She makes you feel very important, comfortable, and at ease. She is very personable and always asks about your life. She also explains any procedures she needs to do very thoroughly so you feel like you're on the same page throughout your care. This new building is fantastic. They just moved in a few months ago so not everything is 100% finished, but already it is very modern, clean, and inviting. The staff are super friendly, and along with free coffee and snacks while you wait, they do a fantastic job making you feel very welcomed.

Then I called a week later to cancel my upcoming cleaning, and she didn't recall talking to my wife on the phone or getting an email!(the email was received and didn't bounce). So they never canceled it. I found this out when I got an email from the patient connect of a reminder of the appt.. So my wife called and tried to cancel it with one of the other people in the office, with the appt still 2 weeks in the future. I then got a$50 dollar charge through patientconnect for a missed appt. THIS PLACE is a bad JOKE. Surprisingly Dr. Patel is probably the best dentist I've ever had, too bad his office is run like this. Also he's had lousy hygienists until recently.

This means they went off of "what they saw". I have been considering legal action against them and may still go forward. If all of this isn't enough of a reason I have also been made to wait over 45 minutes to be seen multiple times as well as been offered botox.... AT A DENTIST OFFICE?! I'm a disabled veteran who does not qualify for dental care through the VA, so when I found myself needing dental care, I started looking for a way to do it with my limited income. I signed up for care through https://dentallifeline.org/, which offers Donated Dental Services for needy individuals. Donated Dental has a long waiting list, and you only receive services once. It took me several years to get to the top of the list, and Dr. Ryan volunteered his services for me. I ended up having to have two extractions, and a deep cleaning/root planing. Dr. Ryan gave me such a thorough, detailed examination, and then went over the best options for my care. I felt so at peace and at ease with him and his staff, and they were all willing to give me the time I needed to get all the information I needed. Tanya, and Dr. Ryan's office staff, gave me valuable information on how to find an affordable dental plan that I could sign up for, so that I can continue receiving care through Moore Dentistry. In May 2026 I go in for a cleaning, they ask if "everything is the same", I say yes, they clean and do a crapload of xrays, even though I asked if they checked with my ins. to see if they are paid for. I get the statements from both insurances, and he is NOT IN NETWORK!! Now I'm stuck with the entire bill, and no one told me he dropped out of the networks, and I was told "patient responsibility to make sure dentist is in your network." Seriously? That's why I originally chose him, because he WAS. All of a sudden, he's NOT, and I'm not informed? That's why I left Rockford Dental, because they couldn't bill in a timely manner, and made lots of mistakes. I spent more time reconciling the statements and insurance EOB's, than their own billing department. Skip this place if you want a place that bills accurately.
