Excited to find some good boba options in Long Island! We ordered the oolong milk tea with boba (70% sugar) & the lychee lime with nata jelly (50% sugar). Highly recommend going with the lower sugar levels - these were already sweet enough for me, and I'd probably back the milk tea down to 50% too. The lychee lime was super refreshing & tasty, and the oolong tea was fragrant. My fiance thought the boba tasted a bit burnt though. Not sure if it's because of the sugar, but it did taste a little off. Texture was good though. read more

For some strange reason 4 or more bubble tea establishments have opened up in town and I have been intent on trying all of them. I pass all of them consistently bc they are a block or less away from each other. Anyhow, they all offer different fare so at least there is variety ! At Tsaocaa I ordered a strawberry slush green tea crystal pearl and it was handed to me in a reusable cup ! Like that a lot. The drink itself was so refreshing and yummy. I ordered with 70% sugar, and at first the crystal pearls at the bottom I was not too much of a fan of, but when the drink was finished the pearls were pink soaked from the drink and the salty milk foam mixed at the bottom and that was a nice combo! They have a great selection of flavors and I highly recommend trying them out. read more

I was a fan of Tsaôcaa the first time I tried them years ago in one of their other locations in the boroughs. Years later happy to see one open up closer to home. I happen to win their Instagram Grand Opening contest, so more than better reason to check them out. This small bubble tea shop is one of three located on South Park Avenue in Rockville Centre oddly within walking distance of each other. For my winnings I redeemed them with my sister. I got $20 credit to spend at the shop and a cute boba keychain for the winnings. Compared to other boba shops they have quite the expansive menu of drinks to choose from. From coconut slushes, classic boba drinks, yogurt slushes, mojitos and fruit teas. They also serve food you can have with your drinks. They have various desserts like bubble waffles, Mille crepes of many different flavors, tiramisu. They also serve fried chicken tenders for those craving something savory, which I intend to try next time. I ordered the taro latte which had a nice deep purple color and soft boba on the bottom. The taro latte has this creamy smooth coconut taro taste which was super unique from other places I've had taro boba tea. The boba was super soft and made to the right doneness. My sister got the iced coconut slush with crystal pearls and coconut jelly. That combo tasted amazing. It was creamy, refreshing and light. The crystal pearls and coconut jelly also were super soft and pleasing to the palate. We shared the ube Millie crepe which was packed with ube flavor within the layers of cream and thin crepes. The workers were really nice. When ordering you can order either with the person or their self serve machine to the right of the register. The facility is super clean with bar seating and a few tables to sit at. There is also a public restroom within the shop. There is also cute picture art all around the shop. Nice and bright and the staff was friendly. Loved that they had a few seats for people to sit and chat. My friend and I were there a couple hours enjoying our drinks and the ube cake we got. The cake was delicious 10/10 would recommend. It was a nice size too for us to share. Would come here again if in the area. read more

Cloud mist milk green tea great for 575 off Uber Eats. A good amount for the price, and it might even be cheaper in stores. However, the drink was too misty, I couldn't even see the ice cubes in the drink at the top. I couldn't really put my finger on the taste. I've had green milk tea before and this tasted more milky than that. Cloud mist milk and green tea. A pure white drink with no hint of green. I guess the clouds mist covers up green tea leaves. I got the Coconut Slush with coconut jelly. I've never had that jelly before ever. That's what made me want to try it. I paired it with an Ube Mille Crepe. I ordered Taro slush with bubbles which was in the menu and i got Taro milk Green Tea slush. I never said i like with green tea. Plus i specifically said i dont like with tea. no wonder i cant taste the Taro. Plus for this drink they only have large and Xlarge size, which i think is too much. The energy in here was off as soon as we walked in. There was one other couple in there and they were laughing with the cashier. The cashier just glanced at us and didnt say anything. We did not get greeted by her and we stood there to order for a few minutes after the other couple sat down. The cashier again didn't say anything. she was working and kept glancing at us and never once did she say we had to order with the iPad on the counter. We just figured that after standing there ready for a few minutes. We shouldn't have even ordered after this but we did. While Making our order, a tablet was dinging, so I figured she was making online orders while she was making ours. She put a few drinks in the counter, but we didn't know if it was ours because she was putting out a few drinks. We were waiting for a few minutes after the drinks were already made and she just said "these are yours". She put out a few drinks so idk how we were supposed to know which were ours. She just had such a bad attitude with us. She was laughing and talking with the couple in front of us, even while she was making the drinks. The waiting and time wasn't even a problem, it looked like she was alone so it makes sense it took a while. It was just the hostile energy toward us and then turning being friendly to other customers right in front of us as if we did something to upset her. And the boba was too sweet.
