They really went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect. This is an amazing place for golf lovers such a fun and unique setup, and all of our guests had the best time (even the non-golfers!). The whole vibe was warm and welcoming it honestly felt like we were hosting at home, but better. Highly recommend for events or even just a fun night out. We'll definitely be back!

There is no buffer time between reservations, which allows the business to run and honor the whole reservation time. Be respectful patrons! $60 for 1 Hour reservation UPDATED review with accurate timestamps provided by owner. We had a one-hour reservation scheduled for 8:00 PM and arrived on time. Unfortunately, the previous group did not vacate the bay until around 8:10 PM, and we did not get into the bay until 8:12 PM. We were then also set up and the group got drinks. Despite this delay, we were told during setup that we would still need to leave promptly at 9:00 PM due to another reservation. While we complied, it was frustrating to be rushed out when our reservation had already been cut short through no fault of our own. We were shortly told afterwards that the reservation afterwards would not be showing up and that we could stay the extra 10 minutes that was delayed at the beginning of our reservation. We accepted, but this was not the experience raced about by many others in the community. This experience wasn't about the money, but about fairness and professionalism. Reservations should be honored for their full duration, and customers shouldn't lose paid time due to scheduling issues. Given this experience, I'm hesitant to return. The owner demonstrated exceptional understanding and attentiveness, diligently listening to both parties involved and providing me with the precise information pertaining to our reservation. Although our party's experience was not entirely satisfactory, it is important to recognize that this is a small business located in Elk Grove, and it deserves an opportunity to thrive within the community.

Haggin oaks is a great beginner course located in Sacramento…read more Pros: you are able to choose either a 9 hole or 18 hole game. I was able to rent golf clubs here as I was on a trip for $15. If you wanted to rent them for an 18 whole game, you could rent them for double the price at $30. The clubs here were pretty good where they give you irons from 6 to 9 with a pitching wedge, gap wedge driver and two hybrids of course itself is very straight with a couple par 3's to par 5's. The grass here is maintained with not a lot of dirt or bumpy ground and a great place to practice using all your clubs. I was able to rent a golf cart too which was nice and new compared to other golf carts at other courses. Cons: the price here is not that bad ranging around $50 to 80 depending on how many holes you play. The location of the driving range and the pro shop compared to the first hole is kind of far but the good thing is that there's two different 18 whole courses here one that's beginner and another one that's advanced specifically I played the arcade course, which was the beginner course. Verdict: I highly recommend this place to practice using all your clubs where I had great maintained grass and greens and was in a good location with high-quality rental clubs and golf carts.

I opted for the Trackman fitting (whole bag) and Jack was pure class throughout the entire experience. He explained the what and the why on club selections and what the Trackman numbers meant in an easily consumable way. Although this was my first fitting and my first time meeting Jack, he's obviously a high character/integrity guy that gives a shit about what he does. I highly recommend seeing Jack and will be sprinting back to him for all of my future club needs.

I'm a golf enthusiast. Play at least 2X / week. I'm a golf ball tester for an on-line golf forum…read more I wanted to get data on several brands of golf balls. So I booked a session here. It was my first ever visit. It's easy to book a session via the website. Pre-pay and heaven code is sent to open the locked doors. This business is open 24/7. It is unmanned. The place is squeaky clean. It's well organized. As a newbie I did have a steep learning curve to launch the game console and the projection system. I've never played video games. After 15 minutes of button pushing the control monitor and flubber-dubbering I finally got it up and running. So #1 recommendation: offer customers the assistance of an employee who teaches a newbie how to run the simulator. If it would cost an extra $15 that would be a good value. I had a planned routine to test 5 different golf balls. I ended up having to swing 125 shots for the record and another 30 for warm-up and repeats when I flubbed a swing or when the Uneekor system did not correctly track the shot. That took 75 minutes. I only paid for an hour session. The system did not lock me out after the 60 minute session expired. My one criticism is the responsiveness of the operating system. It was S...L...O...W... Choosing a routine such as a driving range took the machine at least 2 minutes to launch. I poked the touch screen multiple times to choose a function with no beep feedback response nor the function launching. I don't know if the machine (Bay #1) was glitchy or if this is the usual quality. Once I got the system to work, the simulator did track the ball flight and display the data pretty quickly. So will I use this facility for practice or a simulated round of golf? Probably not. The allure of golf for me is being outside in the sunshine, breathing fresh air. So being in a dark room smashing golf balls into a movie screen is a completely different experience. I will return if I'm tasked again to test golf equipment that requires data gathering.

