FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING to continue taking Valentines Day orders, payments that the store #1149 CLEARLY WOULDN'T. If I could give -stars, I would. After receiving multiple email ADVERTISING that one can still order **on V-Day** and that their stores are open until 7 pm. Okay - great. I submitted in my $90 Valentine's order online, with a 12 noon pickup. Paid online via PayPal. Unfortunately, I found that my car had a dead battery so I called the store to let them know I'd be late and will pick up later than planned. The woman who answered the phone said that wouldn't be a problem. 5 hours later, I arrived at the E-W Connector location to be met with a chaotic environment. The line was out the door and no one was at the cash register attending to customers for several minutes. Given that it was Valentine's Day and several folks were trying to get last minute edible gifts, I gave the store a pass for lack of attentiveness to the line. However, once I got to the front of the line (intending to pick up my previously submitted, paid-for order and be on my way), the store person looked up my order# in the computer. Asked me when/how I placed my order. I responded "online this morning". He flippantly stated that they'd stopped taking orders on Sunday. And that they'd have to CANCEL my order! Which he had the Manager/Owner complete. Very unapologetically. Both displayed absolutely no customer service or care at all. On Valentine's Day. WTH?!?! Who does that? To me, this was FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING to continue taking orders, payments that the store #1149 clearly CHOSE NOT TO FILL. Meaning, they could but decided not to for whatever reason. I respect that choice, HOWEVER... Why not tell me when I called earlier in the day? Why not proactively contact me after the order was submitted? BETTER YET, simply don't accept or confirm the order to start with. Extremely aggravating. Do not waste my $$, time, gas or energy!! Instead, I ended up going to my local Publix to pick up a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my loved one. I buy gifts for many occasions & clients throughout the year. Needless to say, I will not do business with this or ANY Edible Arrangements locations in the future due to their very poor business practices. read more

Had a curbside pickup order for 10:30AM. I got there right on time and tried to call them 3 different times and it just kept ringing over and over again. This was extremely frustrating because 1. I could visibly see the workers just standing around in there not answering my calls and 2. I purposely chose CURBSIDE so I could have a CURBSIDE pick up, not walk inside. I ended up walking inside to get my order and asked about why they didn't do curbside, and the worker ignored me. I also spent $105 on strawberry's and flowers wrapped up, not in a vase. You can already see how poorly this edible arrangements is obviously run. They barely have a 1 star review. There is a reason for that and I'm shocked they are still in business. My two party platters didn't get to my party until late that night after everyone had already eaten. They have horrible customer service as well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I don't even know why this place is still open. They have the absolute worst service. I understand that Valentines Day is a busy holiday but if you can't accommodate the orders why accept them. My boyfriend ordered me a gift from there for V-Day, they tried to deliver at 8 pm and nobody was at home. He contacted them the next day and they told him it would be delivered that day....NOTHING not even an attempt. So I went the NEXT day to the store to get the refund since he had to work. They refunded it with no issues. I asked the sales associate where was the arrangement was he said he had no clue. They never knocked on door. They eventually said they would upgrade the arrangement and redeliver a new one. Today they delivered the old one from three days ago. Consider yourselves warned. The store location is Austell, Georgia, store #1149. Even with expensive prices, I overlooked that and placed an order on 4.14 to be delivered to my husband's office on 4.28 for our 5th year anniversary. I was out of town the entire week leading up to the delivery date, thought this would be a good way to say "happy anniversary" since I would be flying back home that day. Needless to say, it didn't get delivered and I was not notified, I had to call on 4.29 to find out. Given that it was being delivered to a business and that the driver put the address in his GPS and saw that the road was blocked, he returned the package back to the store. When I called the day after, the staff person said that "oh yeah, he was planning on calling you today." The day after! Yes, I am highly upset and will never order from this location again, may not order from any of their locations. A simple phone call would have helped this situation. Called the store today, 5.1, and the manager, Karen, was no better. She explained their business practices, saying that this was out of the control of the driver. No worries, just means a loss of a customer who was willing to pay the ridiculous price for decorated fruit. read more

