My gel manicure with Lilie is excellent. She is professional, precise, and pays close attention to every detail--my nails always turn out beautiful. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my pedicure experience. Diana cut me twice on my big toe. I was left sitting in the chair no lotion on my feet without being told the service was finished the pedicure felt incomplete. The customer service came across as dismissive. As a paying customer, I would have appreciated better communication I'll definitely continue booking with Lilie, but I won't be returning to the same pedicure technician. read more

More than once, I showed up excited for the design we'd discussed, only to be told in person that they couldn't actually do it--either it was "too complicated" or they didn't have the right colors. If they had just been upfront from the beginning, I would've happily chosen something simpler that they could actually do. Instead, I was put on the spot last minute, scrambling to find a backup--and even then, the results were sloppy and rushed and the overall experience was disappointing. What made things worse was the attitude. The nail tech I worked with was visibly annoyed when I pointed out mistakes--rolling her eyes, tugging at my hands aggressively, and acted like I was the problem--when I was just asking for what we had agreed on. The energy was cold and dismissive, and it felt like they picked and chose who deserved basic kindness. It's a shame because the salon itself is gorgeous. But the lack of honesty, consistency, and basic professionalism just aren't there. Terrible experience -- avoid at all costs. We booked appointments for a family of four for Mother's Day. One of the nail techs cut my sister's hand during the manicure and brushed it off, saying, "You're just sensitive," even though she was bleeding. Understandably, my sister paid for her portion and left early. When it was time to pay, they overcharged me by including my sister's service again, even though she had already paid. I went back after I realized and I asked for an itemized receipt, and the woman at the counter refused--just said I'd get it through email. And they refused to correct the charge. I've been coming to EG Beauty for about 3 months now. The establishment itself is always clean and organized. This last visit an employee offered me coffee, which was very nice. The handpiece heads are always packaged so I can assume they properly sterilize their equipment. I book with Lilie every appointment and her work is always excellent. She works in a timely manner but with steady gentle hands. She is friendly, makes sure every step of the way you are happy with how it's going. Another thing to note is that with Russian style manicure, the technique may not be for everyone. Sometimes my fingers are a little sore but it's totally worth it. My nails look amazing and I always get compliments! Also, they last 6-7 weeks, no breakage, no peeling of the polish and my natural nails have grown so long with the help of their technique. Overpriced and discourteous. Walked by this place after my usual nail salon: Nails For You had a long wait time and decided to try it since it looked empty. They charged $26 to remove regular gel nail polish from my real nails. She used a drill to remove the gel from my nails and hurt my nail surface on various nails, was not gentle at all. Decided to leave after no one would tell me how long the wait was for them to actually get started on a regular gel manicure. read more
