KFC is definitely one way to go broke eating out here in Bay Area. The price range brings it to bb.q chicken territory. I'd say bb.q has better texture especially if you like that crispy crunchy goodness. However, Noori have more meat to their chicken! Went with the usual soy garlic and tried their magic sprinkle chicken as well. Both tasted good.. they didn't overdo the cheesy flavor with the dry rub either. First time seeing soy garlic dumplings so we had to try it - soy garlic flavor yes but where's all the protein?! Each table have an ordering kiosk so it was easy experience. The staff checked up on us a few times; we also didn't have to wait long to order and receive our food either. My only complaint is the bathroom door handle was a bit stuck. Thought it was locked but it wasn't lol. Anyway, if you have some extra $ to spend this is a good spot to be.

Got take out from Noori Chicken and was very excited to try out their wings. We ordered the Soy Garlic Chicken Wings and Chili Soy Boneless Chicken. - Chili Soy boneless chicken (4/5): was crispy, moist and flavorful. But full disclaimer these are VERY spicy! The chicken was topped with chilis and we removed most of them but wheeeew we did not expect it to be that spicy. If you love spicy food and have a high spice tolerance then I do recommend you try this flavor out! - Soy Garlic chicken wings (3/5): I really wanted to like these wings but they were quite soggy and the sauce flavor was a bit on the salty side. Maybe if the chicken wings were crunchier then we likely would've liked it more. - Pickled Radish (5/5): their pickled radish was absolutely delicious!! Crunchy, sweet, sour and cut into perfect bite sized pieces! The pickled radish paired well with the saltiness of the chicken. I am glad I ordered two extra orders of this because they were great as a side snack.

Saw a friend try this new Korean fried chicken place in the neighborhood, so thought I'd try also. The inside of the small resto is cute with its awning! I appreciate the history provided in the menu also, and the variety of seasonings offered for either regular or boneless wings. The chicken itself was drier than I expected and slightly overpriced despite the generous serving. Will likely not go back.

Original and Soy Garlic. Both flavorful and so deliciously fried mm!

Noori is THE spot for deliciously prepared Korean fried chicken. Y'all, Koreans do fried chicken like nobody else. We are SO lucky to have our local spot in Lake Merritt area. Sure parking is basically impossible, but if you're local walk here and support Korean-owned and run biz. I was so excited to see them open and set up, as they just started in October of last year. I ordered for pick up on a weekday night and although I did have to wait a few mins extra, it was so worth it. High quality crunch with tender and flavorful sauces. I knew their original was gonna be fire as well as the soy garlic. Extra goodness if you have an air fryer at home and need to reheat these bad boys. Their 8pc is enough for two meals for one person, and I love that you have the option to do half/half so more ways to try all their flavors! I haven't seen much competition with Korean FC up here in Oakland. The South Bay is so lucky, they have Gen, Chimek, Bonchon, Vonz, bb.q--you get it. SO many options, so I'm really grateful Noori has made it to Oakland. The interior is hella cute too, K-pop music videos and music playing, and a warm but cool aesthetic. Service may be slow and sparse, but they're still young and figuring out organization. Send them a lil Korean heart. FIGHTING!

I could almost eat KFC every day if it wouldn't kill me. Appreciate how there's the option to get half/half of two flavors for every order to have more variety! We ordered a 16 piece boneless chicken ($35.99) in soy garlic and magic sprinkle. More on the pricey side. Soy garlic is always my favorite, but I enjoyed how the magic sprinkle isn't too overloaded and overpowering with powder where I feel like I'm constantly snorting it as I'm breathing. That's a problem I tend to have with dry rubbed wings, and Noori completely avoids it! The chicken pieces were also pretty full and loaded with meat instead of being artificially inflated with breading - another win! The small downside is that I found the meat to be more on the dry and whiter side rather than juicy dark meat. Maybe I should try the bone-in pieces next time. I was also intrigued to see soy garlic dumplings ($9.99) as an add on and decided to give that a try too. There wasn't any description about the filling on the menu, and it appeared to be mostly greens on the inside :( But the outer skin was fried very crispy and nicely covered in soy garlic sauce that it was tasty nonetheless! But probably just a one time thing for me to try.

The magic wings are delicious. I get them every time I order from here. We also had the bulgogi gimbap and seafood pancake. Auntie took care of us quickly - the ordering via the tablet is super easy. It's very clean inside and decorative. So many pictures of IU and chansul soju! Whether it's dining in or door dash, Noori is going to make it into the regular rotation for our Korean food cravings.

June was an awesome server. The place is very cute, decorated like the outside tents in Korea. The food was really good - best Korean Fried Chicken I've had in the area. The radish was also really good. The fries came out hot and were free since we spent over $30 dining in. The table next to us shared a Supreme wing and that flavor is good but too spicy for my kiddos. They were raving about how good the Cole slaw was so I'll have to check it out next time!

New place in my work neighborhood that looked intriguing. Who doesn't love KFC...Korean Fried Chicken, am I right? The dining room was welcoming in a festive and whimsical way, with a video projected on the wall, and indoor awnings in bright colors. The tables even have a tablet to place your orders, or you can walk up to the counter and plug it in. I was going to order the lunch special, but at 3:01, the system locked me out of that option. So I ordered the 8 piece chicken with sweet and mild sauce and pickled radish as a side. Off the top, the sides that go with the order are limited- pickled radish, coleslaw or rice. You'll have to pay extra for fries, or kimchi rice, which was a little disappointing. Regardless, when I opened my boxes, I was surprised to see healthy pieces of boneless fried chicken, with the perfect crunchiness I have come to love and expect in KFC. The sweet and mild coating was also good and was exactly what I was craving. I also ordered a side in section "B" of the menu: The Soy Garlic Dumplings. They were crispy fried and crunchy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. There were also enough to keep you satisfied with extra for a friend. It wasn't an inexpensive meal, but the flavors and textures were spot on. Next time, I think I'll try their spicy seafood soup. By the description, it sounds delicious!

