This place totally messed up my valentine's day for my wife. First off I went a week in advance to place my order, the cashier told me I could get a deal if I spent more then $75 which was my plan. Then she comes back to tell me the deal was not for Valentine's day I said "ok I'll take that $75 arrangement". I also advised her my wife will leave work at 4pm she said "ok I'll add a note" and if the delivery guy runs late it would be delivered to our house. Ok so what really drove me to write this long review was my wife got a call around 5:20 pm from the edible arrangements delivery driver asking "where are you I have a delivery for you" she told him "I leave work at 4pm which was on your delivery notes" and what really got me mad was he asked her "what do you want me to do with your gift?" So I guess by the tone of his voice she told him to take it back. The only positive thing that came out of this is I asked for a refund and it was given to me after 5 min. So to sum this up. #1. This is the absolute BEST location I have used thus far!! It was one of my best friends birthday & I was out of town so I decided to send her an arrangement. I put in her zip code and this branch popped up. I placed my order online and went about my day. I got a call around 2 pm and it was Kenneth one of the delivery guys... he called to tell me that he was at my friends house but nobody was answering the door. Of course I didn't think my thoughtful gift through! Of course my friend wouldn't be home on her birthday.. I told him I was sorry but could he leave the arrangement on her porch and I'd figure out what to do later. (I was busy) he said he'd try to figure something out. 15 mins later he sends me a text and tells me he was able to leave my arrangement in a safe place and to let Erika (my friend) know where she can find it. We wandered into this establishment because my six-year old wanted a treat. After checking the different fruit arrangements, we realized that the smallest arrangement was still too much for my son to snack on. The person behind the counter (a man, maybe the owner) kindly asked us what we were looking to buy. I explained to him that my son just wanted a little treat, and that their smallest arrangement was a bit much. He asked if he could offer my son some samples. He went to the kitchen and came back with six chocolate covered strawberries and apple slices. The sticks of fruit were good sized. I offered to pay, but he insisted on just giving it to my son for free! That was very kind, and I didn't think this type of service existed anymore. The absolute worst customer service I've ever had. My fiance ordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day as a surprise to be delivered to me at work. I was able to leave early at 4 p.m. and had no idea. The arrangement was delivered shortly after I left. He later told me he contacted them, to cancel the order when he found out I was leaving early, and try to pick it up himself and they told him it was too late and was already sent out and would be delivered between then and 6 p.m. and that he would be contacted if I wasn't THERE to receive it. BUT they let someone else sign for it, and accept the arrangemen/delivery...seriously? When we found out it was at work, and delivered to someone else, other than myself we immediately contacted them, to have an explanation as to why they would do that, and to work something out, possibly have it delivered to our home, etc. They didn't apologize once, and asked if we've ever had something delivered from UPS, stating they work the same, and how they deliver to many businesses that they can't enter; which wasn't the case, and was completely irrelevant and totally rude. When I found out that it cost $84 for that, I got upset, and called them myself. I first spoke to a man who wasn't helping me, giving me the run around, so I was shortly contacted by a manager. She was so incredibly rude to me, telling me it wasn't their fault I wasn't there. Giving me ridiculous examples of how UPS works similar to them, basically telling me that ANYONE can receive and sign for the delivery other than the recipient. So if someone signs for the delivery, they could possibly get away with taking it, and stealing money from the person who paid for their service??? She offered to go pick up the arrangement, and deliver it to me the day after at work, stating it would most likely be the same arrangement, not even fresh because it's good for 48 hours. I asked to have it delivered to my home in Glendale, and she said absolutely not because it isn't in their delivery range. She even told me that it wasn't fair that I was blaming them for my dissatisfaction. At this point I was extremely irritated, she obviously didn't want to help me. I told her I wasn't interested in working anything out anymore, and that we just wanted a refund. She absolutely wasn't happy with that. She said absolutely not, she even told me, "I can't do anything with THAT arrangement." Basically, she can't resell it, which I told her isn't my problem. I was a dissatisfied customer, very disappointed, and she made it all about money, and said she cares about her customers being satisfied....right while she's arguing with me. I told her the very least she could give is is a store credit. She even gave me a hard time about that. Anyway, she ended the conversation with an I have to call the Burbank location to see if we could even give you a store credit. Which I replied, "I need a definitive answer right now." She said that most likely she would be able to. She called back, giving me all sorts of attitude about being able to give me a store credit for "Eighty-four dollars and some change." (Attitude) for ONLY their location. So convenient. I accepted because I was so tired at that point of trying to reason. I didn't get a single apology, this place is awful. Don't waste your time and money. I'm honestly afraid to even use the store credit after the experience. I feel like they would purposefully tamper with anything I ever order from them. Because she said if I want to use the store credit I have to call them, and give them my name, or my fiance's name to order and tell them Ana said it was okay...that seems so shady. I'm never getting anything from them again. Can you blame me? Our Valentine's Day was absolutely ruined because of their awful customer service. Rip off!!!! Make your own fruit salad, it's way cheaper. Used them for a Thanksgiving arrangement, the Pineapple was mostly non-edible. They are pushy and try to get you to order larger arrangements. Ordered a chocolate strawberry boutique for my mom for Mother's day. Literally the strawberries looked like they were dipped by a child and were barely covering the fruit. I have bought chocolate covered strawberries from various other places ranging from cheapish to expensive. I have to say this is the worst I've gotten. I called to complained and they just apologized. They didn't even offer to fix it or offer a coupon code for next order like most establishment. They were very accommodating and allowed me to pick up my arrangement an hour ahead of my scheduled time. I even had a same-day order. I requested a particular color vase but did not get it. I also had placed a similar order from a different edible arrangement location and noticed a few differences between the quality of my arrangements. The one I got here was not as appealing to look at. It appeared sparsely arranged. The honeydew and cantaloupe were cut much thinner and so it didn't have the fullness it should. The freshness and sweetness of the fruits are on par with edible arrangement standards though. Addendum, I was contacted by this location and they inquired into the satisfaction of my order. They even offered to make another arrangement so that it is up to par with my expectations. Definitely did not expect this. This location definitely went above and beyond.
