I drove past this place many a time before I actually stopped in. Once I did though, I wanted to kick myself for not getting here sooner...no pun intended. This place is the closest thing to an Austin dive bar that I've been able to find and I love it for just that reason. Nothing like a little piece of home and a hilariously friendly staff to make you feel welcome. I would feel remised if I didn't point out that it does get smokey in here, for those that are turned off by this fact. Just because I like this place doesn't mean that you will.

Gus catering to the older broads. He's still got it!

I had my first White Castle burger laying on the floor at this place. When the weather is nice the patio is great. Ask for the world famous Moon Bomb! Place reminds me of Patty's Pub on Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Great place to get weird!

Animal friendly as long as they have a leash!

This is a decent hang out. You can get a good variety of drinks. The atmosphere makes for a casual place to mingle.

Decent little dive bar, eclectic people for sure but that's always fun and I have yet to find any anywhere that can beat their prices!

I finally made my way here tonight before a work get together and initially I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. It is very cozy and intimate, and there are not many bars like it in OKC. However, when it came to the bartenders (two from my interaction) and cocktails -- my experience was less than cozy. Long story short, I asked for an espresso martini, a basic drink I know. And I was told as such by both bartenders working, one of which called me 'boring'. They wanted me to try a drink off their menu, and I respect the pride and effort this business put into crafting unique, holiday cocktails. However, none of them spoke to me tonight, and I wanted a run of the mill espresso martini. One bartender asked if I would be willing to try one of their drinks similar to an espresso martini, to which I agreed, however I still did not enjoy and requested a regular (boring and basic) espresso martini. They said they typically avoid making these popular drinks, but made an exception for me. Which is really unfortunate, because it was one of the best espresso martinis I've had in the city. Both bartenders later apologized for their comments, but I'm unsure if they were genuine or trying to save face. All in all, if you're willing to explore untraditional cocktails with a cozy vibe, you should try this place. If you have a simple pallet, that doesn't need to be wowed, it's questionable if you should visit. If this review doesn't get me banned, I may give it another try. Happy drinking!

Additionally, I found out I'd lost my ID, called on a day they were closed, someone immediately answered, and he told me that they had a box of 200+ IDs. When I told him I lived in Norman and couldn't make it down to rummage through them, he offered to look through the box for me. That kind of commitment to service is what will keep me coming back to Redneck Yacht Club. It's obvious that management really cares about their customers.

Those underaged are not permitted to lounge in the "bar area". They have a mechanical bull and charge $3 each ride. Well endowed females tend to last longer on the ride and more so when they remove their top, while anyone not meeting their standards of "hot" is quickly bucked off. The establishment's music and most staff are sub par and am surprised it is still operating. There were few instances when fights were imminent and were subdued by patrons, security following up when the issue had dissolved. They have 4 pool tables that are always busy. It is best for teens to wait to go to an actual bar than waste money and time on this establishment as it presents a false expectation of what decent establishments have to offer. All could have been said with one word: raunchy. Better off at a strip club.
