Placed order a week in advance for delivery for my guy's birthday (Feb. 4) to his job. Works in a high school which closes at 2:45 pm. On this day....he sent a text saying "Hey"...I replied..."Heyyyyy" thinking he may have received the arrangement...nope....so I called the facility (11:00 am - 2/4)...they stated "Oh, they are being prepared for delivery"....Long story short...the delivery was made at 3:50 pm (school is over) Luckily he was still on the campus...but the office staff was gone, I had to reveal to him that the arrangement was sent (spoiled the surprise). The manager and person who answered the phone, were very accommodating and apologetic, about the late delivery. They offered me a refund, (I declined). The outcome is, he received them the next morning upon arrival to work...He was very happy, enjoyed them and shared them. Enjoyed them so much, he forgot to take a picture and send it to me to see what the arrangement looked like. The ultimate goal was to make him smile for his birthday. So disappointed. My parents were retiring from their small business they started and ran for 42 years. I don't live in the area and wanted to send them a small gift to congratulate them, so I ordered a box of assorted fruit, flowers and balloons. First, the order was not delivered on the specified date. Then, when it was delivered, the balloons were missing and the fruit assortment I selected was incorrect with a bunch of random pieces. I would like to first say, this is the SECOND year in a row we have had an issue with this location. Last year my husband sent me an arrangement for Valentines day. The order never arrived, and I was told I needed to go to the shop to pick it up if I wanted it (even though he has paid for delivery). I am a huge fan of edible arrangements; this location is a disaster. The employees are lovely, but the management is disgusting for lack of words. Sunshine, the manager at this location, is rude, unpleasant, and incompetent. I ordered an Easter arrangement of strawberries, and they delivered a mediocre form of the arrangement. I called to see what we could do and started a case. I spoke to sunshine and was happy to receive a new one when they had materials; after waiting two weeks, not even a phone call. Annoyed, I called again, and with no apology, she offed a refund and hung up. I waited another two weeks and did not receive a refund, so I called again; at this point, I was told I would receive a refund again. Now we are over a month of waiting for a solution/ refund, and the corporate office has had to stay on the phone with the store to make sure she processes the order. I ordered flowers and strawberry chocolates. First they weren't delivered on the date that was asked which was for a birthday. Second the chocolate's were starting to melt when they finally delivered. Third the flowers were welted and looked terrible. I know these times have been trying and I am not one to write a bad review but this felt very necessary. I live in Massachusetts and my brother lives in Florida. We sent him a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and flowers to congratulate him. First off he received the wrong order... it was for a different person with a completely different address and it was for a birthday. Not only did he receive the wrong order! The flowers had fungus and mold growing ALL over it (pictured below). When I called and complained all they said was that he got drizzled chocolate covered strawberries when he wasn't supposed too and they are delivering the right card to him. When I told them about the flowers, all they offered was to reimburse for just the flowers. They did not offer to resend the order they messed up on or even just resend the flowers! He doesn't even want to eat the strawberries with the way the flowers looked! I don't usually go out of my way to write bad reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience so others won't have to go through the same. I ordered a 44 dollar fruit and cheesecake arrangement for my bosses birthday to be delivered the following day. I received a confirmation email that the order was received and will be delivered as requested. I checked my inbox throughout the next day and there were no updates (I was able to track with order number). By 6 o'clock pm I was getting worried so I called the shop and was sent to voice mail. But I checked the tracking and at this time it said my order was en route. I failed to reach anyone the day and night the order was suppose to be delivered so I called the store the following day and felt surely I would be heard and be refunded since the order wasn't delivered. The manager told me I wasn't going to receive a refund because the recipient wasn't home and it was somehow my fault. I informed him I received no email, no call and neither did the recipient. Why do they request the contact information of the person they will deliver to? The store made zero attempt at contacting me and to make matters worse, no apology, no refund and I was hung up on. On the DAY of delivery, at 4pm, just ensuring that I would not be able to rush to get a backup gift. I live far away and it was already breaking my heart that I couldn't be there for my mom's birthday, but this insensitivity and unprofessional store made it so much worse. I couldn't even get them on the phone. I had to call the companies customer service line and ask them, my idea, to call another local store to see if they can fulfill my order instead. This store is beyond awful. My brother sent me a News Years' arrangement that never came. They had no explanation, no refund, no proof a delivery was ever attempted. Never ever let a loved one send you anything from this store or Edible Arrangements. They even referred me to a company in Texas to complain.
