I will actually probably spent more than what this necklace was bought for. She would not exchange the tarnish necklace. Instead, she proceeded to tell me how silver needs to be cleabed. I'm not about to clean a brand new necklace I said. She went and took it on herself to clean it. I walked outside of The store looked at it still tarnished went back in and she cleaned it a second time. On my way home now looking at it in the sunlight and still it is gold and silver. Basically, just a clam shell with a colorful piece of fabric glued to line the inside of it (looked like a craft project my first grader made which actually would have been cute but wasn't great quality and is being sold for around $15/each. Also, none of the associates even said hello or asked if I was looking for anything in particular. The store features pottery by the owner, Dwo Wen Chen that is absolutely stunning. The pieces are perfect with autumn, decorated with red and orange leaves. This place is great when you are looking for unique, special gifts. I had a difficult time finding something small for my boss that was in my price budget. Expect to pay $20-$350 for a piece of pottery. For example, I paid $18 for a small tea bag holder about 3-4" in diameter. Definitely worth a walk-through, but keep in mind that prices are pretty steep.

But, back to the beads - Karen came over and she was just incredible. She clearly knows her Trollbeads and a total newbie like me learned so much from her probably less than an hour, it was amazing. Not to mention the huge selection. And, the really affordable prices on many beads that you just won't find anymore. I found Karen to be so helpful and charming and honest. It was a really nice customer experience and I highly recommend visiting Twice Told Tales for anyone in the area.
