There was a squirrel on my porch eating something. It was your arrangement. We haven't been home all week, so your masterpiece was left to freeze, thaw, attract and be consumed by vermin. Also, who is it from? There is no name on the card. FOUR times I have requested a response: none received. I finally contacted the generous gifter (she spent a lot of money on a small wood tray which a squirrel was enjoying) to tell her what happened and to protest the credit card charge. There also seems to be no corporate oversight to protect the brand. As such, I suggest all stay away from Edible Arrangements. read more

I spoke with the owner, Kali, who was so kind and went above and beyond to make this birthday so special for me. My arrangement was prepared on time and I was greeted kindly by staff upon arrival. Excellent service. I ordered a fruit arrangement to be sent to my cousin. The order was delivered neatly wrapped and at a reasonable time 2 days before Easter. The fruit was fresh and artfully presented. My only gripe would be that the chocolate covered strawberries should be larger for the amount of money you're shelling out. Do not apply to work at this location especially for temporary work! I went to apply for seasonal work and they interviewed me and told me with certainty that I got the job. An hour later they emailed me to inform me that they actually have enough people and won't need my help after all...needless to say I was deeply disappointed especially being a college student and needing money...very disrespectful, disorganized and downright wrong to get someone's hopes up like that to then turn around and say Ooops No..I wouldn't recommend anyone to work at the Hackensack NJ location. read more

Absolutely terrible service. This place is run by kids that have no idea what they are doing. I placed an order for same day delivery which they advertised hours as 9am-7pm. Once I place order I get a call 10 mins later that they cannot fulfill order until next day. No management around. No phone calls back. The next day comes I call them at 9am as soon as they open to see if I can get my order out and it will not go out until 12.30pm!!!! Ridiculously terrible service. They don't even deserve 1 star. Made an order online for curbside pickup, requested time of 11am , I get a call at 11:15 telling my order won't be ready till 12:30pm mind you it's a pick up. The Girl on register is just so unprofessional, with a nasty I don't care attitude. When I asked to speak to the manager really didn't make. Difference Same attitude this store just literally sucks and extremely unprofessional. I'm very disappointed. I ordered flowers and a box of dipped fruit for my sister's birthday. I wasn't able to see her today on her special day, and I wanted to surprise her and make her feel special, but what a disappointment to get an unfresh and old bouquet. Some of the leaves from the bouquet seem that a bug ate them. Overprice, and poor quality. If you're thinking about getting flowers from this shop, DON'T! Yesterday was my 1st time ordering from Edible Arrangements. I ordered the Mother's Day Indulgence Platter. The picture they have of the platter on the website was beautifully placed with little plastic heart shaped pieces that said happy Mother's Day in between the strawberries. Their was also 30 strawberries pictured on the platter and some had the cute white beads on it. When I got home from picking up my platter their were only 22 strawberries, no happy Mother's Day pieces, no white beads. I get it's a busy holiday but I could have made this for way less instead of paying almost $60 for a rushly done platter. Very disappointed. Will not be buying from here again. read more

I preordered the strawberries with chocolates and some balloons with happy anniversary on them , so when i went to pick up , the girl at the register said they were out of the anniversary balloons, but that she could give me the little bear holding the strawberry plush for their mistake. So that wasn't have bad so i guess she saw me on yelp and also gave me a free chocolate lollipop and more regular balloons. I recently received an arrangement from my loving caring neighbors for the passing of my father. Two days after receiving it and putting it in Tupperware and refrigerating it, everything started to turn. The cantaloupe tasted like bad cheese & the strawberries started to mold very quickly. I called and spoke with theit employee Josie who said someone will get back to me that Monday. They never did so I wound up calling again and speaking with Yolanda who assured me she would bring to my house a new bouquet that following Friday. Friday came and went nothing... I called the following Tuesday three times because she wasn't returning my call. I received a phone call back telling me that the account would be credited for the arrangement. I said "I just want my new arrangement that I was promised". Amy who was the one who called me back said there was nothing she could do. I ordered online for pickup. Ordered for my fiance birthday same day. I got there 30 min earlier.I walked in was not noticed or greeted. The employee was working with a customer taking her sweet time meanwhile there is only 1 person at the front desk. The place is messy very unorganized. Looks like there needs to be better Management and needs to look more presentable for us customers. They need to be trained with customer service skills. I'm disappointed. Total wait time before I was finally asked if I'm here for pick up was 25 -30 min. Then I had to wait 7 min b.c my order was not done. I ordered some chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day. I understand it was a busy day but I paid $20 extra dollars in shipping and my order never arrived. I called the general customer service number and they helped me and I was satisfied. But two days later I got a call from the local store with a not believable excuse that they tried to deliver it but were unsuccessful. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case since someone was actually home. I let that go but then they told me they were only refunding me half the shipping cost for an item that was NEVER delivered. Whether the delivery person actually tried or not, there is NO reason to withhold any shipping charges. Especially when nobody even bothered calling me. I quickly objected and the sales rep, without hesitation said ok they would refund me the full amount. I was appreciative and said thank you and got met with a forced "you're welcome" and quickly got hung up on. That is NOT good customer service. Will not every order from this location again. read more

I ordered a basket for my sister who is ill and her birthday was coming so I thought this would make her feel better. Soooo ridiculous they never showed up and they never bother to call. I called next day and someone told me he couldn't credit me since he was only a part time employee and he was not aloud to do it and to call back on Monday. Monday I called several times and put on hold for over 15 minutes 3 times in a row. Finally I reached out the Customer Care Headquarters where they refund me but not even an apology, NOTHING!!! I received an Edible Arrangements as a birthday gift from the Hackensack location. It was not good at all! I had to throw out almost half of it. The cantaloupe and the honey due melon was mushy. Nothing tasted fresh. It seemed to me that it was made a few days prior and then sent to me. I have purchased from them in the past and it has always been good. I think the worst part is that when my mother called to complain nothing was done except an "I am sorry" She paid a lot of money for garbage and they don't stand behind their business. I decided to order my boyfriend an arrangement as a congratulatory on a new place he just moved into. So I went onto the website and chose this piece that looked like a great size and price! The piece came in this nice mug that I thought he could use after and have it as a memorable piece for his new place! I was so upset to come to find it was delivered without the mug, BUT the customer service I received from this location was FANTASTIC. I've been in the customer service industry for almost 15 years so I'm a bit of a stickler for good service. I wrote to the store and within 24 hours I was contacted to have a brand new arrangement sent with the correct mug at my convenience! This took away all of the upset feelings I had and I will absolutely be using this location again. The young woman explained about a glitch in the system when I ordered and I totally understand.
