The mission behind this coffee shop is amazing! I love to support them. Inside is nicely decorated and the staff are always friendly. I've tried a couple coffees from this shop, and they're pretty average-tasting or less unfortunately. That being said, I still love the mission and what they do for the community. read more

Sunday morning and this place was hopping. A significant queue that never did seem to get resolved while I was here and watching. This is a nice spot for sitting and working on laptops as there is power at each of the high top tables, the wifi worked well and the coffee is good. I'm not sure how long you can park along West Avenue but on the weekend it did not seem to be limited. I enjoyed my drip coffee and I enjoyed writing a Yelp review or five. This was a comfy space. Great coffee spot in downtown Kannapolis NC! I stopped in a few days ago for an afternoon caffeine fix. There were plenty of places to sit, and the plenty of coffee drinks on the menu. I really liked the vibe in this place with the military & police / fire patches decorating the wall near bathrooms. They also offer a small selection of snacks. Go with the chocolate chip cookies. Parking is a bit difficult. Half the street was turned into a pedestrian mall which is nice and you can sit outside. I ended up parking a block or so away. read more

Two old (very) Vietnam veterans enjoyed a time of manly fellowship this afternoon at Local Patriot Roasting Co. in downtown Kannapolis. Inexplicably, it was my first time in this delightful locally owned, cozy coffee shop which has been open for four years. The ambiance is superb with a wide range of options for beverages and light snacks. Jeff had English Breakfast tea; while I enjoyed seasonal (Halloween / fall) coffee. The staff is personable and professional. The emphasis on veterans was impressive with a "Pay It Forward" chalk board which allows customers to buy beverages for veterans of any branch of armed service, first responders, firefighters, and police. Jeff and I donated beverages to any Army veteran who may wish to avail themselves of a free beverage. There was a wall where veterans co9uld place patches of units with which they had served. Jeff and I plan to add to the extensive collection. All in all, it is a great place and much preferred over Starbucks and other coffee houses I have frequented. The baristas were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a hot and an iced coffee...both were delicious. We also purchased the "Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown" dark roast whole bean and the barista offered to grind it for us. That was pleasantly unexpected. So I've been going to this coffee shop ever since I've moved to kannapolis in July. I always go in the morning where there is a lovely women who Makes delicious coffee. I just went in maybe 10 mins ago (1:20pm) purchased two lg cold brew iced coffee with Carmel and I asked for extra sweet. Since I've been a frequent for nearly two months I know what to expect. Well let me tell you. The coffee was terrible, I called to notify I was just there (I was the only one there I just came in ) and they should check the cold brew because it taste aweful and it normally does not taste this way. We stopped in town to see the Dale Earnhardt statue and plaza are were kind of shocked with what a cute town we found. Our first stop was in this awesome coffee shop. The woman behind the counter asked what we would like and my wife asked for a recommendation. The woman pointed to a board that has all the baristas names and what their favorite drink is. My wife ordered off of that and I ordered a mocha. One of the coolest things I've seen is that they actually have a board where you can donate a cup of coffee to a police officer, firefighter, EMS, active military or nurses. We chose military for members of our family serving and police as I am former police. Be sure to swing in get a cup, then you can hangout or do what we did and explore the downtown revitalization project that are just about finished. I can't wait to stop in town again and maybe catch a ball game across the street. read more

I live about five minutes from this coffee shop so it is my usual go to but even before moving to Kannapolis I would take my dog on walks around downtown and have always enjoyed their coffee. Even talking about price their coffee is so cheap compared to other places and it tastes great I also love the cherry blossom red bull its amazing! Remind me a lot of Dutch Bros rebels. Their service is always great and I love that my dog can come in with me as well and get a pup cup. read more

I actually feel more patriotic and inspired to recognize our country's heroes when I go in here. Don't worry about it, you'll see what I mean! Adorable. That aside, the coffee is delicious. The service is sweet and efficient, the price is fair, and they have what you're looking for. Me, hot oat milk latte is my drink of choice for many years, and my guy just wants a simple drip when he's resisting a caramel macchiato of some kind. Yes they also have all the teeth rotting blood glucose spiking, coffee, beverages you love as well... L O L it appears the coffee is roasted right there in the back too, for me, this is a plus because they ain't playing, they care about coffee! it feels like there's usually between two to big groups of happy chatting people in here which gives it a warm vibe, paired with the rustic wood decor. Friendly service and pretty good coffee. The shop itself is in such a cute area that is perfect to grab a drink and walk around. My cold brew with sweet cold foam was good however I would have preferred a lid that allowed me to sip directly out of it rather than a straw since you don't appreciate the foamy aspect. Definitely love this place! We go every Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday I'm legit addicted to their iced vanilla latte w oatmilk. LOVE what they are about If I could give any constructive feedback it would be concerning the customer service aspect. No one has ever been rude but the friendliness is lacking from what I've experienced. I also did have one negative scenario where we ordered iced lattes as we always had and they tasted strange and sour so we asked for a remake. The second was the same so we asked if anything had changed. They let us know then that they had changed their iced lattes from traditional hot espresso shots, milk and ice to cold brew, milk and ice. It was honestly a bummer cause we had to pay for them to remake it with hot shots but we were never told about this change and to our understanding a latte is made with espresso shots. Anyway, we still come and still recommend but I think it would be good to specify between the traditional and cold brew style latte. Also, in the future to not charge a customer if they had not received what was asked for and paid for initially. Def try it out. Super cute and they love on our military/law enforcement so that's a win win read more
