I cut my costs by around 10% when I started coming here. However, shopping here can be tough. It's stimulus overload. It's loud, bright, & stressful. Oftentimes they are out of vital products & there's no reliable way to check beforehand if they have something or not. One time last summer they were out of 12oz plastic cups for weeks. The employees work hard. The forklift guys always make me laugh. I don't have anything negative to say about them at all. However, they seem to be chronically understaffed. They never have enough registers open to manage the flow of customers, & I've had to wait up to 30 minutes in line to check out. Maybe the checkout system needs to be updated? Like prior reviews have mentioned, going to Restaurant Depot is never a FUN experience. It's a necessity for restaurant owners. I'm thankful that this place exists, but I think it needs some updating & TLC. Misc: - Average trip to Restaurant Depot takes me ~90 minutes. - I wear headphones to cut out some of the noise. - Get a cart WITHOUT the top shelf. I've basically concussed myself multiple times on that shelf. It's not worth it. - Take your time in there.
