I enjoyed my visit to Editions. Take note of the operating hours. The drive-thru opens at 7am. Inside bookstore opens at 9am. There is plenty of parking behind the bookstore. I had a Large chai latte and a warm apple danish. They bring your drink and food out to you. Both items were very tasty. Editions has a very social and friendly environment. There were a couple of people catching up over drinks. They also played nice, relaxing music throughout the shop. They offer plenty of 2- and 4-person tables and a large group table. I walked around the bookstore while I was there. They have a great variety genres available. Again, it was a nice visit. I'll definitely be back for another visit. read more

Discovered this charming bookstore today on an adventure in Kannapolis. It's a delightful homey atmosphere . There is a coffee shop inside. I ordered a delicious latte and enjoyed it on the porch area. I noticed they offer lots of activities & story times so be sure to check the calendar of events out. Coffee is really good! I enjoy grabbing a drink on the way out to walk my pup. Staff are always so friendly, even before they knew me. I like meeting clients here because it's cozy and quiet. The book store is really cool! They have trivia and events really often. I haven't participated in these due to my work schedule but I see the flyers and they seem interesting and fun when I drop by. This place has quickly become my favorite spot in town. It took me over a year to get to it but I'm glad I finally did and have been back a number of times since. After the most chaotic year, I found a place to work remotely from time to time and sip a coffee. I have even found a few books in the meantime. It's nice to lose time here as every single person has been great. You can find new and used books, tons of stuff for kids, games, puzzles, tons of gifts, and more. I have many books to get through at home still but this is now the only place I will support for books (other than the library). So normally I dont write reviews, but I have been going to editions since shortly after they opened and I absolutely love it. For years I had been looking for I good iced coffee "drink" and by God does editions have it. They have the best iced vanilla latte I've had anywhere, their seasonal drinks are all wonderful, and they now adding a drive thru! If you are a fan of coffee you should definitely give them a try. Just visited this little gem for the first time today. I bought two books, one was a 50 cent romance by Nora Roberts and the other was a $10.00 daily devotion by Charles Colson. The store is spotless and super organized. It is located in an old house and there is lots of light and plenty of seating. The atmosphere is open, fresh and comfortably welcoming. I got a hot Chai Tea and it was good. My husband got a regular coffee and it was good. The employees were on point with service and attitude ~ very helpful and energetic. We love this place! My wife and I have came here multiple times. Typically it's fantastic coffee and fantastic service. The service was decent this Saturday, but when ordering a chocolate chip cookie, they gave me raisin. And ordering an Iced Carmel macchiato, they gave us a hot one, even after ordering extra caramel and not getting it...they dumped the warm on ice and that's all. Terrible experience. read more

This place is the cutest! As soon as I walked in I wanted to crawl up on their couch with a book and drink some hot coffee and I do t even like hot coffee! The barista was adorable and recommended the mocha, which was really good; One of the best I've had. I picked up a muffin and it was good, but I think it might've been from Sams Club. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, just local baked stuff would be good, too). The interior is so homey and warm feeling, and I didn't want to leave but they were closing soon so I kind of had to. There's so many books and you can get used books that are in with the newer books at a lower price. It's pretty awesome how the rooms are set up by genre and everything just makes sense. The baristas here are so friendly. I've never been in when I wasn't greeted with a smile. The selection of coffee and espresso drinks seems limitless. If you are looking for a great book to read this is the place to shop. It's such a great place that local authors can often be found at a table near a window working on their latest book. One of my favorite coffee shops in this area. I've found some really cheap art books here and the coffee is great and a great price. I love the atmosphere, except every once in a while it can get loud. Otherwise, the staff is friendly. The music is ALWAYS great. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the wifi. Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but rarely can I ever figure out how to connect to their wifi. I've tried many times and it just never seems to work. This is literally one of the best places on the planet. As a writer, I go here all the time to write and have a frappe. The dining room setup is wonderful with a quiet view of downtown Kannapolis. The main focus seems to be coffee and donuts/pastries, books are a definite afterthought. Although there's a good number of used books, the selection is pretty much the same every time I've been there. Prices range from $2-3 to $10 ( yikes! ) for used mass market paperbacks. Not sure how many folks bring in books to trade, as there doesn't seem to be a lot of new additions whenever I visit. Maybe the local author selection is better, but for my interests there's not much here. read more

I want to love this place; I really do. I can't wrap my head around a coffee shop that only has one hour of free wifi. It is 2019. I had to load everything back up to leave so that I could continue working, as I need the internet. I was only halfway done with my drink.
