No dry cleaner does the kinds of things they did when I was a kid. However, as dry cleaners go, we've found Edgemont to be the best of the batch in this area. We've tried a number of them over the last 25 years we've lived in Orem. I've had them starch and clean all my shirts for many years. They've done our dry cleaning since the picture of Marie Osmond wasn't faded. When I was a young teenager I worked at a dry cleaner as a part time job on the weekends. We really checked all the pockets, sprayed special spot remover and "pre-wash" as needed. Nobody does that anymore. However, we have every right to expect clothes to be properly cleaned and pressed. The WORST dry cleaning experience I've ever had!!! I went in last Wednesday--She gave me a ticket to come in Monday after 6pm--I came in Tuesday at 12pm. I waited 25 minutes while they scrambled to find my clothes. They couldn't!! I noticed in the corner of my eye, my clothes bundled up in a pile on a dirty counter and my dress on the floor...! I would've taken the items right then but 1) They make you pay before the service, so I already paid 2) My husband needed his suit dry cleaned for an interview in the morning and they promised to have it done by closing time. When picking up the items I asked for credit or a partial refund because of the inconvenience. The woman full on YELLED at me making multiple excuses and refusing any type of compensation. WARNING: THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF! Worst service ever in every way. Suits didn't get cleaned. They snagged a dress badly and said it wasn't there. And then she yelled at me for complaining. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company because it cost me money in tailoring and re-cleaning to use this place. Stay away. read more

I used Edgemont several times before I stopped going. The only reason I switched is because the last two times I handed them a coupon for their store, they did not apply it. I didn't notice it until I was home and looked at the receipt. It's just so frustrating because it should not be up to me to babysit this. If I hand over a coupon and they ring up the transaction right away, I do not see how this can be forgotten when it's right in your hand...especially when I always prepay. Aside from that they actually do a great job of cleaning. It is expensive but that is only because of the technique used...which I do appreciate since the clothes don't end up with a chemical smell on them. read more

Totally dishonest cleaners. I took in a large lambskin rug to be dry cleaned by them. When I came to pick it up it was in 2 pieces! It was clearly ripped down the middle. When I asked what had happened they said I must have brought them a cheap rug and that's why it ripped during the dry cleaning process. I can assure you this was not a cheap rug. I was upset it was ripped in two, but even more upset that they didn't call to apologize or let me know what had happened prior to my arrival. They still demanded payment for me to pick it up after they had totally ruined it. Avoid this place at all costs. Plus the inside of their shop is dingy and smells disgusting. Took my daughter's 100% polyester "dry clean only" faux fur coat in to be cleaned. Seemed nice enough and wasn't too pricey (I don't really use dry cleaners very much...), but when I got home and took it out of the bag, it looked like it hadn't even been touched! The stains were still there (washable elementary school paint), and parts of the "fur" were still stiff feeling from the dried paint. Decided I'd try to get the stains out myself, then when I was turning it inside out I found a nasty old tennis ball covered in human hair stuck inside one of the sleeves?! I'm now planning on taking it back to see what the hell happened, but after reading other reviews, I'm not optimistic that they'll do anything to rectify the situation. My husband had been a customer at this cleaners for years because he liked the cheap prices. Because the store was dirty and the couple who owned it were rude and their work was shoddy I refused to go there. Unfortunately, last month my husband took my Talbot's pant suit in to be cleaned. When he brought it home it had two, light streaks on the left jacket sleeve. I took it in that evening and showed them the streaks. The husband and wife who own the store absolutely refused to take any responsibility. Suddenly their command of English was worse and they pretended not to understand me. Then, they were prepared with numerous excuses. #1, I was confused and was at the wrong cleaners, #2, I had ruined the jacket that day and #3, the woman actually ran outside to yell at me & tell to me my suit was new & they hadn't cleaned it because she couldn't see any staple holes in the tag. They did a really nice job on my suit and some ties, but I got socked a $10.75 "same day" charge because I needed my stuff the next day (24 hours.) That seemed exorbitant and unnecessary to me. I'll probably look for another supplier because of this. read more

Made a Assassins greed costume for my son. The thing cost me a lot of money. took it in the loosed the cuff to the costume. That thing had $50 in buttons on it. The guy was so rude about it and claimed I was accusing him of stealing. No!! not even the case I accused him of being unprofessional and unorganized. This place is a life saver. We flew into Utah on Friday for an engagement photo shoot on Sunday. We needed some items dry cleaned since they had been packed in our bags and wrinkled. Went to another "24 hour" service but in order to get the 24 hour we needed to drop them off around 9am. Worried we wouldn't be able to find anywhere, we called Edgemont. The woman on the phone said it would be no problem and to come in. Thank you so much Yi! Dropped our clothes off around 2:30pm and she said she would have them done in time for us. AMAZING!!! We are from out of state, came in for a wedding. My husband took his suit out of the bag and there was this nasty stain on the shoulder! We had no idea where it came from nor what it was (he had only work it 3 times) so frantically we are looking for a same day cleaners. We stop by edgemont and even though it was after the cut off for same day, my husband explained the situation and they offered to do it by end of day!!! Amazing service! We were sure the stain would not come out but thought maybe it would at least be better. We picked up the jacket that evening and the stain was GONE!!!! He is magical! I've tried every dry cleaner in Orem, it seems, and have liked working with Edgemont Cleaners the best. For me, they have always been personable and polite. My clothes are cleaned quickly and well. Once I forgot to pick up a jacket, and they worked with me to find it again, months later. I will keep taking my clothes there. read more

The rudest, most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a cleaner. They stained a brand-new shirt of mine with grease, and when I asked them to replace it, I was yelled at and told that I was a "bad customer." They finally offered to clean it again, and when I went back to pick it up, I was yelled at AGAIN. Do not give these people your business---there are too many other dry cleaners out there for these people to treat their customers this way. read more

I had to return 2 times to pick-up jeans I left to be sewn. The first time they couldn't find the jeans, the second time I waited 15 minutes until they found them under a pile. The repair job was very poorly done. Not impressed! read more
