Every time I'd stop at the traffic light of Merrick Rd. and Vincent Ave. I'd see this tiny place with a neon "Sushi Take Out" sign. It just looks like the type of place that would be good. It is. I've gotten take out from here twice. The specialty rolls are huge and very tasty. Salmon lovers is my personal favorite. If you like something with a little more kick, the volcano roll is good as well. We usually get another simple roll, usually Alaska, some spring rolls, and some edamame. Great quality sushi and definitely the best prices around- $2.95 for standard rolls, $5.95 for most special rolls. A little difficult to find, the store front is so inconspicuous, and there are trees in front (although we did go late at night). Some people can be a bit uptight about sushi to the point where they will insist on paying more for it. Don't let their prices or the small size of this place fool you, this is a quality establishment. My wife and I have been getting our sushi here for a while now and it has always been fresh and dependable. I've eaten at places twice as expensive and been disappointed. I was looking for a local Japanese place with Kani Su on the menu, and this is what I found. I decided to do a little girls' date with my five year-old I actually passed the place twice, it's so small and unassuming. We ordered my Kani Su (amazing cucumber and crab salad appetizer) and the chicken teriyake bento box dinner, which includes miso soup, salad, gyoza, California roll, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and fried rice. Everything was delicious, even my daughter liked every single thing we had. And the portions were very very generous for the prices. We both ate til we were completely full and still had plenty of leftovers to take home. We spent $22 (including drinks.) Can't beat that. We went back again for the red snapper bento box, and mannnnn that was some incredible snapper. Cooked perfectly, and so tasty. They deliver too. I highly recommend this place! read more

Ever since I started coming here a year ago, no other sushi compares! I usually come for dinner after work. The place is small but that doesn't bother me because most people do take out. Their sushi is so fresh and yummy! And they make it for me with brown rice which is my preferance. I've taken a few people here and they all love it as much as I do. Sushi from this place wasn't eatable. Horrible quality of fish especially red color dyed Tuna was worst I've seen. Very shameful that people call that Sushi. Had to threw more than half of Sushi Deluxe. I will have to make sure pay decent amount of money to get Sushi from Inatome in future. There are no such thing cheap Sushi. I went there because of reviews are good but found myself those reviews are not true and would like to let people know that you won't try them, if you have more than average taste buds. read more

This place has the tastiest sushi at the tastiest price soo cheap 2.95 for cooked rolls and 3.15 for raw rolls. The special rolls are only 6 bucks! They used to do half priced sushi on Tuesday's but got rid of it :( my favorite is the yellowtail jalapeño roll. Ordered Scallion pancakes and shrimp dumpling soup. Pancakes would have been GREAT if they came with a sauce but alone were bland. Shrimp dumpling soup was composed of frozen gyoza dumplings in a simple broth, with nothing else. No vegetable, no nothing. Why the three stars? I have been to Edo on numerous occasions. The restaurant is rather small. Edo is more for delivery and take out. However, the sushi is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The salmon and other raw fish tastes extremely fresh. The entrees are also very good. Very consistent food quality. The prices are also very good too. How many places can you get a $3 sushi roll? I live far away and they deliver to my house pretty quickly considering how they make the sushi. read more

Edo is THE BEST for take-out sushi! Their prices are competitive and much more affordable than your typical place, and their sushi/fish is delicious. The quality and freshness is on par with any fancy restaurant. Plus, they've recently edited their menu and added more rolls on with ingredients like lobster salad and mango. I wouldn't recommend sitting down to eat or taking a date unless you just want a quick lunch with a friend, as it's tiny and can seat about 8 people. It is a sushit not sushi! I ordered 3 rolls and neither one of them tasted decent. I dont know how old is this seafood but it made me nauseous and I got a light headache. Rolls themselves are stuffed in these small containers and when you remove them they look terrible (or maybe they looked as terrible before they put them into container?).
