I'm a disabled veteran who does not qualify for dental care through the VA, so when I found myself needing dental care, I started looking for a way to do it with my limited income. I signed up for care through https://dentallifeline.org/, which offers Donated Dental Services for needy individuals. Donated Dental has a long waiting list, and you only receive services once. It took me several years to get to the top of the list, and Dr. Ryan volunteered his services for me. I ended up having to have two extractions, and a deep cleaning/root planing. Dr. Ryan gave me such a thorough, detailed examination, and then went over the best options for my care. I felt so at peace and at ease with him and his staff, and they were all willing to give me the time I needed to get all the information I needed. Tanya, and Dr. Ryan's office staff, gave me valuable information on how to find an affordable dental plan that I could sign up for, so that I can continue receiving care through Moore Dentistry. After my experiences in their chairs, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I extend my fullest heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ryan, Tanya, and the office staff at Moore Dentistry!

I get the statements from both insurances, and he is NOT IN NETWORK!! Now I'm stuck with the entire bill, and no one told me he dropped out of the networks, and I was told "patient responsibility to make sure dentist is in your network." Seriously? That's why I originally chose him, because he WAS. All of a sudden, he's NOT, and I'm not informed? That's why I left Rockford Dental, because they couldn't bill in a timely manner, and made lots of mistakes. I spent more time reconciling the statements and insurance EOB's, than their own billing department. Skip this place if you want a place that bills accurately.

I recently went with my terrified sister, and they kept her talking and distracted the entire time. It may just be me, but sometimes Dr. McNitt seems a little condescending about how I act (so what if I get a little chatty when I get nervous?), but that could also be because I'm gassed up. Regardless, of all the dentists I've been to, this is my favorite and I will return for my check-ups. They're also good at helping you utilize your insurance and working with your budget.
