The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). The vibe is friendly, relaxed, and everyone behind the bar has been consistently great. One moment really sold me on this place: I accidentally placed a to-go order to the wrong Summit location. Totally my fault. They didn't make it a thing at all--just made my drink on the spot and didn't charge me again. That kind of customer service sticks with you. My usual is a decaf Americano. Simple order, but they nail it every time. You still get that nice richness and "oiliness" you want from good coffee, and you can tell they're using fresh beans. They also recently added a breakfast sandwich that is ridiculously good. Definitely on the decadent side--not an everyday thing--but perfect to split with someone if you're watching calories, or to fully lean into if you're in cheat-meal mode.
