This is definitely a one of a kind environment that catches your eye. The inside of this bar is so cool. There are bills covering every wall, pole, and the whole ceiling that people write on. It was a pretty busy night so you had to squeeze through to get to the bar and dance floor. Not really my type of music to dance to - but there were people vibing throughout the place. Tried the lunchbox and it was alright! I actually did not know that you had to chug it down, so I drank it like a regular glass of beer. Lol. When I went, there was also a guy selling hot dogs outside, which is always a good idea when you are drunk and hungry. Fun place with some cool drinks. The lunch boxes are good, and super cold. We had some called thunderbox as well. Those would be cool on St. Patty's day since the blue curacao makes them green. The bartenders were nice, and there were several of them even though there were only 20-30 people in there. There was a small girl bartender with red hair I think that was really friendly and professional. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because you can still smoke in there. This used to be my go to bar but, it just got to be so douchey! The drinks got smaller and the service got worse. I miss this bar the way it used to be. The last two times I found giant pieces of glass in my lunchbox and was blown off when I reported it. I know they can cram more people in when they take the chairs and tables, but it has lost its small bar appeal. read more

Edna's is one of the best Dive bars in OKC! The walls have dollar bills stapled to it, decent drinks, fun atmosphere and if you play "Great Balls of Fire" on the jukebox, Edna the owner will dance on top of the bar counter! It's not clean but no real dive bar is. If you can put up with cigarette smoke and want a relaxing place to hang out with friends, this is the place for you. Edna's is a solid option for a dive bar type of night. It's nothing fancy and the seating options are limited, especially since they take the bar seats away after 10 or 11. My friends dragged me over here after Speakeasy saying that I had to try and lunchbox. When I got in, I was half expecting to get a nice sandwich, some chips, and a drink. Little did I know, LUNCHBOXES ARE SO MUCH MORE! Somehow this combo of beer, orange juice, and amaretto works so well. The atmosphere is very crowded, sweaty, and frat-party-esque, but whatever it's worth it to get some lunch boxes. If you're claustrophobic, definitely stay away! I am really not much of a bar hopper - I'd rather go chill somewhere that's not packed shoulder-to-shoulder, as Edna's often is on the weekends - but when I do go out, I enjoy Edna's. I'm surprised by the harsh reviews here. It is a very college atmosphere, but during the week or outside of peak hours, I think it's a great little dive bar. The bar is asses and elbows. And smoke. And people trying really hard to be cool. But the lunchboxes are pretty delicious, and it always seems to be the jumping-off point to the next bar. Yes, you could complain about the smoke and the crowd, but sooner or later, you have to face the inevitable. It's like country music: no matter how much you hate it, you're in Oklahoma, and you're going to hear it. You can make peace with it--even start to like it a little--or you can suffer while the rest of the gang votes on Edna's. It's a'ight. A little challenging to find with Siri, but we made it. Edna's is an ordinary dive bar with cheap beer, TVs, music and space to hang. Can't say it was bad, but it certainly was not memorable. One item I did not like was that when we sat down and ordered, but bartender pushed a "house special" drink on us, even though we just wanted a traditional beer (Coors Light). Well we took two sips and said we did not like it and wanted what we originally ordered. She brought the beer, but when we cashed out, she made us pay for the crap drink that she pushed! We stopped into Edna's on a recent trip to OKC. It's a cool bar with attentive and friendly bartenders and patrons. Drinks are reasonably priced and they do allow smoking which to me is a bonus. The only complaint that I have and it's not against Edna's is getting into the parking lot. If you use a GPS to find it the GPS will show that it is on N Classen Blvd. and not on 5137 N Classen Cir. which when trying to get there at night can be a chore if you are not familiar with the area. read more

This place is RACIST. They overcharge blacks, Asians, and Hispanics for the drink bill. When you contest the charges, the manager threatens to call the police and kicks you out. You can get a watery $6 pitcher of Coors light, and that is the best thing I can say about this place. I normally like dives, but this place was the worst kind of poser dive. There was a college crowd, lots of well coiffed ladies and men in college sports wear, standing around because there no place to sit, in a smoky box with garth brooks playing on the radio. It was genuinely dirty, but still somehow seemed to lack any type of soul or character. For my dollar bills, I much prefer the HiLo lounge across the street. read more
