They also ran 240V into the garage for a possible EV charger. None of this was simple -- It required trenching between the house and the garage, and since our house is eighty years old, they had to do a lot of fiddling around old electric and telephone wires. My wife bought an all-electric vehicle two weeks ago and Paul advised me on which charger to buy, installed it two days ago and we love it! Along the way, Paul and his crew helped me understand the interplay between the street power, our solar production, and our generator.
