    Chocolate Covered Strawberry Arrangement
    Lisa Y.

A friend sent me a chocolate covered strawberry arrangement as a surprise, and it was delivered to my house. Very unprofessional service! When an employee arrived at my doorstep, she BANGED on my door loudly and started ringing my doorbell over and over! I had not expected a delivery, so I was pretty startled, not to mention people really shouldn't be doing this type of rude behavior in general! As I peered through the peephole, a little scared, I noticed that the car she was driving was UNMARKED. I only cautiously opened the door when she started saying my full name loudly, and that I had a delivery. Only then did she even mention that she was from Edible Arrangements. After that rant, I suppose I should mention something about the product. The chocolate on the strawberries was already starting to melt when I received them. At least the strawberries were large and chocolate was tasty. After putting them in the fridge for a while, they returned back to normal. Even though the chocolate strawberries were good, it definitely wasn't enough to make up for their terrible delivery service. I won't be bringing my business here.

Why do they think they can do a bad job and can get away with it?

I really should've read the reviews here before ordering. It was a pure disappointment. I ordered a bouquet online for my parents. Once I realized my parents will not be home at the time, called the gardena store to tell them to deliver it to my dad's workplace instead. The guy on the phone was bit snappy, but I didn't think too much of it. On the delivery day, they delivered it to home, but since there's no one there, they call my mom and somehow brought it to the right place eventually. My parents were baffled by how rude the delivery man was and enraged by the service. The bouquet definitely wasn't up to the quality. I ordered the service to surprise my parents and celebrate the occasion, not to infuriate them and make them feel insulted. I would never order from this place again.

Since Godiva are closing stores in Manhattan Beach, we needed another store which sold chocolate covered strawberries. I wanted to purchase something for Valentine's Day on Sunday. I was told Edible Arrangements was the place to go. I locate this particular store. Customer service was very bad. As my wife and I walked into the store, the person behind the counter NEVER greeted us. If he did, we didn't hear him. He looked at us as if we were in the wrong place! Next I needed to repeat my name 2-3 times. He went back to retrieve our item. My wife wanted to make sure everything was correct. She opened it, observed, and closed the box. There was no, "Is everything ok, anything else i can help you with, have a nice day, NOTHING!!!" Although my order was correct and very nice, the customer service was a D-. Don't know if you don't like black people, or having a bad day. At the least pretend to like an appreciate your customers. People and businesses need support of customers in this time. WHATEVER the case, I have money to spend, but it won't be at your shop! I will make sure to tell all my friends.

A great place for simple gifts. Great customer service I'd recommend this place to anyone.

What I ordered, and what arrived. I felt ripped off!

Plain and simple - not worth the money! Don't expect your arrangement to look like the photo online. I was PISSED when my BF sent me the picture of the arrangement. The whole idea was to be an embarrassing girlie arrangement, but instead i was the one who was embarrassed by the cheap-looking arrangement. This location did a half-ass job on the Hello Kitty arrangement that I ordered. (look in photos to see what I ordered vs what was delivered.) The arrangement only came with ONE Hello Kitty face pineapple cut out and nothing else in it was themed to what I had ordered. Even the tin can that it came in was green, instead of the HK one in the picture! I could understand if they didn't have the supplies to fulfill my request - if they had called me to explain. Instead of transferring my order to one of the many Edible Arrangement stores in my area, they put together that POS arrangement and sent it on it's way. For the record, I contacted EA's corporate office to express my disappointment and they didn't event acknowledge my complaint with any type of response. I will never order from this company again. I suggest that you save your money too.

Perfect amount of sweetness and balance. It's good to split with someone, and don't forget to get it heated up. When I'm feeling matcha, I get the Vienna matcha (with oat milk). It's really good. This place can get busy, so order ahead online if you don't want to miss out on treats. And don't forget your jacket. It's cold inside, as they need to cool the place for their espresso machine (or so I was told). They've changed up the chairs a bit to improve the ambiance, but it's more of a spot to grab a drink and go than hang out. My fav coffee shop in Gardena.

The packaging alone screams luxury. The potato chips are to die for! The chocolate is not too sweet, the chips have a nice crisp and the right touch of salt. I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

She walked us through their collaborations over the years and the inspiration behind different flavors. It's not a set tasting menu. I left feeling like I probably don't need chocolate again for a while, but still walked out with a stack of bars to share with friends and family.
