*** Ed's Cleaning was OUTSTANDING *** As a military family we have done many moves during our 20+ years of service and we were well aware that the house we rented in Pacific Grove, CA needed to be clean when we moved out to maximize the return of our deposit. During previous moves I have made attempts to clean on my own which was a very tedious and stressful process taking many days. I was not in the mood this time around especially since we were on a time crunch. I found Ed's Cleaning on Yelp and because of his flawless reviews I was looking forward to giving his company a try. I gave Ed's cleaning a call and Ed himself responded immediately to my call and was extremely professional. He set up a quick appointment within a few days for an estimate and assured me that he would be able to take care of all my requests. During the estimate Ed described in detail everything that would be taken care of based off of my needs and he provided me with very reasonable price quote. I informed Ed that my movers were possibly still going to be in the house finishing up on the day of the cleaning (two days to pack, one day to load) but Ed was willing to work around them no problem. The appointment was set and everything was good to go. Then... I get a call from the movers telling me that they would be a day late for the scheduled "two day move" and now it would have to be completed in one day... ugh. I immediately called Ed and he once again assured me it would be no problem. Ed and his team were able to work around the movers get all of the cleaning done, shampoo the carpets and even helped the movers by moving and staging some of the furniture while the movers were out shuttling my household goods onto the semi. All this without even getting in the way of the movers even though the movers were cutting into the schedule I had arranged with Ed (they were supposed to be done before Ed started the cleaning). Wow! Bathrooms, kitchen, blinds, carpet, all immaculately cleaned, scrubbed and dusted. On my request, Ed even went above and beyond and provided me with a final trash removal service for all the leftover "after mover" trash (for a small addition fee). In addition he came to the house an additional time on his day off on Sunday to double check the cleaning and provided a courtesy tidying up of the garage and the back patio. The place looked better than when I first moved in! Ed provided me with flawless phone communication and consistent updates and photos of his progress and before and after photos. He responded to all of my calls and text messages immediately! Without hesitation I highly recommend Ed's Cleaning. I wish I would be able to use his service again but unfortunately I am moving out of state. I explained to him the places that needed more attention and made sure he understood what i expected. To further assure that I would be satisfied with his work, he added that if there was something I wasn't happy with that he would return and clean. Ed responded to my request for a quote for window cleaning within a day with an onsite visit. He gave me a quote on the spot and set an early date for the job immediately. He arrived promptly on the cleaning day and worked non-stop for over six hours except for a brief lunch break. I have a large house with some very high windows and skylights. He did a wonderful job and asked me to walk around and inspect before the job was declared done. We read all these reviews and so we hired Ed.  Maybe he is going thru some bad times, but wow, our experience with him was NOT good. Not on time, work not done, lots of things were skipped, etc.  and expensive. No offense to dogs, but I would not hire him to clean our dog house. read more