This place takes online orders even though they have cut off the orders. Thus leading to you coming in at your pick up time and being told they can not complete your order. They are also extremely rude about it. The lady at the front told me I should have placed the order earlier. There were FIVE others with the same problem while I was in there. Ordered 4 days prior to Valentine's Day. Showed up early only to have to wait 30 min outside the store in the cold with a handful of other disgruntled customers. Fix your store hours online if you don't want to accommodate customers that early. Finally was handed my order and felt rushed out the door, so much the manager forgot to hand me my second (overpriced) balloon, I paid for in advance. Never again, I'll take the trip to camp creek instead. Btw, calling this location gets you nowhere, phone rang with all attendants glancing at it occasionally for the entire time I was there. This is the worst Edible Arrangements franchise. I ordered a simple bouquet, balloon, and stuffed animal for a dear friend. They did not deliver until 2 days later and she never got her teddy bear. After calling and speaking to someone they said the owner would have to decide what to do. Really? Just deliver the bear. But I never heard from this owner to date. Poor way of doing business. Awful!! Placed a $181 order and NOTHING was right! It was supposed to be delivered on 4/7 for my niece's 30th birthday, but wasn't delivered until the next day! Got a confirmation it would be delivered the 7th, paid $13.99 for delivery, and all the delivery driver said to my niece was "Sorry it's late. We were busy." My niece sent me a pic of it and thank God she did! NO BALLOONS!! NO CUPCAKES! NO CHOCOLATE DIPPED STARS OR FLOWERS!!! The cupcakes came later that afternoon. Only 5 instead of 6! My Fiancé paid $100 for a Valentine's arrangement for it not to be delivered when it was supposed to and was given the run around when trying to figure out its where abouts. We have been calling for HOURS and the line has been busy as if they unplugged the phones until closing time. I called the Five Guys right next door to the store around 7 and asked was the Edible Arrangements store still open and the nice young lady told me yes. So i continued to call to still get no answer. My son in the Marine Corps ordered some strawberries for his mother to be delivered on Mothers Day. They still have not been delivered -5 days later. We called this store on Tuesday and they said they would send it back out. They never did, and they didn't even bother to call us back. We called them again today and they said they have attempted delivery 2 times and they will not try again. But we could come to Austell to pick them up if we wanted. We did not and told them to cancel the order and refund my son's money. What a waste of time with a company that obviously does not care about its customers!!! Never again! read more

I ordered a Valentine's Day fruit bouquet 2 weeks before the holiday and it was never delivered. I stayed home all day anticipating the arrival, the order was never filled nor was there a call to acknowledge the over site. I was fortunate enough to live in the same residence as the recipient, otherwise I would have never known it never arrived (but my credit card was charged the day it was ordered). My last name and billing address do not match the delivery address, no call was made to the home indicating intent to deliver, coincidence or hopes that it would go undetected? I reached out to the store today for a refund and was told they were too busy, they took my info and said they would try to get to it later today or tomorrow. We'll see! read more

I wish I had read these reviews prior to placing a Valentine's Day order for my 90 year old Mother. My experience was the same, order and payment taken and no delivery or contact. After getting the standard "prompts" and then hold when calling Edible with end result they just disconnected prior to answering, I emailed Customer Service. While they need to take the Franchise away from this business in Austell, it is the communication from Customer Service that led to my decision to halt my frequent use of this Brand. Refund or deliver several days late - sorry about that. We should all contact the BBB as well. This is FRAUD in its' purest form. read more

Very poor quality fruit - waxy coating on melons coupled with an odd taste - not like melon. Chocolate coated cupcakes (pineapple) tasted old and was very badly stained by the chocolate so much that I didn't recognize at first that it was pineapple. Call the store to complain within a hour of delivery. No one bothered to call back. I wrote a complaint on the corporate website, was given a Case ID #. USELESS Again, No-One even bother to call or follow up. I couldn't eat the fruit. It was AWFUL! I threw it away after tasting a bit of each fruit. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. read more

Worst experience I have EVER had making a order for delivery. On December 23rd (Tuesday) I made an order to be delivered to my girlfriend's grandmother's house on December 24th (Wed). I ordered Chocolate dipped strawberries-Mix toppings box. I wanted a custom message to be included.. the message was 124 words which was too much to type into their online system. I called customer service about this and they said the best option is to contact the store making the deliver and tell them the message and they would include it. When I called, I spoke to someone who allowed me to send the message in an email to them because they were too busy to take it down over to phone (which was understandable). They said, they would get to my order, put the custom message and get it delivered by that day. The day came and went and my order was never delivered. I called them at 4pm when I realized my order still wasn't delivered and apparently they were closed at 3 in order to catch up with the orders they had. Thursday was Christmas day so it was understandable that they weren't working. Friday came and first thing I did was call them at 8am because store hours claimed to be (8am-5pm). No one answered. I called 3 or 4 more times between 8 and 10am and no one answered. Each time I went to voicemail. Finally I was able to get them at about 10:30am and they apologized saying that they were really busy on Wed and that they stopped taking new orders at 3pm on Wed so that they could catch up... If they didn't have the time to make and deliver my order, why did they even accept ANY new orders on Wed.!??? Anyway, now it is Friday and it is a bit harder to get a hold of my girlfriend's family because they are out and about so I told them to make sure they deliver it by noon and to not forget the custom message and I gave them two phone numbers to contact if no one was home for deliver. To cut this story short.. It is now Monday and the arrangements were NEVER delivered. My girlfriend's family never received a call saying that they tried to deliver the arrangements and they never called me to say that the delivery failed (although they claim that they tried to deliver it late Friday night). I had Edible Arrangements customer service try to get involved to contact this store but clearly nothing helped. I'm NEVER making any more orders from Edible Arrangements because of this. The delivery of the arrangements along with the message was extremely important to me and the people I was delivering to and they completely dropped the ball. It seems like this store has some really bad managements and some people need to be fired since they can't do their job! I googled this store and heard others talk about the store being horribly managed. DO NOT make any orders from this store! Also, be careful making orders from Edible arrangements because it seems like they are not responsible for anything that happens. Only the specific store is responsible.. and often they don't seem to care. read more
