wont they extract anything bolts. Every time I called, I got a different story about where my car was or what I needed to do. On top of that, they had inconvenient hours and made it feel like I was the problem for trying to pick up my own vehicle. There was zero sense of urgency from their side, and the whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional. What should've been something quick and simple turned into a stressful, time-consuming ordeal. I wouldn't trust them again and definitely wouldn't recommend dealing with them if you can avoid it.
