I ordered a Kohler sink strainer and received it in 2 days. However, I could not use it with my disposer so I had to return the strainer. It took a full month to receive the RMA for the return. I had to email and call multiple times. After finally receiving the RMA I immediately shipped the strainer via UPS with a tracking number to their Hagerstown,MD warehouse, signed by KINNEY. Worse Customer Service EVER!!! Ordered almost $1000 of items for a renovation we were doing on 2 bathrooms. One part we weren't sure of, so we called them and their person asked us to send a picture so she could tell us the right part to get. Well, we did and the part turned out to be the wrong part. 1) they charged $100 and our contractor got the correct part for $20 2) took them forever to send info on how to return 3) had to sign a form that HAD to be included with the part stating it was never opened or used 4) had to send it via their specifications (I couldn't send the cheapest way)--of course I was paying for it 5) waited over a week after I got notification they received it and finally asked when reimbursement would be. The response was when they received it. Sent them the tracking information and waited another week. 5) Have to pay over 50% restocking fee! Total time to wait for reimbursement ( that was their fault) was over a month. And that reimbursement didn't come anywhere close to the money, time, and effort it took to return it. I called Efaucets and they contacted Kohler and said they would send a replacement out. A few days later I received a couple of screws, but no handles. I went to the Efaucet website and wrote an email with pictures to show what I was looking for. No response. I called Efaucets again and spoke to a very snotty customer service representative (Stephanie). She indicated that she would call Kohler. Called again the next day. Still working on it. I couldn't agree more with the overwhelming majority of reviewers. This is one of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They dishonestly advertise products as in-stock and available for overnight shipping when they don't stock them at all. I had contractors waiting an entire week for a plumbing fixture to arrive after paying extra for overnight delivery. I called the company to find out where my fixture was -- they told me it was out of stock and there was nothing they could do. They told me they would refund the cost of the overnight shipping. Not only did they never refund the cost, but they then DOWNGRADED the shipping on the pending order to ground, so even when the piece came in stock it took two extra days to arrive. I placed a fairly large order with Efaucets because their prices were lower that what I receive from my normal supplier with my designer/contractor discount. The online experts did a great job of explaining product details. I ordered on Monday and received an email confirmation immediately with a promise of tracking numbers for shipping the in stock product within 24 hrs. I didn't receive the tracking info by Tuesday so I called customer service on Wednesday morning. I got through right away and was told that the email had just been sent. True..I checked the tracking numbers and saw that 8 out of 9 pieces were already delivered to the project site. The 9th piece, a toilet bowl arrived on Friday but was totally smashed. I called customer service..got through immediately. Shantel asked me to send photos. I sent the photos and asked what the process was for getting a replacement piece. No answer 24 hours later but 48 hours later, a new toilet bowl arrived. So within 10 days of placing my order, I received all product and had a customer service issue resolved. Communication could maybe have been a little better but I really have no complaints. It seems a lot of the complaints here stem from people either not being knowledgable about the product before ordering or not understanding the return process. *Inspect packages when they arrive *Document any damage to the carton and the product with photos. Companies need these to file freight claims so they can be reimbursed. It ultimately helps them keep their prices low. *If you don't get a confirmation that you cancelled an order, assume they didn't get the message or that you sent the cancellation to the wrong department. It's the consumer's responsibility to find out what propr procedure is for filing a damage claim or canceling an order. I won't hesitate to order from efaucets again. read more
