Received a basket for Mother's Day from my daughter it was totally unexceptable from edible arrangements in Waldorf ,Md .The fruit was hot and chocolate melted, the fruit was rotting and the strawberries were molding ! Left three voicemail messages and two emails and no response. Can not get anyone to answer the phone either during business hours. My daughter wasted 100 dollars and the store can not have the decency to contact either of us for a refund or new order. Will never recommend or use this store again. If I can give it ZERO stars I would. 2nd time using them in 2 months and let's just say HORRIBLE. Ordered balloons each order, never received them with the order. This past time, the delivery person placed arrangement on my parents porch, no knock, no doorbell. Sat on porch for hours in warm weather. Thank gosh my parents had to leave for the store, and saw them sitting there. By then they were pretty much ruined. And like I said, no balloons as purchased with the fruit arrangement. Emailed customer service several times asking for some guidance and at least an apology and refund. No response. I wont be using them again and its a shame that they went down hill. read more

I placed an order 2 days before it was to be delivered. I called the Waldorf store 4 times and requested a call back, or at least a confirmation. There was no answer so I left a message. No call back was given, so I visited the store on the date that it was requested to be delivered. Two unprofessional employees (male and female) were not helpful in advising me when my order would be delivered (just said In Transit). They could not tell when the delivery would take place. I specifically requested the delivery at 11:00 because my 88 year old mother was having a party at 12 noon for Mother's Day. The merchandise was arrived at 4:52, 6 hours after my requested time. My mother's party was over by then. I will never use this Waldorf store again. The staff was unable to help me and would not return my phone calls. I am going to block this payment! Putrid customer service. Pitiful product that was not at all as advertised. Half of it -- the vase of flowers -- was not included. The fruit was haphazardly arranged and wilting -- and in an aluminum tin as opposed to a white ceramic cantainer. I paid $158 for this? Equally terrible, the delivery person left the food on the front stoop and did not ring the doorbell. Who knows how long it sat there before being discovered. The words I wrote to go with the delivery were not included. When I called to express my complaint to the Waldorf store, I was yelled at immediately by the extremely rude woman who picked up the phone. She was being coached loudly by a man nearby on how to cut me off. I have asked for a full refund through American Express -- and will be calling the corporate office of Edible Arrangements to suggest they consider revoking the franchise of the operators of this Waldorf location. We hope they will take to heart all the terrible reviews here on Yelp that are giving a once reputable company a very bad name. read more

On Monday May 8th, I placed an online order for a Mother's Day arrangement for my wife, to be delivered on Saturday, May 13th. They promptly charged my credit card. I received an email at 11:57 am stating it had been delivered. It had not. So either the driver stole the arrangement or delivered it to the wrong address (I confirmed my address in the order, so it is on them). I placed 2 calls to the store and had to leave a voice mail message and have NOT received a call back. I sent an email to corporate got the standard response. My birthday is today. My mom called and placed an order over the phone since she lives in another state and had my husband pick it up yesterday. I sent my mom the photos and told her that while I appreciated it, I would be feeding it to my chickens as it is moldy. She called and asked for a refund and the lady told her I would need to bring the basket back. I called and explained that I live 40 mins away, and that I think the pictures should be sufficient. She was rude and said I will let the owner know, but she likely won't call you back. I explained that it was ridiculous to have to return the basket when I have pictures to prove the mold, and she said "well ma'am, we have never had a mold complaint, so we'd like to see it" never again. I happened to be at the residence when they were delivered and stopped the delivery person to confirm that nothing else was sent for delivery. No call from this store prior to or after delivery and when I finally contacted them about the extremely disappointing order, they stated they'd been out of stock of the other stuff and asked if I wanted a credit, of which they offered at half the price of what it would cost me to purchase the remaining bundled items. So $80 for a dozen covered strawberries was ridiculous. I also asked why I wasn't notified that they were out of stock of the items so I could've decided whether I still wanted the order and they stated they were too busy with other customers. I was next in line to be served, when 2 employees walked out from the back and did acknowledge me nor asked if I needed assistance. Then a female walked in and she was asked immediately how can we assist you. I felt disrespected and offended by the unprofessional service. After I explained that I was there first, I still received poor service with an attitude. I ordered the Valentine's bundle online which included the fruit arrangement and chocolate pop, I added the teddy bear and balloons. When the arrangement wasn't received by 2:00 pm on the 14th, I started to call the store, the phone rang and a message said, sorry we are no longer taking orders. The store was packed and the phone was ringing continuously the clerk said "oh my god this phone, people stop calling us" the lady in front of me said, yes I have been one of those phone calls trying to reach you because my husband never received his order, the clerk said, "We have been busy what do you expect? The lady responded she would like to be refunded, the clerk said, "fine" I asked the clerk, Can you make sure my order is going to be filled today? At first she couldn't find my order after I showed her my email confirmation she said, "Yes it is in route" About 30 minutes later the arrangement arrived when I asked my boyfriend what he received it was only the fruit arrangement, no chocolate pop, no teddy bear and no balloons. I called the store now the phone was ringing busy and continued to be busy until they closed at 7:00 pm. When I called the 800 number I was told we can't do anything but put in a compliant and the store manager will contact you. I did a complaint and the manager never called. I called the store on the 15th in which I was asked, did I want to come in and pick it up the missing items? I said no, the point was for it to be delivered to my boyfriend on Valentine's Day. The clerk refunded me the balloons and teddy bear, I asked,"Why am I paying for this bundle instead of just what he received? The clerk said sorry I can't do anything more, she took my name and number for the manager to call me, no call. I called on the 16th in which I was informed that I have to come in to receive a cash refund for the chocolate pop. My daughter, who is a college student and does not have a lot of money, ordered a birthday arrangement to be delivered to me on May 11. I arrived home at 3:30 to find a note that "we're sorry we missed you" and to call them. I called, and was told that the arrangement would be sent back out. I explicitly stated that it had to arrive before 6:00pm because I was leaving my house. I left my home at 6:15pm and had heard nothing and the arrangement was not delivered. I was called around 7:30pm and told that the arrangement would be delivered May 12 with a "little extra something because it was not delivered on my birthday." I thought that was very nice, and was happy that I was teleworking and would be home all day. May 12th. NO DELIVERY, NO PHONE CALL, Nothing! I called at 5:30pm and spoke to what I thought was the manager who only said a curt "sorry," asked me to hold for a bit and came back on to tell me that "what's her name" (she meant my daughter) would have to call to get her money back. I read the ratings prior to making an order and still decided to order half-heartedly. I figured if I talked to the person taking my order in strict detail I should be fine. My girlfriend wanted some white chocolate strawberries so I decided to order her some along with the petite fruit basket. A "young girl" answered the phone and although very pleasant I could tell early in the call that this process would be an adventure. I told her the delivery would be to the Charles County Courthouse.. she had no idea where or what that was. I proceeded in making my order and told her specifically WHITE CHOCOLATE strawberries and the petite fruit arrangement. She then asked my gf's name and proceeded to spell it the way she wanted without asking me the spelling. I caught that error. And corrected her on the forced error. I was called later on saying they did not have any FRUIT and my order would not be delivered that day. The next day it was sent out and my parents missed the delivery and was told that they would not resend it out but that my parents had to come pick it up after I paid 14.99 delivery fee. When I called them they were very nasty and rude and told me that the fruit I ordered was actually a summer fruit so they had to order it and that they usually don't sell it until after Memorial Day.
