I usually have good luck with Edible Arrangements however the store in Schererville has been a great disappointment. I called to have an arrangement delivered, they were unable to deliver it that day. I did not receive a call, neither did the recipient to try and reschedule. 5 days go by and no delivery was attempted until I called. For the amount of money that you pay it is ridiculous that they would not attempt to contact me or arrange something. Owner said they were going to make it up by delivering it today and add something extra. I just received a picture from the recipient and there was nothing extra added. I'm shocked that Edible Arrangements as a company still exists. There doesn't seem to be a single franchise location that cares about the product they sell, just as long as they can upcharge you every step of the way. A $100+ order with special instructions to deliver in the afternoon was delivered in this condition. You'd think based on how melted the chocolate was upon arrival and the condition of the "arrangement" that the delivery driver decided to take the arrangement for a joy ride while they did errands and left it sitting in a hot car. Then when you try to call to report the issue DURING BUSINESS HOURS, no one answers the phone. And that behavior is not isolated to this location. We've had issues with other locations as well, where the quality of the service does not warrant even close to this price. Do yourself a favor, do not buy from this location. And I'd caution going to ANY location because they just don't care, they want your money for as little effort as possible. read more

My mom sent a fruit arrangement to me which was an unexpected, nice surprise as she knows I love chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries were big, fresh, sweet and delicious. The delivery person was very professional as well and went above and beyond to deliver the tray to me personally as I was a few minutes away from home therefore, he waited for me as he did not want to leave the tray sitting out. I have never received better customer service than I had yesterday and today. From Danielle on the phone to making the order online to the delivery man, I received excellent service. Purchased chocolate covered strawberries for my husband for Husband Appreciation Day and he has enjoyed the freshest, sweetish strawberries we have eaten in a long time. I was the recipient of a gift from this shop and how they remain in business is a mystery. They showed up to deliver it but we weren't home so they took it back to the shop. You would think they would call first, as we were recipients of a gift. We didn't know it was coming! Long story short they show up the next day with chocolate covered strawberries whose leaves are brown and crumbly, so I cut one open and it is ugly! Normally great service. Called ahead to see if they had anything left in store, they did. I went to the store and it was a bunch of children who didn't know what they were doing. About 3 more people came in behind me, and were all helped first. Even after I picked out what I wanted in the case. They ended up giving what I wanted out to others behind me. I'm really upset about the fact that they didn't know what they were doing and provided me with horrible service. read more

Bad customer service. After the text alerting my husband the valentine's bouquet was ready, he arrived for pick up. He gave the counter person my information and they disappeared. After several minutes someone else took his order information and disappeared, this happened 3 times as he watched other customers come in and minutes later leave with their order. Finally, the manager came out and accusingly asks if he was sure that this is the location he ordered from. After showing the her the email, she made no response then left again. After about 20 total minutes, his order was brought out. They must of have lost it or given to another customer. I understand it was their busiest day, I can understand not being offered an order discount or no discount for a future order for the inconvenience but a total lack of any kind of recognition or any apology was not. read more

Went to pick up a fruit tray Saturday and waited 10 minutes and then they came back and said spell the name again. He said she didn't have the right name so I'll be right back. Waited another 10 minutes and she came back and said we can't find it and don't know what happened to it! Funny, since my daughter was there a few hours before and they said they were working on it. She said we've had 100 orders!! Well if the staff couldn't handle it, they should have cut back on what they could handle. The girl was very rude and not apologetic. She was the manager. A customer that was leaving told me "She was very snippity to you"! My daughter went later to pick it up. After looking at the fruit tray, there were 3 chocolate covered strawberries and was suppose to have 7. My daughter called corporate and they contacted the owner and she mentioned 100 orders again. She was not apologetic at all and is suppose to give a $10.00 credit. There is another company that does fruit trays that we will be using from now on. Beware of this place! I love this place. Their edible arrangements are excellent gifts. Every time I visit this store I am always welcomed by a friendly staff. They will continue to get my business. One thing I will state is that if you sign up for their email list it will sit there for months. I had to sign up for rewards on their website. Waiting for them to add you to the email list will cause you to lose out on deals. read more

This was my first time ordering. I was skeptical at first. Pricing is a little high, but when the person I purchased it for received it, he was extremely happy with it. I had 2 orders for a birthday party on Saturday. I placed the order well in advance on Monday to be ready by 11am. Went to the schererville location at 11am and both orders were not ready. Said about 10-15minutes. Came back in 15 minutes, still not ready. Still in the Oven!!! Maybe 15 more minutes. Finally done then they wrap both in one package with one card. I told her they were to be separate orders with 2 cards attached. Finally got it separated after 45mintues past pick up time. Worst service ever. Then they send an email at 12noon that my 11am order is ready for pick up any time. I was gone with the order by then. Complained but no reply from Manager at that location. The first delivery proved to be very complicated and was picked up in error, Kathy the manager at the Schererville, Indiana Edible Arrangements was extremely helpful and arranged for a re-delivery at no cost to me.
