I placed an order 4 days in advance for a delivery, and everything went very smoothly. I got a confirmation email, and I was able to track the progress of the order through delivery -- and the order was delivered on the day I asked for. My recipient said the fruit was beautiful and delicious. I'm primarily writing this review because it seems this store received a lot of negative reviews around Mother's Day. My guess is that the location was struggling in the pandemic around the holiday, but they have recovered and seem to be doing well. They deserve a better rating! read more

I've made two orders at this location for birthday celebrations in my house (my parents and I) and they always come out perfectly! I always love going to the store location (you have to be buzzed in) and see how the product turns out because I get a little bit anxious if I am not able to see the final product beforehand to ensure that i am getting what I ordered. & the staff is so friendly - when I was waiting last time for my arrangement to be done ( I had gotten there early) the nice staff member gave me a Chocolate dipped Pineapple star. If I could give zero stars I would . I ordered fruit basket for a very sick friend/coworker at Loyola hospital. The door dash driver delivered order to the office building at Loyola NOT the hospital and could not speak English . The security guard called me and said he told the driver to deliver to the hospital. Delivery driver left my Oder at office building ---friend did not receive fruit basket I ordered and PAID for. I called the Manager and she promised me her regular driver would deliver the next day . I received no call or email that what was delivered made it to my friend the next day. I called edible arrangements today (2 days later) and asked her if it was delivered- she said yeah it was - but noted the date in which they delivered to the wrong location and then she hung up after I asked for a refund... Update: The store did complete the order around 1 PM on the following Monday, but it was missing an item. My parents complimented the order, said everything tasted good. I tried calling three days in a row, several times a day, to see if I could just get a refund for the delivery fee and the missing item (I really didn't want to take the full amount away from a small business during a pandemic); however, no one picked up and the voicemail box was full. I did, however, get through to corporate (the hold time was ~40 mins) and they are issuing a refund. Really wish I would have just gotten through to the store itself, but here we are. I honestly hope the people working at the store are doing OK. ----- Original Review 05/11: Like the other reviews below, I ordered an arrangement for Sunday, May 10th -- Mother's Day. I ordered the Wednesday before, so it was not ordered last minute. I paid an extra $20 to have it delivered to my mom with a mother's day balloon on Sunday. It never showed up and the order status only says "received by the store" but was never any update beyond that. When you call their store you get a busy signal. If they weren't open yesterday they needed to let people know and they need to refund us. I was counting on this to brighten my mom's day because her children couldn't be there. If it had shown up at ALL I would have been satisfied. I noted that the receipt says "may show up as late as 9 p.m. on holidays" and was prepared to settle for that. Nothing. I want to note I understand we're dealing with an order on a holiday during a pandemic. However, if they are closed due to this, please do not accept the order. I ordered an arrangement on line to pick up at the Countryside location this past weekend. When I arrived (wearing a mask), there was one customer inside with no mask, one employee with a mask barely covering her face and a security guard with NO mask and was on a personal call on his cellphone while the guard was cursing. Since I arrived 20 minutes early, I observed how the store phone rang non-stop and no staff member bothered to pick up the phone. As two more customers came in, the security guard didn't acknowledge them and continued with his personal call. I left shaking my head and wondering how unprofessional the staff at this location was. After reading other reviews, I'm glad that I ordered and picked up on Saturday and not on Mother's Day. read more

Ordered Half a week in advance and it was late and missing items. I spent a whole day trying to get in touch with the store and corporate but their phone had a busy signal or said their voice mailbox was full. I tried to cancel the next day when it didn't show up since it's past the holiday and thus the point. I even thought the store had shut down since it seems no one could get a hold of them. When it did show up at 8pm the next day the recipient showed me it was missing the balloon. Terrible store. Terrible management. I will never order another Edible Arrangements again since I couldn't even contact the franchise customer service. If the owners were decent human beings they would refund everyone they screwed. I get we're in the middle of a pandemic but then they should not be accepting orders. If they are open they should be answering their phone during their office hours. read more

I ordered for Valentine's Day and I specified that it will be for my coworker who leaves at 3:30. The girl assured me it will be there before that time and I told her if it's after I don't want it. I understand that yesterday (May 10th, Mother's Day) was a holiday, plus we are in the middle of a pandemic, but why would you not have an appropriate system put in place? The shelter in place has been ongoing since March! I ordered for pick up so that I wouldn't pay the delivery charge. I was there at my pick-up time (1pm). The line was all the way down near Home Depot's garden center. I waited almost 2 hrs, and I was barely at party city's entrance. It was cold and it rained. The line barely moved. I ordered to PICK UP my order not to have to wait over 2 hrs to pick up my order. So ridiculous. There were people waiting in line with no masks, and with the weather no one was social distancing. I've tried calling the store and the line is always busy. When I did get through it promoted me to leave a voicemail but couldn't because it's full! I've called two corporate numbers I found, on one they never answer, and in the other it prompts me to press 1 for questions about an order and to talk to someone but both times they've hung up on me! Stay away from this place... Their fruit is nearly spoiled. My husband got me a box of Chocolate dipped strawberries for Valentine's day. It was bad... We had dimed lights going on in the room, so we did not see, and ate some of them. I am pregnant, and felt sick the next day, my son ate some too. Not just the fruit was nearly spoiled, but the chocolate was hard . Just over all experience with the place is not a pleasant one. When I called to talk to the manager, I was given a run around.
