After a concert at Oakland Arena, we were hungry and wanted something hot and quick to eat. ARMY friend K found Edible Happy Pizzeria, which was open late and walking distance from the Marriott we were staying at. We stopped by at 11:30 pm and noticed a lot of to-go orders getting picked up, though the pizzeria has a decent amount of seating inside if you wanted to dine in. We ordered the medium one-topping pizza, with pepperoni ($20.99). We didn't have to wait long before we were back in our hotel room to dig into the hot slices of pizza. So so satisfying! Good amount of toppings, yummy stretchy cheese, and a chewy crust. Portion size was just perfect for us to be satiated, but not food comatose. The owner and employee assisting us with our order were courteous and helpful. Would definitely come back for another late night or regular meal time visit!

Late night spot in Oakland. I recommend coming here after clubbing or if you have late night munchies. Can't go wrong with the pepperoni pizza. Other than pizza, their garlic fries are surprisingly delicious. One thing I would stay away from is the cheesesteak. It was kind of chewy and a complete grease bomb. Staff is very friendly!

A very curious name for a pizza spot...when I heard "Edible" Happy Pizzeria I thought these pizzas were infused with CBD... well they were not but wonderfully delicious (almost addictive) Work bought 3 XL pizzas for our team: :: 1/2 Paneer (Indian cheese) tikka and 1/2 vegetarian :: Veggie and Meat Combo :: 1/2 Pepperoni with pesto and 1/2 chicken tikka :: BBQ chicken wings - coworkers enjoyed and said they were nicely crisp and not smothered in sauce. For takeout: pizza held up nicely, flavorful, delicious and a change from the usual Italian-style and would visit them again on my own. 4-5 stars for those pizza options. Crust was not overly thick and doughy and just the right crispness and chew Located on Broadway in Downtown Oakland so parking may be a bit tricky! I'll definitely return for lunch!

Food wasn't bad, ambiance was decent for a pizza place, service was perfect! A solid 7.0/10.0

Hey, I accidentally ordered a veggie pizza! But it tastes good, and it's got a good amount of cheese. It's got beautiful strands of melted gooey cheese! Made fast, delivered fast from downtown Oakland.

Flagged Content: Completely empty restaurant, but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I walked inside and up to the counter, I was not greeted by the woman behind the counter, but I asked for a menu which was given to me. I ordered a dozen chicken wings For $13.99. I don't mind spending more than one dollar per chicken wing, but expect decent size chicken wings. These were anything but. My order was given to me in a to go box with napkins and ranch dressing. I guess they would prefer people take their orders to go, rather than sitting at their tables, which they have to clean up. The chicken wings I received look like they came from baby chickens, as they were very small. A mixture of drummies and wings, but overall not even a half pound of wings. I thanked the woman for my order, but she was silent. Overall experience was very poor. I have no plans on ever returning to this place again.

Late night munchies, happy that this spot was open. The pizza was nice and crisp, delivered quickly. I ordered your traditional pepperoni and it satisfied. The chocolate "mousse" slice was disappointing. There was nothing "mousse" about it so I was pretty bummed. I also didn't get a fork to eat my cake with. Definitely a pet peeve when the proper utensils aren't included in my order. In response to your message: did you give my chocolate mousse cake to the driver? Also the utensils should've been in the bag.

For the experience I had that day, which included being hung up on twice, the pizza made it not that bad. I will say using white onions because they could've ran out of red onions was an unexpected flavor. This could have been the time and day that I was being served but their pizza will satisfy that carb craving for sure.

I think this was genuinely one of the best pizzas I ever had. The owner was so nice and kind I came in around 11AM and order on the phone. I am a huge pizza guy and this was definitely the best pizza I ever had in my life. The cheese falls apart will be coming back. Ty

I was there with my family and the pizza was so delicious. We all enjoyed it. Delicious food with great service. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Speciality Veg meat combo Lol I could hold my self to take a photo. It was pretty dam good .

I ordered the sando and fries combo and enjoyed them at the picnic tables nearby. 5/5 Chicken sandwich I'm no fried chicken connoisseur, but I really enjoyed this sandwich. My mild fried chicken sandwich was crispy and savory with a hint of sweetness. The coleslaw was a creamy tangy addition that paired well with the sandwich. It's nice they offer various spicy levels; the mild is flavorful without burning off your taste buds. 4/5 Fries were nicely spiced with cajun-esque flavors. Not spicy at all. They included a mysterious (aioli?) sauce that went well with the fries. Fries were crispy though without the pillowy insides I crave. The portion was huge, quite shareable. I also tried a few bites of the thick gravy seafood etouffee. Other folks in my party were impressed with the flavor and generally liked it, but I didn't care too much for it. You might enjoy it if you, too, enjoy curry-type food. I don't often eat fried or hot chicken, but I consider this to be one of the better spots locally.

Casual southern spot for fried chicken sandwiches. Don't be afraid to turn up the heat!…read more The menu offers flavorful versions of southern comfort foods. We ordered a chicken sando, the chicken and waffles, and a couple sides -- the greens and etouffee. The sandwich was the clear highlight: moist chicken thigh with a breaded crunch, covered by a thin layer of mayo coleslaw. The light, sweet crunch of the cabbage and carrots gave balance to the dark meat. The waffles were crispy but just soft enough you could wrap them around the chicken to make a sweet sandwich out of that dish too. The server was very friendly when we came. I expressed curiosity about the different heat levels, and he shared nuggets batter d in the medium and hot sauces. He shared our excitement at trying the hot stuff! For the record, the medium is hotter than your typical spicy chicken sandwich and probably a safe go-to. The hot level just cracks "painful" but not unmanageably so -- might be fun as a treat. TBH I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor each sauce packed -- and how different they were. The medium is especially sweet. Go for the sando. Crank up the heat. It doesn't miss.

Quality/Quantity - You have been on my list to visit since you opened. I drink your beers in most (if not all) the local Korean Restaurants in the Bay. And at some non Korean restaurants. Today I enjoyed your Chuseok Porter, well a few of them... This by far was my favorite of all the beers I drank and tasted here. Also tasted the following: Dokkaebi IPA - Light and refreshing. Lemongrass Witbier - I can almost taste the lemongrass, another light and refreshing beer. K-Beer - Again, another light and refreshing beer. My daughter had the Calamansi & Tea Lager - This actually had more flavor then all the beers I drank except my porter. Lastly, my daughter noticed the Hazy IPA, Hazy Seoul. But I could not/did not want to drink any more. I guess I might have to rush over again before they close. For our snacks we got: KFC, Korean Fried Chicken - Not as authentic as I would have preferred. Gimmari - Wow, a home run. It helped that I have never had this before! My daughter says we will go to K-Town next time we are in LA and she will introduce me to Korean "street food." Looking forward to it. Atmosphere - Small local brewery. They also own the "kitchen" and storage area next door, see pictures. Metered street parking, but not a problem on a Sunday. And free meter parking on a Sunday. Shared restrooms with the other businesses in the building, you need a key. See pictures. Open 4 days a week (well only for one more week..) from Thursday to Sunday. See Yelp or their website. Service - Counter service, just okay. Price - $44 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020 and here since 2023.
