Small local park with a play ground, multiple bathrooms, water fountains, paved flat trails, football field, and a wooden trail. There are two parking lots one will lead to the children's play gorund and the other to the football field. The trail to the woods is a few blocks from the parking spot. It was a lot smaller than I expected maybe a 15min walk around the whole loop. There is a small stream of water along the whole trail and bridges. It's a good spot to go for a walk. Not worth the drive since it's quite small. Seems like a good spot for children. read more

This park has 3-4 large tennis courts, interactive fountain, playground, picnic tables, paved trails, and a large synthetic turf Field for football/soccer. This park is pretty awesome. Equipped with very nice tennis courts it makes it a great spot to come on a Saturday and enjoy hitting around some bouncy balls. The playground is nice and there is a nice common area for people to have picnics and family gatherings. This park offers both a covered and uncover playground, tennis and baseball fields and a splash pad during the warm months. The covered playground is great for when you have children under 3 who can't handle the strong sun, for the middle of summer or when it's raining. The uncovered playground has so many different types of equipment that we've spent 2-3 hours there. There is also a big open grass area for picnic or playing in the sun. The bathrooms have a changing table and a belted seat inside the stall so you can keep your kids from touching everything in the bathroom. Nice park but I wanted to make aware of a group of unfriendly pickleball players. Not a good place for beginners. A "Karen" approached us and said Monday, Wednesday and Friday were open play and that we had to give up our court after our next game was up. I felt we were targeted because she didn't approach any of the other players who were there before us. I didn't understand why she and her group of entitled friends couldn't use the empty court beside us. The rules posted at the front gate don't mention anything about rules this lady made up. read more

EE Robinson is a nice park with an 1.0 paved trail. The trail loops around the parking lot and is an easy quick walk. There isn't much in terms of scenery on the main path. There is a secondary trail located off of the main path that takes you into woods. There is also a playground, sports field, benches, restrooms and tennis courts. read more

The only thing this park has going for it is the covered playground. Other than that, it has a really bad design. It has one narrow entrance that splits into three lanes that are bi-directional. When there's something going on, it gets crowded quick, and people can't figure out which way to go. It gets really bad when people start to park anywhere they can find a space, regardless of if it was an actual parking space. This results in narrow one-lane lanes that causes a deadlock of people not being able to proceed in either direction. The overflow parking is behind this insanity and down in a hole. Quite a hike for little children. The sidewalks and spaces between the fields can only hold so many people. It cannot hold an event's worth of people. It gets extremely crowded very quickly. The fields are surrounded by chain-link fences, so it acts as a cattle corral. Do not go there if you can't stand touching someone else 100% of the time. Today, Sugar Hill had their Easter Egg hunt. It was the most atrocious event ever. I've seen chaotic music festivals with better organization. The insufficient parking, narrow walkways, and incompetent "staff" made the event a terrible one for children. Many of them left empty-handed, terrified, and depressed. I wanted to leave as soon as I saw the chaos. Only visit this park if NOTHING is going on. Otherwise, find a better-designed park. There are tons of them around the county. read more

This is a nice local park in sugar hill. I enjoy coming here to walk on the trails. If you are alone please be careful because I have noticed some weird men who followed me around for a few minutes and one time I even left the park because I felt that there was a man watching everywhere I went at the park. My kids love both of the EE Robinson Parks! So being fairly new to the Sugar Hill area, this is the place to take your little ones. The newer park is very large and has attractions for toddlers as well as older kids. There is everything from slides, climbing obstacles, swings, etc for all age groups. I believe there are nearby soccer, baseball, tennis, beach volleyball fields/courts as well but I have used any on my visits. For me, it's all about the kids. During the cooler months, take your kids to the newer/larger playground as the playground is very open with plenty of room for the kids to run around. There is plenty of parking here with bathrooms nearby. For me, when the weather gets too hot, I like to take the kids to the covered location. Not as big as the newer location but plenty for your kids to the enjoy. You can chase your kids around under the covered playground without passing out from heat exhaustion. read more
