Except when I walked in the first thing she said was why didn't I go for blood test? Also had an echo cardiogram, and she was wondering why they did not set a follow up appointment with me to discuss the results. 10 weeks later.....The physician seemed fine. I had seen them previously before they moved into this group and I did like them very much. But this office is under completely different management. I have been a medical office manager, my whole adult life and the lack of communication and the lack of experience of the front desk is noticeable. I have had three maybe four appointments in this location and each time they ask me if I'm new and each time they tell me that my Medicare card is not valid. So while I do like the doctors, I am leaving this practice due to the problems with the front desk. Very disappointed and sad to leave, but the problems seem serious enough for me to find another primary care physician..

They just shrugged it off, said it was "just anxiety", didn't take me seriously. "Oh, you're 'aware of your heartbeat'? So what?" So I've just been trying to ignore them and hope that they're benign, but it's a really scary sensation when it skips beats, and I always had a nagging feeling that they were never really diagnosed. After a friend told me about how his skipped beats were caused by a life-threatening heart problem which required emergency surgery, I decided I needed a real diagnosis. So I found Dr. Walia on ZocDoc and made an appointment. I was all prepared to defend myself and explain that I wasn't paranoid and wasn't imagining things and just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious, but I didn't need to. She actually listened to me and took it seriously and scheduled tests. The tests showed it to be benign PVCs, and now I know I can just ignore them safely. She was kind and understanding and explained everything well, which isn't my usual experience with doctors.

Was outside of business hours so I couldn't even get the work done until the following week. The doctors seem to be okay here. The receptionists are extremely caring and polite.
