Usually when we go here, there isn't much people inside. The lady works the back and the counter, so sometimes it is hard to get her attention. They need a bell at the door or something. I think most people order to go, but there are some seats for people to sit and eat. It is a chill little spot. I like getting the meat lovers. The amount of toppings on it is wonderful. After a concert at Oakland Arena, we were hungry and wanted something hot and quick to eat. ARMY friend K found Edible Happy Pizzeria, which was open late and walking distance from the Marriott we were staying at. We stopped by at 11:30 pm and noticed a lot of to-go orders getting picked up, though the pizzeria has a decent amount of seating inside if you wanted to dine in. We ordered the medium one-topping pizza, with pepperoni ($20.99). We didn't have to wait long before we were back in our hotel room to dig into the hot slices of pizza. So so satisfying! Good amount of toppings, yummy stretchy cheese, and a chewy crust. Portion size was just perfect for us to be satiated, but not food comatose. If you're in a pinch and need food late in downtown Oakland, this place is great. They sell mostly pizzas - you can order whole pies (est. 10 mins wait) or by the slice. On my first visit, I ordered a pepperoni slice. Even though they gave me a cheese slice (which I didn't realize until after I left), that slice was very good. The cheese was very gooey and plentiful. Their Japanese sparkling water is also delicious, especially the white peach flavored one. The service (from an Asian man) was very friendly. On my second visit, though, the pizza (a pepperoni slice) came out under-heated (no gooey cheese). I also got a 6-pc order of Buffalo wings. Although the sauce was good, the wings were very fatty (high fat-to-meat ratio), medium to small-sized, and were mostly wings (only 1 drumstick out of 6 pieces). They didn't have the white peach sparkling water, so I tried the concord grape one, which was good but much sweeter. I walked inside and up to the counter, I was not greeted by the woman behind the counter, but I asked for a menu which was given to me. I ordered a dozen chicken wings For $13.99. I don't mind spending more than one dollar per chicken wing, but expect decent size chicken wings. These were anything but. My order was given to me in a to go box with napkins and ranch dressing. I guess they would prefer people take their orders to go, rather than sitting at their tables, which they have to clean up. The chicken wings I received look like they came from baby chickens, as they were very small. A mixture of drummies and wings, but overall not even a half pound of wings. Interesting name but the pizza is FIRE! Came in on a Sunday evening and we ordered 2 of the 20 inch pies and did half and half. One was half Happy Chicken Bacon half Happy Chicken Tikka and the other was Half Happy Cheesesteak Pizza and half Happy Paneer Tikka. The pizzas were huge and we definitely had left over so meal prep! The pizzas were delicious! The two tikka ones were so full of flavor, if you haven't had Indian pizza before, you've been missing out I'm afraid. The other two were also delicious, hard to limit yourself to not eat the entire pie. It would have been nice if there was some background music playing or something because it was quiet and we were the only ones on there at the time. First off I ordered this place around midnight. No one answered but the guy did call me back so that was cool. I ordered a large cheese pizza half olives. Garlic fries and jalapeño poppers. This place is very mediocre. My garlic fries were frozen hard fries tossed in garlic. Couldn't taste it. The jalapeño poppers were standard poppers, no ranch included. No a lot of spice. The food itself had a very strong Indian fragrance like Indian food. The pizza was flat. Update: the owner reached out to me and refunded me for the jalapeño poppers and garlic fries. I just got off of work and I went on Yelp to find some place that that is open late where I can order food. I stumbled upon Edible Happy Pizzeria, I looked at their pizza which looked delicious and then I also began reading their reviews. I sat there trying to decide if I should order their pizza. I finally decided to take a chance so I called in my order. A guy answered the phone and I stated that I would like to order a personal size veggie pizza with ranch on top. He told me that my pizza will be $23 and some change and we hung up. When I got off of the phone I thought about it and that seemed like a lot for a personal size so I decided to call back. The same guy answered the phone. I stated that I just called and placed an order for a veggie pizza and I just wanted to make sure you heard me when I said I would like a personal size. He said we don't have personal size who told you we have personal size? I said I went onto Yelp and I seen people post pictures saying that their pizza was a personal size. I said I wanted to order a personal size because it's just me. I stated that I would like to cancel that pizza for now and before I could say anything else he hung up in my face. I wanted to order wings instead but he didn't give me a chance to speak before hanging up on me. He was not very nice, that was really rude and not good customer service. You really shouldn't treat customers that way because we bring you business. If you were busy with another customer all you had to say was will you please hold.
