I pass by it everyday going through the rotary, but for years could never figure out how to get there. One day, after years on wondering, I asked my wife how to get there, and she told me the entrance is behind that gas station on Pleasant Street. Well today, I did it, I successfully found my way inside In search of sugar free chocolates for my crazed diabetic mother-in-law. It's a decent size shop, with some nice displays, and a variety of different candies, but it seems everyone is there for the chocolates. Service was very nice, and willing to accommodate my special request of a custom sugar free gift set. They took the extra time and effort to decorate the two gift sets I bought in Valentines Day red ribbon. It's strictly candy, and much more of a variety of chocolates than Pete's Sweets down the street. P.S. To the old man(must of been Maureen's father)who was blatantly watching me as soon as I walked in. Chill out dude, I didn't rob them or steal anything, but did give them a $50 sale, and a four star Yelp review. Stopped in a second time and the place was in disarray. The carpet was dirty, and needed to be vacuumed. The chocolate cases were all messed up and low on supply. Maureen wasn't in the greatest mood. My wife was less than impressed with the state of the place, selection, and especially the prices.

Lol. They instantly became our friends and we then made our way to where they got those shakes from. Here's how things went. Atmosphere/Appearance: This place instantly reminded me of Christmas. It was the beginning of August, but I felt like I was transported to the end of the year or to the North Pole as soon as I stepped inside. Now it wasn't decked out with Christmas decorations or anything, but when you visit I think you'll understand what I mean. So this place is like a gift shop, featuring a coffee shop that had the privilege of adding alcohol to your shakes! Service: John hooked our shakes up along with his partner in crime. They were so funny, energetic and it seemed like they were having fun too! All of the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Food: I went with the Oreo shake (I can't think of the correct name at the moment since this is 3 months later and I'm catching up), but it was delicious. I had a few shots of vodka added in to make it a bit stronger, but I could hardly tasted, though I felt it later. Lol. Value: I'm really dropping the ball with my memory on this review, but I think it was $8.00? Maybe $10.00 for my shake? Just got and see for yourself! They're worth it! In conclusion, if I didn't have to watch my carbs and my sweets intake, I'd be up in here all the time! Please come check this place out, you'll have a good time resting by the fireplace on the big deck just outside.

The coffee was good but not much better than what I can make at home which was not what I was expecting for a coffee roaster. I also tried their RED ROOIBOS TEA. It reminds me of a very strong hibiscus. Too floral for me. I do love their environmentally friendly to go cups. The shop is very unique. Very much a gypsy vibe. Like a fusion of an abstract art exhibit meets a hippy college dorm room, meets a cafeteria, meets a bazaar. It is collaborated with a few businesses ("The Urban Food Brood"-"Corsello Butchery"- "Happy Man"-Forest Doe Botanicals"-"Nosh Restaurant & Cafe"). A very supportive community. The seating is very cozy but awkward. Great place to meet up with friends or make new friend. They also have cold brewed canned coffee with unique flavors as well. All in all. Not too shabby my friends.

Some sell food, some sell homemade goods like candles, lotions etc. It really is a place I'll come to again, and again.

The carefully curated menu has all the classic breakfast and lunch staples - omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc, and for later in the day, soups, salad, sandwiches, pork chops, NY steak and even fried chicken! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with eggs over easy, and the bacon on the side, and everything arrived perfect and hot. Tender, crunchy, gooey deliciousness with the sandwich and bacon! The home fries were also tender on the inside with a delicate crust. Add salt if needed for that. I really liked how clean everything was here, and it was apparent that the owners take good care of their customers and establishment. Kudos! I'll definitely look to come back here next time I'm near!

However, our party of four waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. Even coffee took quite a while to arrive. A canned coke was delivered 20 minutes after ordering. Three out of the four entrees were served after waiting for 50 minutes, the other one took an additional 5 minutes and we waited for another 5 minutes to receive the side. The food was mostly good - Omelet was chock full of meat and was delicious. Bacon was really good. Burger was average and fried chicken was kind of meh - crispy, but very dry. We did enjoy the live acoustic music. It was great to hear live music in the morning since most places only have it at night. However, the excessive wait for food really overshadowed the rest of our visit. Oh well.....

It's an unassuming building but they've made it very cute! They have painted the brick around the bottom to look like stone as well as a continuation of the awning painted around the top. The inside is just as interesting. There is a huge wooden map of the world on the wall, a piano, and the lights over some of the tables are made from teapots. There is a large bar in the middle and plenty of seating. This place is larger than it appeared from the outside. The menu offered several types of teas- white, green, herbal, black with several different flavors within each type of tea. I chose a tropical white tea. It came out nice and hot with a packet of honey. My friend ordered a sweet crepe with mixed fruit. She loved it! I decided to try their unique offering of 6 mixed pancakes. It included 4 savory pancakes (beet, zucchini, squash, potato) and two sweet pancakes (Oladi, farm cheese). One of the sweet pancakes was fluffy but dry and flavorless. I think it was the Oladi. All of the other pancakes were excellent and the service was flawless. What a cute place with great food and service! I'll definitely be back!

Our waitress Monica was beyond welcoming and knowledgeable. She made us feel at home. The low dinning table with low seated sofas made us feel very cozy.