Honestly, after being out in the sun, walking the trails, and melting a little in the Sacramento heat, walking into that air-conditioned clubhouse felt amazing. The AC was cranking, the drinks were ice cold, and it was exactly what we needed. We were actually the only people there when we arrived. I ordered a beer that came out perfectly cold, and we also grabbed a few Gatorades to replenish those electrolytes after our hike. For food, we ordered the club sandwich, a brat with fries, a western-style burger, and a side of fresh watermelon. I was especially excited about the watermelon because after being out in the heat, something light and refreshing sounded perfect. Unfortunately, as soon as I opened the container, I could smell vinegar. I took a bite just to be sure, and it had definitely gone bad. I brought it to the counter, and the ladies working there immediately checked it themselves and agreed something wasn't right. They were incredibly apologetic and told me to pick out another container. Unfortunately, when they opened the others, they discovered those had spoiled as well. While I was disappointed because I had really been looking forward to the watermelon, I genuinely appreciated how they handled it. They immediately offered to replace it with anything else on the menu, which was very kind and much appreciated. The rest of the food was great. My club sandwich was delicious, although next time I'd probably ask for crispy bacon because mine was a little softer than I prefer. My daughter loved her western burger, and my husband completely devoured the brat and fries. The only other challenge was the parking lot. We drive a larger vehicle, and some of the spaces felt a little tight and tricky to maneuver through. Helpful tip: If you're ordering fresh-cut fruit, it never hurts to give it a quick look and smell first. Also, if you're coming in after a hike or a hot day outside, the cold drinks and air conditioning are worth the stop alone. Overall, this was exactly the kind of casual lunch spot we were looking for after a day on the trails. Great service, good food, and they handled an unfortunate issue with the watermelon the right way.

Very Nice 18 hole course out in the Vineyards area off Bradshaw out towards Elk Grove…read more Making the tee times online was easy enough, however whether calling or online, the availability is only 7 days out. Price was reasonable, $76 for 18, riding. Course is decently challenging with doglegs, trap and pin placement and tricky greens when putting, but course is well maintained. They had just paved the area around the grill and had cobstruction on the patio, so the beverage cart was unavailable during my round, however there were plenty of water stations with fresh cool water throughout the course. The grill has a nice variety of good for before or after your round as well as snacks, and various beverages from soda, gatorades, beer and mixed drinks. My Bacon Breakfast burrito was quite tasty, with a healthy mix of peppers and onions with the eggs and bacon and cheese. After the round I enjoyed a Bacon Blue Cheese Burger. All on all , a decent change to our usual golf outings.

One of my lifelong passions is golf-from the moment I picked up a club when I was 17 years old,I…read moreknew an obsession was being born.Along the way,I've had good highs and good lows, like the time I quit the sport for 10 years because I played a round so terrible at the Ridge in Auburn,I lost 18 balls in one round, but that being said I always come back.Im the kind of guy who will go to the driving range 10 times between actually playing a round, practice makes perfect or whatever they say,so I decided I would write a few reviews of some of my favorite driving ranges-I'm starting my series with one driving range that I probably frequent the most or 2nd most,it's one convenient to my home-I'm talking about Leader Golf on El Centro Road in Natomas. Right off the bat-you got to know this place is not fancy-this is the kind of place the serves that golfer who is just beginning-the kind of person who maybe has thought about golf and wants to give it a shot-this is where they head. This driving range is truly a no judgement zone,so many beginners,so many people there who this may be the 1st time they ever held a golf club-I love that about this place, you never know who your going to see here,it can be someone like me who has been playing golf for over 30 years or literally a kid or teenager or woman's group or older person who has never touched a club before-your going to see all types of people, every age, every skill level and it's great. This place has zero dress code-not that all golf course do but some places you can really standout if u show up in gym shorts and a tank top-but not here-anything goes and nobody will give u a 2nd look if u have no clue what your doing. The place has a few cool features that I enjoy-it has a putting area so you can go out there and work on your putting at zero cost.It has a very good short game area where one can work on their short game but it does cost $7 an hour to get access to that area. This place does have ample parking so that should never be a problem, there is a pro shop on premises as well-Inside your able to buy range tokens which you use to get range balls to use on the range.Prices range from $7 for a small bucket(40 balls) to $24 for a "Leader" bucket which is 200 balls. What I do is buy the Leader bucket for $24 and they give you 5 tokens for 40 balls each and then I spread out their usage over multiple visits since 40 balls is more than enough for a driving range session, which brings the cost down to under $5 a bucket-a very very good price for a small bucket. The pro shop also sells beers and sodas and snacks along with just about any other golf accessory you could possibly need from driving range tees to full on brand new golf sets-it's a decent shop-gets the job done. The gentleman who owns the range also works the shop-he is an amazingly kind man,he is a little rough around the edges when you first meet him but once you get to know him,he is the best-super helpful and chatty-he is truly an asset to this location. Overall what I will say about this place is this-if you have ever had the idea that maybe you have an interest in golf and want to go to a judgement free spot where you can try it out-this is your place. If you want a no frills spot to go and work on your game-this is your place. If you want a spot you and your friends can meet and chill and maybe throw back a beer or two while doing something somewhat active-this is your place. So do yourself a favor and head on out to Leader Golf and give this amazing game a chance-it just might start a lifelong obsession-see ya out there. Its hard to miss a fairway here even for the most beginner of golfers and even if you miss, you're on another fairway with a clear shot to back on track on your hole to get up and down. Golf sure is tough aint it? There are trees too, but not enough to block your way but those squirrels gonna have to 'scramble' out the way. You won't often find yourself behind a tree having to lay it up but hey it happens to the best of us. The terrain is very flat and beneficial for the newbie that needs good lies where the ball is level with your stance. Theres some water too, around the back nine near the driving range so hopefully your ball doesn't take a bath here like mine did.
