My daughter had just given me two $500 visa gift cards. I've been to the store numerous times and…read moreso I had to also make a stop at the post office so I parked in his parking lot because I knew I was going to loop back around. The man in store ASSUMED I was just parking there but didn't plan to shop, even though two others had pulled in and never entered his store and it was only me he chased down the street yelling HEY NO PARKING! I explained I had planned to come back around, but I had to stop at the post office first, I also explained I had been in his store numerous times. He was extremely rude so I went and moved my car because there was actually a parking spot closer to the post office! So I guess no need for me to walk back and spend my thousand dollars in his store. I will never walk foot in there again. And just for further reference his stuff is way overpriced and not worth at all what he's asking. The two other times I was in, I was dressed extremely nice, today just jeans & a pretty simple shirt. The crappy car he sssumed was mine, that had parked next to me and didn't stop in his store. He let that man just walk on by because it's easier to harass a 53 old woman. I guess he thought that was crap car was mine and he just didn't think I had enough money to shop in his store. Well, I have a lot more money than you think and I also have a big mouth so I will continue telling everybody where NOT to shop! Don't assume anything! RUDE! If you're going to make it a point to chase down people don't pick and choose who you think is going to make it easier target or who you think wouldn't have the money to shop in your store- my thousand dollars will be spent somewhere else now. You should have waited for ALL FOUR people who parked there same time I did to all come back to their cars, THEN YOU'D know who didn't shop there. Pretty discriminatory! it's Christmas, pretty safe to ASSUME RATHER that people may have more than one stop! I can guarantee the next time this person tries to get in my face and chase me down the street. They're going to get knocked the F out!

A curated experience that truly delights--but bring your wallet!…read moreWalking into Hive Home, Gift & Garden feels less like entering a store and more like stepping into the pages of a high-end design magazine. Everything--from the artfully arranged furniture to the perfectly styled decor--has been curated with such care and elegance, it's hard not to be inspired. Hive isn't just one store, it's a collective of beautifully designed spaces including Hive for Her, Him & Kids, and the deliciously tempting Hive Bakery & Café (which is right next door!). Whether you're shopping for luxurious home furnishings, chic apparel, or just enjoying a pastry and coffee, the entire experience feels elevated and intentional. The story behind Hive is just as impressive as the space itself. Founded by interior designer Sara McCann in 2013, the brand has grown into a cornerstone of the Norton Dining and Design District in West Palm Beach. It's more than just a store--it's a celebration of Palm Beach style, creativity, and community. That said, elegance comes at a price. While I absolutely loved browsing (and maybe daydreaming a little), the price points were definitely a stretch for my everyday budget. Still, it's a wonderful place to get inspired and maybe treat yourself to something special. If you're in the area, even just walking through is a treat--and don't skip the café next door for a sweet bite afterward!

The architecture and design of the store are stunning, leading up to a beautifully adorned, ornate rooftop dining space that sets a premium atmosphere. The culinary execution and service matched the environment perfectly. Our server was highly attentive, pacing the meal flawlessly. The Food & Wine Pairing: The Main: Ordered the warm, buttered lobster roll and added the optional 15 grams of Kaluga caviar. The execution was superb; the lobster was sweet and perfectly cooked. The briny brightness of the caviar provided a precise counterpoint to the rich, warm butter. The Sides: Served with excellent, well-salted french fries accompanied by ketchup and a high-quality aioli. The Wine: Paired the dish with a Grüner Veltliner, which had the exact acidity needed to cut through the richness of the butter and complement the seafood. The Dessert: Finished with the strawberries and chantilly cream. The inclusion of fresh vanilla bean flecks in the cream elevated a simple classic, making it a light, refreshing palate cleanser to end the meal. An exquisite experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for both the atmosphere and the precise execution of the menu. The value is definitely there. I will absolutely return the next time I am in the area.

They followed the two of around the store the entire time--but only us two not the middle aged or boomers in the store. Apparently being a young adult is suspicious? In the morning you can enjoy artisanal coffee, both cold brew and Seattle-style pour over and freshly-baked pastries. For lunch they offer quick, light bites, which include salads, sandwiches and snacks. They even sell cigars and bottles of wine. On the other side is a carefully curated collection of gifts and unique decorative accessories from around the world. Everything is so artfully arranged by type and color scheme. They sell holiday decorations, books, collectibles, dishes, cups, glassware, topiaries, beautifully embroidered dish towels, an assortment of napkin rings, greeting card, note cards, decorative items, glass paper weights, candles, beauty items, and more. I really loved the Palm Beach coloring book. Of course this being The Breakers, items are pricey. A single greeting card was $6. I enjoyed exploring all of the shop items after which I indulged in a croissant and coffee from the food side. You can take your food and drinks out to the Palm Court where there is beautiful landscaping, fountains, and tables and seats. You don't have to be a guest of the resort to come here. The Breakers tries to limit non resort guests during season but if you allow them to scan your license and tell the guards you are coming to eat or shop they will let you in. Guest parking is on your immediate left just after you pass the guards.