Bulgogi Kimbop and Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad (Sooooo good!!)

Two experiences to note: One in person and the other as a deliverable. In person: Such a great spot for good and filling food at a good price and in such a cozy and vibrant atmosphere! Each table setting has its own screen-menu (although the staff are not far away to help navigate or take your order personally). The screen-menus make it very easy to order by guest and split tabs as needed. Note that there is So much on the menu that pictures of the food is very helpful when attempting to make a choice! Pics of the chicken drew me in and the quality along with the variety in items makes me delight in going back! Not sure if I have the words for the Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad so here's just one - Splendid!!!! All of the chicken I've had at Noori has been crispy outside and tender and juicy inside; but it's the crispy and tender chicken chunks in the salad along with sliced cherry tomatoes, fresh and crisp Romain lettuce covered in a light Caesar dressing that complements it all that really makes this my absolute favorite dish here! (Note that the salad portion is quite healthy so sharing a salad is surely an option- especially if you're having more than one menu item!) There is an incredible range of chicken from just fried (with very tasty seasoning by the way), to Soy Garlic, Chili Soy, Sweet & Mild, Hot & Spicy, Supreme (Mild Spicy), and even a slightly sweet dry seasoning of what they show as Magic Sprinkle. (Note that I may have missed some flavors, but these are the ones I have had the pleasure of tasting). I must applaud that all chicken items I have experienced at Noori has been crispy outside and moist inside consistently! Along with the wide variety of flavors, quality of consistency, there really is something here for everyone that enjoys tasty chicken. They also serve chicken boneless if that is preferable. As table "gift" items for what I'd think is for a party of 2 or more, Noori gave us French fries and Dumplings - again, quite tasty and ensured we all left full and content! Deliverable experience: I am pleased! The Bulgogi Kimbob arrived perfectly in its container, and I still had enough of the Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad to have two portions! (Note that dressing is served on the side so the lettuce was still crispy and delicious upon arrival)! I look forward to my next visit to try other items and repeat-eat some of my favs! Definitely would recommend Noori to friends and anyone looking for good, affordable Korean food, tasty chicken and/or simply a Splendid Salad

    Bulgogi bibimbap
    Soo K.

I was delighted when I saw that Nori Chicken was available on DoorDash. I'm a huge fan of KFC, but I was even happier knowing they offered bibimbap on their menu. I love having bibimbap for lunch and usually order takeout from Korean restaurants around Oakland. However, I find many of them mediocre; at that point, I'd make it myself at home. But after trying their bibimbap, I thought, "Just take my money!" Their bibimbap is well-balanced in flavors and textures, and I like their gochujang sauce; it has the perfect blend of spice and sweetness. I wish they provided more extra sauce, as my bowl was pale. Additionally, I appreciate that they offer complimentary miso soup and kimchi. The miso soup was a bit bland, but it was still fine without it, while their kimchi was great--crunchy and tangy. I ordered their magic sprinkle for the chicken, which had a unique flavor. The wings hinted at sweetness, reminiscent of a Korean corn dog. I ordered through delivery, and the crunchiness of the chicken was a solid 10/10--it arrived hot! I will be ordering more of their bibimbap and chicken again and again. Their portions are generous; my boyfriend and I had leftovers for dinner.

Did I just find the best Korean wings in East bay? Let's talk chicken quality --juicy, tender, no dryness with red veins from them bones. Flavor -- hot & spicy-- some hint of cinnamon, enough sweetness, not thick enough to bore the tastebuds but thin enough to taste the heat. Chili soy -- sweet and hot, nothing you can't handle Soju-- Enough selections to give you Korean vibes and experience. Always choose Saero if you ask me :) Service-- No complaints Don't ask if it's better than Bonchon--Bonchon lacks quality period. Ask if it's better than Bb.q chicken--it's different in the breading, crispness, and flavor, but quality is not lacking! Their sauce and breading reminds me of Love Letter in Orange County but crispier and lighter. Quality of the chicken reminds me of Koko from (GG) Orange County 11/10 would come back and drink another 2 bottles of soju with my partner.

Excellent KFC. Crunchy batter. Great flavor. Big meaty wings. Ordered a 16pc to go and I will definitely be back to try the lunch combo next time. This spot gives off cool Korea vibes. Their tasty chicken is made to order, so definitely call in ahead if you're in a rush.

I think it's the best chicken I've had hands down. The chicken is tender, crispy and saucy. The chicken is made to perfection. I am from NY and I feel it's better than any place I've gone to back at home. Beats Mad for Chicken if you know the place in NYC. Would definitely return here when visiting the Bay Area. The staff are nice also and restaurant is clean and chill.

The vibe is great, and the food definitely delivers on flavor. We tried quite a bit--the first Friday taco, chicken sandwiches, Mexican hot dog, and asada tacos--and everything was honestly amazing. It was so good that we came back the next day before leaving town just to have it again. Service was about an 8/10. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to one moment that didn't sit right with me. I watched a waitress bring out fries to a guest, the guest started eating them, and then she came back to say it was a mistake and took them away after he was already halfway through. That just didn't feel very service-oriented. In a situation like that, it would have been better to acknowledge the mistake and let the guest keep the fries on the house. Taking back half-eaten food felt like poor judgment. That said, the overall experience was still very positive. Great atmosphere, great flavors, and definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out if you're in the area.
