The car was finally delivered this week, and MAG provided a quote of $840 (15K miles) and $815 (12K) for the lease payment. The car price was ~42K. After some complaining the amount was reduced to ~730. That's a difference of $316.02 or $11,376 over the term of the lease! These inflated payments did not match in any way the calculators on the Volvo website, or Edmunds.com, and there was no real explanation for the increase, but I had been previously been assured that the agreed car cost would not be affected by tariffs. Understand there are taxes etc that were not included in the estimated payment, and the market for imported cars has been pretty much blown up, but this despicable behavior from a brand that calls itself premium. And BTW, this would have been the 4th car I have bought from MAG. Never again.

I've owned an Odyssey purchase there for about five years, and a couple years into it I got a flat tire in my garage from a sheet metal screw. Turns out the driver side wheel liner and plastic shield underneath the engine had been reinstalled with sheet metal screws at some point prior to our purchase. I was annoyed and contacted the corporate office only be told that their inspection should not be the basis of a purchasing decision. This vehicle also had a clean Carfax report. This brings me to today. During a recent family vacation, the driver side fender started popping out, pulled the wheel liner that then shredded against the tire, and exposed a rather extensive Bondo job. So my Odyssey now sits in a body shop with about $1,600 in estimated repairs. I was a little too trusting and assumed that these sort of issues would have been discovered prior to selling a vehicle. Really hoping this wasn't a CarMax repair.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were in search of a tire rim to fit a Pontiac Sunfire. There were quite a few customers shopping, so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes in line before we were helped. The lady was doing all the directing; also was the go-between for the workers in the yard and what customers were looking for. She was polite, had a good sense of humor, but she was also direct with her customers - a no bullshit type of gal :) Since one must sign a waiver, and all that jazz, to go out and find your part, Richy our friend did all the searching. Found a rim, unfortunately it still had an obvious-gashed tire still sealed to it. The gentleman behind the counter gave us the rim without charging for the tire (since it wasn't in good condition, and that's not what we were looking for anyway). For $7 we were able to walk out happy!

Bought a replacement rim/wheel & a replacement donut/spare for my Cadillac 2005 CTS. Took them directly to my usual tire shop, Brown's Tire Sales off Trabue Rd. John at Brown's tried to put the wheel on, but the center hole was too small, so we realized they sold me the wrong wheel. The donut/spare fit just fine. The replacement & the spare came from two different vehicles. Central City was closed by then, so I took the wrong wheel back 2 days later when I had time. Ladies at front desk argued w me about the wheel not fitting, even though they knew the donut fit just fine. They didn't have another wheel, but said they could order one for me, but I needed one that day. We went back & forth for a few min before one of the girls came around, took the wheel & rudely said "I'm done with this!" She asked for my debit card for the refund, but kept 30% of the credit as a restocking fee. I argued this as well because they gave me the wrong wheel, but she did not care at all. They even had the nerve to act as though I was the one being unreasonable in the situation. They used to have better business practices & etiquette when the place was managed by Jim Mooney, but he's been gone about a year now. Good customer service & customer satisfaction appears to have left with him. I'll never return to Central City for anything & I highly suggest nobody else does either.
