I ordered fruits for my dad since I was out of down for Father's Day. He's extremely ill and I just wanted this to be special. I selected the Father's Day balloon during checkout, but received one saying "you're awesome" instead. Not the end of the world, but the wrong balloon completely changed the meaning of the gift to my dad. I purchased the chocolate dipped indulgence platter. Unfortunately some of the fruit, specifically the pineapple and a couple of the strawberries had no chocolate on them at all. This place needs to hire responsible drivers! My son sent me a surprise arrangement for Valentine's day that arrived on the next day...the 15th. That's not the issue. The issue is since this was a surprise; I had no idea that this was arriving. I left for the day and the driver dropped it off at my house. Never attempted to call me so that I can return home to pick it up, nothing. When I got home arrived 9:30pm, my delivery that my teenage son (away to college) sent me was sitting outside... rained on!!! When I checked the cameras, it shows the driver ringing the door bell several times, that was the first clue that I was not home. She never tried to call me or my son. My phone number was on the same tag as my address! I've had edible arrangements delivered before in other states (military) and they have always called me if I wasn't home. I understand that she may have had too many deliveries and was trying to cut corners, but this is not the type of delivery you want to just leave outside! This is unacceptable! I ordered a $133.00 arrangement for valentines day and paid extra (phoned this request in to the store) to have additional fruit dipped in chocolate total $143.00. The arrangement showed up not dipped in chocolate as requested, I called the store and spoke to the manager who first denied that I asked for and had paid for the addition. Once I convinced her of her error she told me that add ons were not being accepted during valentines day. So not happy both with the service and the after the fact decision (why was I not told this when I called and paid for the addition?) to deny this request I had paid for. The good: Their website makes it extremely easy to pick out an arrangement and schedule a pick up at a local store, almost TOO easy (that's how they trick you!). They have a huge variety of arrangements to choose from in many price ranges. The bad: Expensive. If you're not looking to spend $50+, look elsewhere. I would say that value of EA overall is low considering the prices. I get that fruit is expensive, but I'm guessing their mark up is pretty atrocious. Employees at this location are so-so. I had schedule my pick up for 12pm. I arrived and didn't see anyone by the front desk. That was okay, though, because they have a bell that rang in the front and in the back. Apparently the two employees in the back didn't hear the bell, or didn't care because they kept doing what they were doing. I stood there waiting and in clear view of the window on the door to the back in hopes that they would see me and come out -- nope. After five or so minutes the UPS man arrived with quite a few packages (the bell rang when he came in the door), and to my shock an employee came right out to the front. The rest of the process was fairly straight forward The arrangement looked nice, but like I mentioned earlier it didn't seem to represent the amount of money I paid for it -- lesson learned! So we decided this week to surprise a colleague at work for her birthday and she loves EA chocolates, we were a little disappointed that ALL the options online stated that they did not qualify for the free delivery, even when we had a coupon for it and the webpage was slammed with the promo! Figuring it was maybe an IT issue we called the store but was told the promo was over, however ZACK THOMAS really went above and beyond to help us out & truly enabled us to make our coworkers day a lot better and saved us a little cash along the way, that fee is a little hefty. I went to Edible Arrangements today to pick up my order that was pre-ordered online. I put my order in at 11am and requested for my order to be ready for pick up at 11:30am especially since online it stated that it could be ready in 7 minutes. I left to pick up my order taking an early lunch break however when I arrived at the store at 11:30am I was told that my order was not ready by the cashier and they were running behind. The cashier stated that my order would be ready in about 10-12 mins. Well by 11:50, 20 min later...I asked the cashier if she could check on my order. At this point I'm annoyed, and told her I had to get back to work. The cashier apologized and offered me a free smoothie but that didn't compensate my time. I received my order as she made my smoothie just to also find out that my birthday trio didn't come in a box like it was presented online. They put it in a cup and said, "oh sorry we ran out of boxes. Even more annoyed I just said yea thanks and left the store. When I got in my car, I read the message that I requested on my order just to find out words were missing on the message. So that was three strikes. Well needless to say I will not be returning back to that Edible Arrangement location. The service was horrible and as much as they charge for their arrangements better customer service is expected. Lastly, I left my contact number online, a phone call to say that my order was running late, or even the fact that they didn't have boxes to put my arrangement in would have been appreciated. I was presenting the arrangement that I purchased for a friend's 50th birthday gift as a surprise. Presentation was very important and Edible Arrangement failed to provide that today. I ordered a bouquet for my fiancée for valentine's day, with the understanding this is one of their busiest days. The order arrived at night (or early next morning) with the wrapping wide open left on the front porch. We had no idea what had happened to it during the night and had to toss it out. I'm giving them a 3 rating because, although I was disappointed with their delivery, their customer service was really great and understood my disappointment. I received a full refund. The girls at the desk sometimes catch attitudes with complaining customers. However, this review isn't exactly for them. We are continuous returning customers and you would think with their prices and us willing to put up with some of the girls at the desk they would appreciate customers like us. Today a man named Devon was at the front desk. You could tell right off the bat he didn't have much of a personality. We encountered an issue with my mothers order and not only did he completely lack in customer service he was as rude as it comes.
